- In this Walt Disney World vlog, I start the day at Disney Springs for lunch and a visit to the new Disney Vacation Club Lounge with friends Keith and Tracey from Cheers Ears. After exploring Disney Springs, we head to Epcot, where we enjoy snacks like School Bread and Viking Coffee, and experience rides like Soarin’ and Living with the Land. For dinner, we dine at Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney’s Yacht Club, where the steaks and Sauce Flight are a real highlight. I finish up the vlog with my trip report from Disney's Boardwalk, but there's still more fun to come!

Today’s adventure kicks off at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort before heading over to Disney Springs for lunch and a visit to the new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Lounge. I meet up with my friends Keith and Tracey from Cheers Ears, and we spend the morning exploring Disney Springs, including a visit to Ron Jon’s Surf Shop. For lunch, we settle on Blaze Pizza, one of my favourite spots for a quick, cheap and delicious meal. Their blood orange lemonade is a must-try!
After lunch, we head to the new DVC Lounge at Disney Springs. It’s a perfect spot for DVC members to relax and recharge with complimentary snacks and drinks. Once we’re done at Disney Springs, we hop on the bus and make our way to Epcot for an afternoon of fun. First stop: School Bread from Norway Pavilion, one of the best snacks at Walt Disney World. Keith also tries Viking Coffee for the first time, and it’s a big hit.
With the Florida heat kicking in, we cool off in some air-conditioned spaces and enjoy a few rides, starting with Soarin’ Around the World. We also hop on Living with the Land, a relaxing boat ride that showcases Disney’s innovative farming techniques.
For dinner, we head to Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. I go for the filet, while Keith has the New York Strip and Tracey also enjoys the filet. We try the Sauce Flight, which is a great way to sample several sauces with your steak. The bread, served with roasted garlic and Hawaiian salted butter, is not to be missed!
After a fantastic meal, I catch some of the Luminous fireworks from across the lagoon, the perfect way to end the day. Back at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, I reflect on what has been a wonderful stay. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I highly recommend the Boardwalk for its proximity to the parks, though light sleepers might prefer a quieter garden view room over a water view. I was lucky to snag a 35% passholder discount, which made this stay even sweeter.

Oh no. Just missed you. We were heading out to Beach Club via International Gateway when we passed Keith and Tracey coming in - probably to get the bus to their resort. That school bread is something else.
The plant is a Bird of Paradise. They are all over California. Especially, southern California. I thing they tie with Eucalyptus trees for the most abundant plant in California. Just my opinion as a native born Californian.
Did you have to ride out the hurricane?
Nice to see the different resorts but so not in my budget. When we first started coming to Disney we always stayed at French Quarter but now even that is getting way too expensive. Love Pop but it is the dearer of the values purely because it has The Skyliner, but worth the expense
