Join me for a brand new vlog series travelling to Walt Disney World for 8 nights. In this vlog I travel to Gatwick Airport, stay overnight at the Premier Inn just off from the airport (A23 Airport Way). I fly with British Airways on the morning flight, treated myself to exit row seats. I am staying at Saratoga Springs so check in and then head to Epcot for the evening.

Just found your video in the 'suggestions' list when watching another Disney vlogger. I went solo last year and felt like you before going, lost, nervous etc., just wanted to get there. It was odd when I was there at times and quiet (as in I felt quiet as I was solo) but I had a great time. Hoping to return in '26 and this time fly from LGW, went from Heathrow last year just so I could fly Virgin. Never Heathrow again, it was horrid to get to. Much prefer Gatwick for ease. So maybe BA next time, as long as they're now cancelling flights every which way!

I know what you mean about Heathrow, much prefer Gatwick myself. Yes BA have had quite a few issue with cancellations etc recently but they are still my preferred airline. I will try the likes of Tui or Norse maybe at some point you. Thank you for watching and joining me on this journey 😊

Totally the same about flying. It’s a necessity to get me to my holiday ( usually Orlando) but I really not do not like/enjoy it.
We were due to fly to Orlando tomorrow but currently TUI have delayed it until Friday but could then change again.
To be honest it’s bad timing for this holiday we have waited 2 years for but I’m even more apprehensive and anxious about going now and what things will be like when we get there! Husband & sons still keen to go when able but I’m really not sure! 🤷♀️

Well planned and good pre and travel day , this is the PI we stay as we find everything else is way too expensive
Let’s just say they weren’t pleasant and if it had been the other way round they would have been in uproar. Yes you will see him the odd time or two, this holiday was booked before everything so not a lot I could do. To be fair that PI wasn’t bad at all and for the price difference I’d book there over the other every time, it’s just a short walk. 😊
@OneGirlandHerTravels you could tell from the vlog something may have gone on. U don't need that on a flight. We r staying that PI when we go away next year. It's a good short walk so we don't mind either. PI was pretty expensive now I think overall got airports. The one at Heathrow isn't bad and we'll located.

You looked really happy Lisa and vlogging away without a care in the world , glad to see you enjoying life and it was a wonderful journey , we love a pre travel day as I suffer with anxiety and I like to be there all prepared , people don’t get it lol but if you have it you have it

Solo travelling will become more natural, I promise. Good book and a glass of wine are all you need.
I know you weren't sure, but I really do recommend the California/original Disney. Different vibe, but feels really special.

Oh they were a joy, constantly letting the kid rock our chairs, tray tables in and out and being slammed all the time, kid kept reaching over to poke us, was an absolute nightmare and they couldn’t care less 🙁

I really didn't think the other Premier Inn was that close! We always use the one in Gatwick, for a family room, which can cost us between £160_£180!
Can I ask what the dragon card is you were referring to for the lounge and discounts?
Are all the seats in the row you were sat in that narrow? We have booked the ones across from you😊

It is really easy to get and saves quite a bit then the one opposite the terminal. I have the DragonPass which I get through my bank account. I’m not sure if you can sign up for it individually but worth a look as it’s so handy. Yes all exit seats are more narrow as the sides and arm rests are static and don’t move 😊

Yes I did, we separated earlier in the year
