there's gotta be something you are leaving out, because I have deleted and restarted this several times, and my ball keeps moving and a speed much faster than yours. Yes, i am following everything perfectly to your video.

Hmm ... Strange, Ill have to run a test to determine the cause, could be something changed on a newer version of Maya or I left out a step

@@WhatMakeArt thank you, that would be a great help, because I've been wracking my brain with this.

Do you have the same frame rate?

@@WhatMakeArt Yes, I asked my Professor. He told me a long method to fix it, I later found a shorter method to fix it, the playback speed is NOT automatically set to realtime in the 2024 version. So, I had to select "realtime", to get the ball to playback at a the actual 30fps rate. IMO, that's a bit ridiculous of Maya to do that.
I appreciate you reaching out. Do you have any suggestions for rolling the ball backwards off scene? Apparently, he doesn't want me to have my scene made to be "front and center" on my ball, I literally have no clue how to angle my camera any differently. To be honest, I've learned more from your videos, than I have from my class.
