    Greetings! My takeaway from this video of yours is a reflexivity statement. That is, one of the ways to prevent being stuck in themes development during qualitative data analysis and interpretation or being unable to find codes could be to identify a researcher positionality in the research project. This identification through self-discovery helps a researcher identify and answer a) why research questions were worded the way they were worded; b) what the researcher is passionate about that can be indirectly learned through a study title/ research design/ analytical approaches/ and other variables; c) what is a bigger 'agenda' that the researcher is pursuing through completing the study in the way they intend to complete and arrive to answering research questions. I believe, once the researcher is clear with themselves, methodological and theoretical underpinnings of the research can be justified. Which would potentially lead to fruitful coding and theme development.

      Yes, you got this right. In essence, when working on themes we should think about our study on 3 different, but related levels - we should remember the rationale and why we are doing this, we should (obviously) think about the data itself and what we are seeing, and we should keep in mind the potential implications and contributions (because sometimes we may want to create a theme that sounds reasonable, but when we think again, there would not be any specific implication or practical value from having this theme)

    Frankly i hoped that the themes pompes out like a magic from the codes but unfortunately it's not the case... I'm stuck and can't move forward.. don't know what to do whit all those codes.. so i am trying to read more about my subject maybe i'll find something
