I've been playing War Thunder for 8 years now. and i am level 60 because I kept quitting in between, now I'm 10.3 in Germany and just before rank 8. because unfortunately I was grinding other nations back then. The next nation I'll grind is USA, so I'm at 6.3. (I only have one nuke)
It's still baffeling me, someone who has played this game for 9 years, that Elden Ring, is less expensive than a top tier premium, Elden Ring, the game of the year with over 100 hours of content/ play through, is less than a shitty tank that will make 2 times the money a tt one does
I'm surprised people aren't talking about the M60-2000 (120S), the Abrams turret on an M60 is just so wacky. Not to mention the 105mm gun & M829A1 Sabot at 10.0 is wild.

This tank is insanely good. When i was talking about it in game, how OP it is, and how insane Gaijin was, someone called me an idiot. I literally wiped their entire team, and a lot of the engagements I was shot first and playing very aggressively. People seriously think that because it has a bad reverse, it's fine at its BR. Wild.
This also raises the question how the T72 TURMS is at 10.0 and i own it, and really like it. The whole 10.0 Rus lineup is the only lineup i don't care about uptiers.
2s38, TURMST, BMP2M, SU25k, T80UD, OBJECT 292, STRELA. Do I really need to say it ? You can take all of these to 11.0 and still do amazingly well. I even tried bringing this loadout to 11.7 and still did amazing. There is no way this lineup should be at 10.0
They didn't raise the 2S38 to 11.0... maybe in 1 or 2 years when they install the next stupid P2W vehicle with 3 generation thermals, autoloader, Arrow and stabilizer, but since it only has 3000 HP, it has to be a reserve.
It's better then the t72b, better armour, better speed, better reload 7.2 vs 6.5, and similar round if not better whilst also being more blessed by russian bias

To put this into perspective. The Leo 2a4 is 10.3. the round is slightly worse the gunhandling is much better. It has thermals (t80 don't). It has insane mobility. It also has decent armour and very good survivability. I have like a 2.8 kd in those things and a 78% winrate. From my pow, the 2a4 fits right in my play style and this t80 is not really that strong. The 2a4 even reloads faster than the t80 and JustinPlays mentioned he thinks the 2a4 is kinda weak with its round at 10.3. so compared to thinks like that and the leo 2k or something, I don't think the t80 should or could move up in br.
@@touchgrass7834 The 2a4 only reloads faster than the t80 with a max and expert crew. The 2a4 is by far the best tech tree or premium 10.3 (moderna doesnt count), however, you cannot deny that the T-80UD, which is just a T-80U without thermals (11.0 btw) is stupidly powerful at 10.0.
I'm curious what reason I have to play this game when I'm at this exact BR where this and the 292 are squarely at? It really sucks being unable to penetrate through their front plates with an Abrams.
Honestly, I don't see it going past 10.3, simply because we already have tanks like the T-80B and Bishma at 10.3, so it would be strange for it to go higher
And it has shit fire control and shit mobility. The reload isn't better that 120mm NATO at expert Crew. I also would be really surprised if they moved it up. Comes from a guy who plays mostly 2a4's and I do not think this thing is equal to a 2a4. It is worse and fitting for 10.0 imo.
Yeah quite a few Russian vehicles at 10.0 need to be moved up to 10.3. Object 292, T80UD, 2S38, BMP2M, Strela all need to be bumped up and made into a 10.3 lineup. Turms is fine at 10.0 with the T-72B series of tanks.

