@@crisnmaryfam7344 ight in a rude way i'll say it in a way it makes sense, after 8 years of the game being made its pretty fuckin old ya idiot. Meaning its a given that the game is old. My opinion came after the fact.
BSG forgot to mention that the minimal system requirements mean that you can run factory with 1 frame per second with 1 alive ai being present on the map. Shouldn't be too hard to fix this oversight i suppose, right?
@OneS I mean historically, yes their country represents war and famine. They aren't the most evil, but they have a history of neglecting and suppressing the voices of people, like am I supposed to feel bad for the Russian people who are going to war with Ukraine? I do but I don't
This my friend is one thing i'll never forgive and many people ignore. When i started playing before many years a system like that that they suggest still couldn't run the game even with the old lighting and i contact them thousands of times and they said you need to upgrade in the end its misleading and everyone can assume a scum if they leave this info false on their main site false for so long. Very nice video and a true problem that people dont rll talk about.
Right now I'm playing the game on a Ryzen 5 2600 Radeon 570 8gb and 16 gigs of 2400mhz ram I've stabilized it to at least 60 fps in every map and most of the times I'm above that even with 80-90 fps but 60 is usually where I'm around. I stopped using the in game ram-cleaner and physical core option and i do it myself with process lasso and islc memory cleaner. I use mip streaming and i have high textures and everything else off in the ingame settings. I've managed to eliminate i would say 95% of the stutters i can fight multiple enemies with no stutter or crazy lag. Although Streets isn't there for me my system performs very poorly on this map.
What's funny is the recommended (which would ideally be what can run the game smoothly AT LEAST at med settings). Rec is 3.2 ghz for an i7, mine is 3.4, rec is 16 gb of ram, mine is 32, rec gpu is dx11 w 2gb, mine dx12 compat w 8gb, rec is 19 gb of disk space, I have maybe that plus 8 gb of page file space on my SSD to help tarkov run... all this being said I struggle to get a solid 60 fps anywhere other than Factory, maybe Customs in some areas on the map.
Thnx for the context. Have a 1660ti, an i7, 50g 2666 mhz and nvme. Feels good knowing I have minimum requirements hahah been messing with the settings since I bought it. All but lighthouse and streets run at 70 plus on high but have to turn it down to medium at least for those 2. Streets gets as low as 40
Great video. You could throw in a couple settings that increased my fps dramatically: 1) Check the box for running both the launcher and the game exe as admin. Also disable full screen optimisation for the game exe. 2) On some cpus the game runs much better if you only run it on physical cores, but the option to do that in game doesnt work. In my case I disable SMT on AMD/Hyperthreading on Intel with Project Lasso software. this helped a lot on my ryzen 3600
i have an AMD 2600X CPU,RX570 and 32 GB RAM and for the past days/ weeks i kept dcing like you did. i always thought that it would be my crappy internet connection, i saw at my connection when scavs/ raiders loaded in, sucks to know, that i now need a new CPU and motherbord just to play tarkov again. after activating XMP my PC started bluescreening randomly, so i turned that off again. very informative video. thanks for the 100+ raids you redid after the update. i would have done 3 again and shipped it lol
I run an i5 4570 @3.2 ghz, 16gb ddr3, 1 tb nvme, and a gtx 970. I play streets pretty well. Get the occasional lag spike but it's been ok. I am level 38 working and have enough rep for max traders, just need a few more levels, standard edition account.
Your tech help videos like this one helped me immensely. I doubled my ram to 32g after the last one and most maps are playable for me now. Now I'm bottlenecked by my i5 7200 quad core. It's amazing how cpu intensive games are these days not even just tarkov.
Almost a year later and I can confirm that even with a 12900k and 32gb ram with a 4090 on med textures and pretty much everything else off, I get barely 100fps if im lucky on streets. It goes down extremely bad around and inside the mall on Klimov across from Pinewood. That whole area can drop fps badly. As for other maps, Interchange is also barely 100 fps inside the mall in many areas going to around 150 outside, shore line is also pretty bad barely over 100 outside. Even customs can dip below 100. Factory and labs though can get a pretty decent amount of fps. The new ground zero map can also pull a fair amount of fps as well. I haven't played in a couple wipes, but patch 0.14 is pretty bad for me in performance overall tbh.
