I am overwhelmed with the wisdom of these great men. No one can ever surpass this level of poetic license, wisdom and poignancy as much as these legends do. I say that was a job well done to these guys. Your voices will live on through your music and this spirit is what liberated us... some of us from ourselves and some of us from the enemies from within and from without.
I'm not a fan of Reggae as such. This song and indeed, whole album is profound music beyond all genre definitions. Every note and word rings with authenticity; it makes my heart bounce with joy to hear this again!
I guess you realized you like reggae more than you thought ! I went from grunge and hardcore punk as a youth , straight into roots and culture ... never looked back hahaha
@@joshuai7 I like roots and toots. I'm not so good with the more fashion-conscious modern digital kind. No disrespect, just this music moves me and I'm happy with that. :)
@@joshuai7 saw and met Brinsley Forde at Boomtown a couple of years ago. I grew up on that album, so it was a blessing to be able to shake him by the hand and say thank you.
Yes I , this version is better than john peels but john peel killed it with wondering Wonderer, what more can I say ,this tune is filled with true authenticity of life as we old-fashioned souls see the world today, sad