I'm playing this and the object 292 at 10.7 with my T90A and honestly? They're still powerful. I don't think nerfing this tank even to 10.7 will hurt it's performance too much.
Warthunder community: this tank is way too strong, I got 30 kills in 2 games. Gaijin: meh, we balance off player stats and level 12 Timmy has a 0.3 K/D so it’s balanced. Tbh if the 2s38 is still 10.0 then this probably won’t move up.
The t80ud is literally just a t80uk at 10.0 with the contact5 era but the round is different it has 3bm42 but it has the same atgm which is good and no thermals but still it's t80uk chassis but with different engine and round (the reason I'm comparing to t80uk because it literally a free version and cheaper version if your too impatient to wait for the squadron points)

Only real advantage it seems to have that I know of over the T-72 B3 is slightly better armor (same weak spots), and better reload. Still less than the Abrooms. Can be 10.3, but at that point might aswell play the T-90A with I think more than 1000HP from my memory, and even better armor only .3 BR with 3bM60. 10.0 is meh for it, but still kinda low considering the Abrams original is 10.3, and Leo 2A4 being also 10.3. If you wanted to for the sake of parity bring it to 10.3 just cause, that’s fine tbh. I feel indifferent to it, because while I think the Abrams doesn’t pen well, it’s got the best survivability at its BR, and better mobility than anything Soviet in that 10.0-10.3 BR range other than T-80B maybe. Better turret traverse, a real reverse speed (T-80UD is worse than any T-80 on this lol), better gun elevator which is major imo. Even quicker reload. I’d say the Abrams is better than the T-80UD firing Bouncy Mango. 😂
T-80UD is trash at 10.0 as well as TURMS and T-72B. M1s and Leo 2A4s have faster reload, faster reverse speed, better mobility, better gun depression, faster turret rotation, faster vertical guidance, blowout panels. And you are okay with giving it 10.3 when it suffers already at 10.0? By the way T-72B has 43% win rate, TURMS 45%, 2A4 54%, M1 55%

I have played Germany 10.3, US 10.3 as well as USSR 10.0, and if you genuinely believe that the 2A4 and 105 M1 are better than the T-80UD and Turms, you are completely delusions and I have no other words. The 2A4 is widely considered the best 10.3, yet the T-80UD, which is at 10.0 gets a better gun, better reload (unless max + expert), and WAY better armor. All of these things matter much more than mobility, gun depression, turret rotation and vertical guidance. I mean for crying out loud, your round can go straight through EVERYWHERE on my abrams except lower front plate. That is nearly 80% of what you see from the front of my tank. As for the leopard, your gun can go through EVERYWHERE on the front, including the LFP, UFP and turret cheeks. Stop convincing yourself that the russian vehicles suck at that br, and start realising that the problem is you, not the tank.

If you're used to playing the Russian 10.0 lineup, then you're already aware that every game is an uptier because of the prevalence of the Leo2a4/vilkas, etc. And now with the Fuji, you can make a constant 11.0 uptier. So the UD is actually more of a 10.7 tank...
you can have a game like this with m60 and a stock apcr round when the enemy team is so bad and they play like a headless chicken.. that certainly happened when the 292 arrived and it doesn't have as much armor as ud

Why does no one use the standard HEAT rounds on this monster ? :) Played 30 games with HEAT and 30 with 3BM42. Often got more single hit kills with the HEAT rounds than the 3BM42 🤨
I stopped playing War Thunder after 8000 hours because of what Gaijin does… this tank is beter in every way than the M1 and 2A4 but its BR goes lower than them becasue Russian Bias… I HATE Gaijin and the way they do things… a stupid Russian company

By the way the T-72B (1989) is very strong for 10.0, so it also being 10.0 is kinda bonkers. All of the USSR 10.0 lineup should be 10.3 except the T-72AV, T-72B, and the Su25K. (yes that includes the strela, bmp2m, obj292, t72b(1989) and 2s25m)
if it gets moved above 10.3 it should get thermals even if it didnt have it irl, if it gets moved to 10.3 then Im okayish without thermals but full uptiers(11.3) without thermals is gonna suck.
I swooped it and the armor feels good but Its fine at 10.0.. No thermals and terrible reverse speed makes up for it, not everyone has snapshot reflexes either lol
The Object 292 was fine at 10.0 because the reload is 10 seconds, it lacks ERA, it lacks thermals, it lacks an MG, it lacks smoke, and the round is barely an advantage over something like 3bm42. This thing only lacks thermals with all the benefits of higher BR Russian tanks
Round is barely an upgrade? Bro it has 700mm of pen and its 152mm. Because of volumetric you literally 1 shot everything you pen, and you pen everything. Couple that with obviously having a broken fucking damage model where driver sight shots only take out driver and turret ring.