ive got 16gb 3200mhz, ryzen 5 3600 with 1050 2gb of vram and i get more than 60fps on most maps, over 100 on some parts of the maps and around 140fps on factory and labs. I use process lasso which more or less completely gets rid of stuttering for me and before anyone say anything i know i need to upgrade my gpu dw. :)
i played my first couple wipes with r5 1500x, 16gb @2400 and a gtx970 It was definitely playable but I had to stick to woods/customs and would lag really hard anytime i tried to use a tac30 or vudu i think i was ranging between bout 50-55 fps on woods with a decent bit of stuttering, pretty shitty without gsync (1920x1080, lowest settings) I still played the game A LOT and really enjoyed it so your minimum requirements are very accurate. My current PC is pretty much exactly what you put down for recommended, r5 3600, 32gb @3200, 2060 super 8gb also really accurate, i stay at the 75fps mark a majority of the time on med settings
That was a really impressive video! Congrats my men. But I have to say a few things: - That is on the worst scenario, worst performing map in first minutes (which is good, but bad at the same time) - In my opinion you dont need that much gpu power, played recently on rx5500m getting always above 60 fps on 1080 native, and I have friends with bad gpus playing pretty well. Even integrated 680m can 1080 the game decently. The only problem is vram though - Thats without using fsr2, which can be activated always and should be enabled specially on minimum requierments hardware - Minimum requirements are usually set for 30+fps on lower than 1080 anyway...
To this day, Tarkov is the only game I've tried running that still gives me ridiculous amounts of issues. Weather it be Hunt Showdown, MW2, Elden Ring, or Cyberpunk for examples, none of them have had any level of performance issues that Tarkov has had for me.
None of those games are in Beta//Pre Release state either. Hard to compare the two. Though, if you REALLY want to, Just youtube Cyberpunk glitches.. Im pretty sure youll find more unique responses for that then tarkov will ever have.
i have a friend that played tarkov on a system about as bad as the minimum requirements for years, only thing was he had 2gbs of vram instead of 1. he played the game like that and was able to get around 40 fps at all low 1080p on all maps, listen i have absolutely no idea how he did it either
There is absolutely no way your friend played Lighthouse without crashing even once. R5 1600 and 16gb 2666Mhz but still i couldnt go past 35fps on water treatment that i never did any Lighthouse quests for two wipes until i upgraded my pc.
I actually happen to have exactly a Ryzen 5800x3d, 2080 ti, and 32gb ram (clocked only at 2933mhz, don't buy a shitty motherboard) playing on 3440x1440p I get about 80-120 on the less optimized maps and on labs and factory I'll get 140-180
Haha, I've got fooled by those requirements. Below short story form living with edge of darkness on the edge of playability. I've been following EFT development from the beggining and even I've almost completely quit playing video games years ago, and started using only laptops, I was always looking for Tarkov requirements when I was looking for new one (but wasn't following community feedback on reqs xD ) . I liked the idea for the game and was also amazed by STALKER series, so I promised myself that one day I'll buy beta pass, so I had to be ready anytime ;) Almost exactly 3 years ago I've bought my standard pass and launched the game with my i7 4720HQ (2,6÷3,6GHz), GTX 960M (4GB) and 8GB of RAM, but I just had to rise it to 16 GB (CL9 but only 1666MHz - motherboard limit). Compared to official requirements doesn't look so bad, huh? Because EFT is only game I play and I don't play so much I also don't feel strong urge to buy new PC, so I'm playing on the same device to this day xD Yea, it's hard, close gunfights often becomes slideshow, so while people are afraid of pocketwatch, delivery from the past or pendrives at the beggining of the wipe, my true nemesis and biggest roadblock is Friend From the West pt. 1 I won't tell you how much FPS I've got, because I don't know xD I dont want to run any unnecessary programs and also ingame fps counter will_lower_your_fps_nikitalaugh.avi 2 years ago I've bought EOD and I don't regret xD Idk, maybe I'm masochist (also wipe with 20 lvl to flea was one of my favourites haha), but aren't we all? ;) One my friends wanted to play one day, but he just get rid of his PC, so he did a zombie with old parts (I thinks specs was similiar to "minimal") and even most maps couldn't even load there were some successful raids on factory and woods :D Funny part is that major part of the time I played with UNDERclocked CPU and disabled boost (so max 2,6 GHz) because I found it optimal - heat became more important than anything else, but I no longer do that since few patches and lazy make-shift cooling upgrade by own idea (there was days that I was able to run 2 and sometimes quick scav before cpu completely throttled so I had to do breaks or manualy throttle cpu for in-stash time that I sometimes forgot to undo while going to raid hehe). Tbh I'm glad that 0.13 is not in summer... Even funnier is that I've brought many friends to EFT with modern gaming PC's and through those 3 years I've got the least amount of "server connection lost" and other shit in whole group xD It generally was very rare. Was - to this wipe. Because this wipe is real disappointment to me. It's normal to expect better and better performance over time, but I used to Tarkov's big leaps back and many small steps forward after, but this seems like a total yeet in the abbys, and only FSR saves the day (MIP streaming don't seem to be gamechanger for me). Didn't play any minute on streets ofc. Generally I've got impression that BSG focused too hard on very-hype new content and very-antihype cheaters and RMT, so hard, that regular players and game itself suffer from negligences in more basic layers and rash decisions. And last remark: I'm aware, that in fact I have too weak computer for EFT, but I don't really care - I developed own ways to play and fight (without camping bushes!) that are suitable for my possibilities, but it's impossible to adapt to enemies that you dont see, don't hear their steps nor shots. Especially when you play few, maybe a dozen raids per week :/
I just want to say your video is amazing and I can't even imagine the amount of work you've put into it, so congrats for making this masterpiece. One thing tho, I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX 1660 Super (which is pretty much like a GTX 1660 Ti) and 16 GB of DDR4 3000 Mhz and I don't get 75fps average on Streets (in fact, I dont get that avg fps in any map).
