- The luxury of winter airsoft is that you can always take a break in the airsoft war. The hot dinner is either served at your place just after returning from an airsoft battlefield or you can warm up yourself at the respawn. But in the real war it looks much different. In this part of Airsoft vs Reality we focused on problems with the winter airsoft gear and some scenes of famous battles from the World War 2.

You don't have to be from the country to understand. I don't want to explain the entire concept of it, but the gist is that they would rather burn in hell than freeze in the cold.
"Socks" and "The visit" were amazingly sad and touching.

Almost 100 years ago world war 1 ended , this is clrealy world war 2
reality is a major wakeup call to airsofters. I spent 5 Xmas of my 11 1/2 years( in the Army) in combat zones. That is nothing compared to the old soldiers. Now they were real warriors. They are who I respect. They are the soldiers that deserve the right to complain and cry about it. Not,us. My 1st tour in Bosnia was the coldest winter there in 30+ years. It was cold and nothing worked like it should but, Where there is a will,there is a way. Excellent video again. AWESOME channel.

Wow, super deep. On this channel's previous videos (at least the ones I've watched), the humor has been fairly shallow and the plots are unexciting. This video, however, is incredible. The perfectly edited scenes presented me with such deep remarks. Between the shooting of the wounded German in the first scene and the "Burn in hell." "But we are stuck here, in the cold" combined with the wounded American brushing off his injuries to the German (Yes, I am feeling for the German) who couldn't make it home for Christmas that year (or likely any year afterwards due to their campaign being suppressed), I feel like I have just seen a movie clip, you know, that one scene in all war movies where all hope is lost, yet you keep moving. I feel like I have just watched the climax to three of those movies. Very well done. Keep up the great work!

I hope you guys read this. I thank you for this. Not only do you have some great comedy. but you can really show what war really is. That last one got me. Most soldiers never made it home. Ever. there families only got pieces back. If they were lucky a whole body. That guy with frost bite.... He wont be coming home with a leg. Nobody wants to be away from their family for Christmas. Its a shame war exists.
+JJ Kennedy I recommend watching Generation kill. Not exactly as dramatic as what you described there but it gives a good view of today's American war.

I honestly loved the World War Two part. It really shows how brutal the war was, and how the troops had little humanity near the end of the war.

Wet and cold feet over a longer duration of time will cause what is called a "Trench Foot" - I still remember how we, when I was a recruit in the army was shown two hours of movies and photages from actual situations where soldiers lost their legs due to it!
Especially a scene where big parts of the foot came off when they removed the boots!
For some reason it was always just before lunch when they showed us that sort of movies!
But we learned the importance of having dry extra socks!!!
Who ever directs the reconstruction’s has a real talent and the end bit always cracks me up

I am American and I'm just gonna say this: you did an out standing and great job on the United States Army Airborne troops. 101st. I especially like the alcohol, cigarette and coca cola that he opened with his bayonet. Very patriotic. Lol. At first I thought he was gonna cut his toes off because that's usually when you get alcohol and cigarettes. Lol. Oh what you have to cut part of my foot off? Okay. Fuck. Let me get a few shots of whiskey and a cigarette. Lol That was the most American scene I have ever seen in a foreign film. It was so inspirational lol

great, ok I use often Canon 5D Mark II and the SONY A7S, but it looks like you use a gimbal or a software-stabilizer, that great for your footage!
We use very simple camera stabilizator. Maybe this year I will buy gimbal. We use Canon 550D and 60D as well. It has much more better stabilization.
I loved the airsoft socks scene! I couldn't stop laughing seeing his feet on the vents.

i mean... my countrys men in the estonian legion in ww2 were sloutherd by the checks in the last days of war when they had surrenderd so... i think there was a war in czechoslovakia
My grandfathers didn't fight directly in the wars of the 1940s and 1950s but I am still convinced these men were a kind of generation we will never see again. My first grandfather served in the merchant marines (sailing cargo vessel to supply the troops in the Atlantic), he had a one in four chance of being killed, without ever having a chance to fight back. My other grandfather was claustrophobic yet would serve in SAC (Strategic Air Command) as a sack pilot. His job was to fly in front of the main bombers who had a pay lode of nuclear warheads and to take the brunt of any soviet defenses that would try to stop his air wing if would war three broke out. He would have no air support as the mission he was to take on was far out of the range of any escorts, all he would have to arm himself would be the jamming equipment and basic chaff. Twice he was 20 minutes from take off (a point of no return as it was to be assumed after take off the soviets would have hacked communications so any orders to scratch the mission were to be ignored) once during the Cuban Missile Crises and once after the Kennedy assassination. If he had gone up the generous estimate was that he would have a 7% chance of coming back alive. His orders were to land in Sweden if he did survive the run on Moscow... and then to land on a runway that he knew was to short to land at.
I can not image the courage it must have taken to ever take on either of those missions. And I firmly believe that it will be a long time before we see another generation like that ever again.

I particularly enjoy the fact that you even had at least one German soldier using a Czech Vz.24, renamed the G24t by the Germans. It saw massive issue to German forces during the war and certainly would have been utilized by German forces in Czechoslovakia. Major points for that.