this thing is amazing but I also love facing them because the low levels that bought them have absolutley NO idea how to play, yesterday i decided to play a game and i got 9 ground kills, 1 air kill, 3 assists and one death (usinng t80B) and 6 of my kills were low level t80UD players.
90% of the time every shot in russian tanks ends in breach, barrel damage. begleit, Tam, gepards you name it everything kills breach, barrel. Heat Huge ass weakspot infront that can easily pen it and kill everything.
Tbh the Type 90 fuji shitting on the new T-80UD and Turms, who are in perma full uptiers (at least that's my experience while playing 10.0 USSR and my team gets wiped out by 2a4s and fujis by the 8th minute mark) so if I have to guess, neither the turms nor the UD are going up at this stage, their winrate and KDA is kept low by the level 15s that are buying them
How can you so confidently say this is going up in BR? The Object 292 is insanely broken at 10.0, and it stayed where it is. The 2s25 is insanely broken at its BR and it won't move. The Pantsir - everything the Russians have at high tier is at worst competitive, at best absurdly strong. I've given up on Gaijin ever not being a form of jingoistic Russian propaganda. It's getting worse and it's going to kill the game. I hope it dies soon, RIP.
I dont think its "Too low", as i see it, its practically a T-72B(1989), about the same armour, engine is pretty similar, awful reverse speed on both and no thermals. Both are 10.0
Man this is exactly what Russia needed at 10.0 to be more competitive. I mean if they had an MBT, Light tank and CAS premiums at that BR I would understand why this vehicle wouldn't get added but I'm glad it was.

The t80ud is literally just a t80uk at 10.0 with the contact5 era but the round is different it has 3bm42 but it has the same atgm which is good and no thermals but still it's t80uk chassis but with different engine and round (the reason I'm comparing to t80uk because it literally a free version and cheaper version if your too impatient to wait for the squadron points)
Yeah, but you don't get the one thing that makes T80s playable, Reverse speed. this thing is mid, and I'd take a T72B 1989 over it anyway day of the week.

I have 5-1 kd in most of the tanks , but in this thing i cant get that kd, because of the reverse, u are underestimating how frustrating it is to have no reverse and how many times it gets u killed, i dont think it should go up in BR

@@shikikanaz4624To put this into perspective. The Leo 2a4 is 10.3. the round is slightly worse the gunhandling is much better. It has thermals (t80 don't). It has insane mobility. It also has decent armour and very good survivability. I have like a 2.8 kd in those things and a 78% winrate. From my pow, the 2a4 fits right in my play style and this t80 is not really that strong. The 2a4 even reloads faster than the t80 and JustinPlays mentioned he thinks the 2a4 is kinda weak with its round at 10.3. so compared to thinks like that and the leo 2k or something, I don't think the t80 should or could move up in br.
dude reverse gear it's not something that should put a WHOLE br down, i mean it's a skill issue.
Only real advantage it seems to have that I know of over the T-72 B3 is slightly better armor (same weak spots), and better reload. Still less than the Abrooms. Can be 10.3, but at that point might aswell play the T-90A with I think more than 1000HP from my memory, and even better armor only .3 BR with 3bM60. 10.0 is meh for it, but still kinda low considering the Abrams original is 10.3, and Leo 2A4 being also 10.3. If you wanted to for the sake of parity bring it to 10.3 just cause, that’s fine tbh.
I feel indifferent to it, because while I think the Abrams doesn’t pen well, it’s got the best survivability at its BR, and better mobility than anything Soviet in that 10.0-10.3 BR range other than T-80B maybe.
Better turret traverse, a real reverse speed (T-80UD is worse than any T-80 on this lol), better gun elevator which is major imo. Even quicker reload. I’d say the Abrams is better than the T-80UD firing Bouncy Mango. 😂

