Sometimes my small dog would wake up in the middle of the night with excitement to see me then go back to sleep after a few minutes. I’m able to fall back asleep too and enjoy the encounter.
My fur baby knows I like to rest my hand on her back while we sleep. She will position herself perfectly. Any unusual noise at night, and she will stand up on the bed, and growl convincingly.
I agree. It is comforting to have my dog or both of them sleeping next to me. They are both cuddlers and they prefer my bed to their crates. I don't blame them! They are both older puppies and are doing better on house training, so, I am okay with it.
My 80 lbs Staffe would sleep with me and I’d wake up almost off the bed or my ribs aching due to his bun being pushed against my ribs to no end however I miss that and loved it,best sleep ever 🙏🏼😘🐶🥰❤️
My first beagle ended up sleeping with us after being neutered, resulting becoming very protective to other dogs. He was trained/socialized as a pup. Our current beagle sleeps in a crate and is very friendly to other dogs. He only sleeps with us when we’re watching tv on the couch.
Slept with my chichi from 10 weeks for 13 yrs. Now have a rescue Jack Russell and he's in my bed now, every night. I sleep better with my lil pup by my side. And yes, he's a definite asset on cold nights. ❤❤
I always sleep with Two Dogs every Night !!! Luckily one Sleeps by my Feet, and the other Sleeps at the top of the Bed next to Me !!! They like to have a Play Fight with each other at about 3 am !!! We are all very Happy !!! I don't have a Wife or Children !!! I have had dogs all through my 70 yrs of Age !!!
4 yrs ago i lost Aztec,my German Shepard, who qas my bff @ protector for almost 11 yrs. His death shattered me. For the next yr i grieved non stop. Finally a friend surprise me with a pup, hes a blue nose reverse brindle. I named him Dozer, for his habit of putting his head down - plowing thru anything that stood in his way lol.. I've trained him myself, and he sleeps with me some the 1st night i saw him, he was 3 months old . Hes now 100 lbs, and i went to a rescue @ found a little red/ white pit bull who is only 60 lbs. She'd been on the kill list at the huma e society @ the rescue pulled her fro mm there, but She'd spent 4 months in a kennel waiting on someone to give her a chance. She is the sweetest, most loving platful pup anyone could want. They get along heat, and we all sleep together in a king size bed. Well, on one corner of it lol... and i wouldn't have it any other way. I know I'm loved lol and they are adored...❤❤❤
What a heartwarming story! It sounds like Aztec was an incredible companion, and while his loss was deeply felt, I'm glad Dozer and your little rescue pit bull have brought joy and love back into your life 🐕💛
I do sleep better with my 3dogs. But it's a twin bed and they combine are 175 pounds. I wake up with a horrid back ache from sleeping around their bodies. Funny thing, it's the 20 pound dog that takes up the most room. She sleeps in the middle of the bed and stretches out.
I used to share my bed with two Amstaffs & two poodles also an occasional Golden Doodle until I was over sleeping like a pretzel!… Now I/we sleep on the floor, still like a pretzel but my back is much less stiffer in the morning & I haven’t fallen out of or pushed out of bed for some time now… I do though now find I can’t sleep on a bed anymore…
My Doggy always sleeps on the bed with me. But she takes over the whole bed and pushes me right to the edge.😁
It's amazing how our furry friends can claim the entire bed with their adorable presence.🐕
My dogs are the nicest people I have ever known!
🐕🥰
Lol, can't say that about most humans!
Some dogs like under the covers some out, i always sleep with my loving dogs, they are a blessing.
Dogs truly are a blessing in our lives!

It's wonderful to hear that your Japanese Chin brings you comfort and helps reduce your anxiety!
Dogs are great friends
I feel that sleeping with my dachshund is a good way to relax and I sleep better.
Yes, sleeping with dog really comforts me too 😘
I can't imagine not having my dogs sleep with me over last 15 years now. I have CPTSD. No nightmares or waking up at night. And I feel safe too!

It sounds like your trio of furry friends brings both comfort and a bit of a sleeping challenge! 😄
I have a twin bed and Pablo is only 15 lbs, but he still manages to have me about to fall out of bed every morning. ❤
I'd invest in a bigger bed
I sleep in the bed of my french mastiff, well at least it feels like that!
Hope you enjoyed the video!🥰

People that lives with dogs have a longer and a happier life, and their children's perform better at school.
I have an Australian shepherd and she sleeps with me every night…..
Me!!
I have a rat terrier she sleeps with me
The oxcytocin effects both human and canine, so it's not one- sided. :)
We love our Golden Retriever pup. But sleeping in bed with us is a no no. He doesn't like being cuddle anyways, he loves sleeping a lone.
I can’t sleep without my three dogs
My Jack Russel dog I never let her sleep in my bed she got her own dog bed too is on the floor I don’t like dog sleeping in my bed
Firstttt
So can sleeping with another human.
if u share ur bed with small dog ur dog will probably poop and pee on ur bed if u sleep like dead human
You will get some unwanted guests 😒
