Yeah, I just ordered it! It’s a very sexy bike from its tech and quality for what you’re getting for the money. It was between this and the one you have, this one is less expensive but much more refined then the 512. You’re getting much more in my opinion. The 512 has a lot of moving parts in the motor that you will need to deal with and the 72V option with that speed is just to dangerous for that design. I also have the Motor Goat and really like it but Segway is just to good to pass up at this price. It’s about 20pounds heavier than the Motor Goat without the battery. One thing I love about the motor goat is I can pick it up easily without the battery and put it into my car if needed. Not as light as a super73 but a Super73 is more like a kids toy e-bike in my opinion.
I hear you on all this for the Xyber. I looked briefly at the GOAT and while it's good bang for the buck, everything else I prefer the Segway Xyber. Top speed isn't as important to me as I'm not planning on spending much time on highways. I'm going to compare this with the Ristretto later. One big thing is how silent and stealthy the Xyber is compared to my mid-drive Ristretto. Some might like the sound of a loud whirring from the chains and motors; I find it gets old. Especially when I don't want the attention when I'm cruising along. Segway has put a lot of thought, engineering and research into the Xyber and Xafari based on all the feedback on their previous e-rides, and it really shows. I'll likely get one later this year, and definitely before the crackdown in 2026.

I won’t order until top speed is higher than 35. That’s a bit ridiculous for that amt of power and cash. I live in ohio not ca.
One of the great benefits of not living in California = more freedom.
