    Picked this up yesterday, and man, I was blown away! I've always been a Meguiars guy, and ran out of my usual Gold Class.. to give this a test. It's $4 cheaper, depending where you get it. It takes everything off the surface, with ease! Between this and GC, it's a close call.. props to Turtle Wax, for stepping up their game!!! What're your thoughts Chad? Can't go either wrong with either this or GC, to be honest. I say this because it's way more versatile, and cheaper haha. Will still use both for my "go-to's."

      +Acc0rd79 I know and I appreciate what you do. Some of the 1 gal concentrates we bought were like $20. I'm sure our 5 gallons of concentrate were way more.

      The Collector yah but if you use it a lot, it's worth it!

  • @detailingandstuff

    I just finally tried this soap yesterday. I thought it was going to be total junk because it's not very concentrated. But I was actually really suprised at its ability even though I think I used some super crazy amount that I didn't measure lol Probably wont be replacing my better wash and wax soaps. But as a wheel and paint prep soap I'm down with it.

    • @Acc0rd79
      @Acc0rd79  7 лет назад

      yup, there ya go! Everyone asks what a good way to strip wax is, at max amount this will do it so it's a good way for cleaning your car's paint before you get in there!

    For normal washing, I prefer wax shampoo or foam.

  • @staytrue5307
    @staytrue5307 3 года назад

    This is basically a snow foam, apc/citrus and a tfr plus wheel cleaner in one product, you could actually clean entire cars at different dirt levels by just changing ratio, it's like the only product you need, it's cheap as hell as well, unbelievable

    another great video.. I recently found your channel and have been watching the crap out of it.... Keep it up its getting me through winter... have to admit I'm a bit jealous cause love turtle wax products that's about all I've used since I started driving and maintaining a car I would like to know how easy/hard it is to remove wax with that though

    • @Acc0rd79
      @Acc0rd79  8 лет назад

      +gotenks 123 as long as you mix the proper ounces per gallon to the mix, it should just take the wax off if you want to do that. I dont plan to strip the wax at all but some people might before doing their 6 month wax job or whatever they do it at to make sure the surface is ready!

    Couldn't figure it out but yesterday I was cleaning some black trimming like door panels and other parts 1st I used turtle wax spray the ice brand but like 10 mins the panels went back to dirty and faded then I used black magic cherry spray and it still did the same thing is it the brand I use or did I do something wrong

    • @Acc0rd79
      @Acc0rd79  8 лет назад +1

      +eric gonzales you need something to actually keep the black sine and bring back the color. The exterior trim is a big problem and it always fades over the years on the plastic areas. Turtle wax does make a trim restore product. I have tested out the Mothers and Meguiars black trim restore product, both last a month or two before fading again but its going to stay black for awhile with those.

    6 oz for gallon... That means 30oz of soap for 5 gallon bucket! That's a lot of soap/chemical.... I'm using 1-2oz for 5 gallon water of Chemical guys citrus wash, and they recommend 5oz per 5 gallon to strip wax and stuff..
    It's way to much chemical for turtle wax, more than I'm comfortable with. Also, how much is this thing? With this much usage, it wouldn't last long

    • @Acc0rd79
      @Acc0rd79  8 лет назад

      +Ugur Baris Hey there, I honestly do not know the price as its still new, this was sent as a first product shipment from their factory and has not hit the market yet but soon will be. Its a very big bottle so it should last awhile but if you do plan to actually strip the wax or use the ultimate, you probably wont do it very often, only the worst dirty jobs! If you just wanted a regular clean, the ounce requirements is far less.