T-80UD is trash at 10.0 as well as TURMS and T-72B. M1s and Leo 2A4s have faster reload, faster reverse speed, better mobility, better gun depression, faster turret rotation, faster vertical guidance, blowout panels. And you are okay with giving it 10.3 when it suffers already at 10.0?

I have played Germany 10.3, US 10.3 as well as USSR 10.0, and if you genuinely believe that the 2A4 and 105 M1 are better than the T-80UD and Turms, you are completely delusions and I have no other words. The 2A4 is widely considered the best 10.3, yet the T-80UD, which is at 10.0 gets a better gun, better reload (unless max + expert), and WAY better armor. All of these things matter much more than mobility, gun depression, turret rotation and vertical guidance. I mean for crying out loud, your round can go straight through EVERYWHERE on my abrams except lower front plate. That is nearly 80% of what you see from the front of my tank. As for the leopard, your gun can go through EVERYWHERE on the front, including the LFP, UFP and turret cheeks. Stop convincing yourself that the russian vehicles suck at that br, and start realising that the problem is you, not the tank.

TURMS on the other hand doesn't have even that, it can be penned everywhere at 10.0. it has gen 2 thermals that's it. how can I be convincing myself if I use facts and personal experience?

If you're used to playing the Russian 10.0 lineup, then you're already aware that every game is an uptier because of the prevalence of the Leo2a4/vilkas, etc. And now with the Fuji, you can make a constant 11.0 uptier. So the UD is actually more of a 10.7 tank...
Yeah in real life the t80ud is a t80u made in Ukraine in the Soviet Union times but with a desal engine and not a turbine like the t80 normally had
Not only the engine but the transmission is also one out of a t72 hence why it's reverse speed sucks the same

By the way the T-72B (1989) is very strong for 10.0, so it also being 10.0 is kinda bonkers. All of the USSR 10.0 lineup should be 10.3 except the T-72AV, T-72B, and the Su25K. (yes that includes the strela, bmp2m, obj292, t72b(1989) and 2s25m)
if it gets moved above 10.3 it should get thermals even if it didnt have it irl, if it gets moved to 10.3 then Im okayish without thermals but full uptiers(11.3) without thermals is gonna suck.

Most of the other 10.0 Russian MBT's get 3BM42 so other than possibly the armor I'd say its right in line.
I swooped it and the armor feels good but Its fine at 10.0.. No thermals and terrible reverse speed makes up for it, not everyone has snapshot reflexes either lol

The Object 292 was fine at 10.0 because the reload is 10 seconds, it lacks ERA, it lacks thermals, it lacks an MG, it lacks smoke, and the round is barely an advantage over something like 3bm42. This thing only lacks thermals with all the benefits of higher BR Russian tanks
Round is barely an upgrade? Bro it has 700mm of pen and its 152mm. Because of volumetric you literally 1 shot everything you pen, and you pen everything. Couple that with obviously having a broken fucking damage model where driver sight shots only take out driver and turret ring.

this thing is amazing but I also love facing them because the low levels that bought them have absolutley NO idea how to play, yesterday i decided to play a game and i got 9 ground kills, 1 air kill, 3 assists and one death (usinng t80B) and 6 of my kills were low level t80UD players.

Tbh the Type 90 fuji shitting on the new T-80UD and Turms, who are in perma full uptiers (at least that's my experience while playing 10.0 USSR and my team gets wiped out by 2a4s and fujis by the 8th minute mark) so if I have to guess, neither the turms nor the UD are going up at this stage, their winrate and KDA is kept low by the level 15s that are buying them