MCLK - Bog-standard memory module/DIMM frequency UCLK - memory controller frequency. The thing that operates and sends commands to the DDR array. It also abstracts away the 10's to 100's of memory modules into just one big memory pool. It's possible to make this go 1/2 the speed of the memory modules (eg 4000MT/s and 1000MHz controller) FCLK - Infinity Fabric clock. IF is the interconnect/data highway that moves data around different subsystems of the CPU (or CPU-GPU stuff; see Radeon Instinct). Most notably, it connects the CCXs to the memory controller, thus increasing FCLK is vital for memory performance. Starting with ryzen 3000, it's possible to desync the fabric from the memory controller, however desyncing incurs a massive memory performance penalty, so it's worth keeping "1:1:1" for the sake of the best performance.
1080p gaming What would you recommend between i3 12100f, i5 12400f, ryzen 5600 and as gpu 4060, 4060ti, rx 7600, rx 6700xt ? If you play a lot during gameplay the buffer of 4060 will get full and you will get erased broken textures and artefacts? PLEASE HELP ME COMMON!!!!@@taeyeoff
@@Wacky_Tobacky upgraded from the 3700x to the x3D and went from 60 ish fps to 120-130, but im GPU bottlenecked on a rx 6900xt @ 3440x1440p. From 5600x to 5800x3D its about a 30% increase from what Ive seen on youtube for tarkov.
im on a i7-7700 , 1050ti , an 16 gb 2400 mhz ram i average 40-50 (60-70 on labs/factory) on lowest settings, with native res. my game stutters really bad sometimes and fps will drop to 20 or even lower on maps like lighthouse. shoreline, reserve. lots of gunfights are scuffed for me, not all but most. streets is legit unplayable, sometimes i blue screen trying to load in to streets (only streets). i have around 2100 hours on this pc lmao im glad its at least able to run the game but at this point its like playing with weights on. finally upgrading to a new pc soon and its gonna be game changing man
I had a i5 9400f cpu and a 1660ti gpu with 16gb of ram and I had the freezing in gunfights and fps issues sometimes but upgrading to a ryzen 7 2700, 32gb ram and a 6600xt I get much better fps but streets is still really bad as a pmc
6:10 I played with small paging file like 4GB and I had lags and annoying micro stutters. I bumped it to 8 minimum and 12 maximum and game in my case greatly reduced FPS lags ETC. And I have 32GB ram. On way earlier EFT patches I remember having no paging file at all and game was not as bad. BSG does not know how to optimize games. I wonder if there will be ANY benefits for FPS after they go to Unity 2023 as my last hopes are that new Unity engine could help to reduce BSG lack of programing skills. I do not play online at all. I play SPT so AI is on my PC end but what I described above is tests also on live version in offline mode with bots and rare ocasions in online matches as SCAV. I am to lazy but I have bought M.2 SSD 2TB and was one day about to test bigger paging file like lazy BSG sugested in some old tweet to set it to 20-30GB This is damn ridiculous! RAM is faster so why the F&&^ they want us to use huge paging files?! This is only showing that BSG have one of the worst programers in game industry and owner is to damn gready to spent more to hire skilled ones! So he wait for more and more people buy more expensive hardvare to reduce their own lack of skills in optimisation.
I have a I5-13600k @5.6GHz, 32GB DDR 5 memory, good NVME 2 drive, and RTX-3080 and that gets me 70 to 90 fps on Streets with high-ish settings. This was a pretty in cheap build.
We all knew they were lying about requirements. I had 24 gigs of ram at one time and it was still Garbo. I now have 64 gigs purely on the chance I replay Tarkov after 2020.
@@SwissMarksman I think the last time I hard pushed EFT was 2020. A couple small raids here and there, but the game just went downhill. The idea of continuing just doesn’t appeal anymore.
I honestly can't even load streets lmao. Like it just keeps kicking me out when I load in and I lose all my gear. I don't even bother. It sucks to know I'm going to be basically soft locked. With my same setup that worked extremely well the last few wipes.
While they are quite outdated, this is actually perfectly in line with just about Every other game thats been around for roughly the same amount of time. So you could replace "BSG" in the title with a TON of game makers. "Most game companies misleading players - Computer Hardware Conspiracy "
I ran Tarkov with an i9 9900K and a 1080ti, 1440p all setting maxed and got over 60 frames. Upgraded to 3090 and now get more frames now but cpu is holding me back.
Some laptops can run the game fairly well for the most part including older ones. I’ve been playing on one for years before I finally bought an older Pc for cheap and plan to upgrade it, but my laptop could run just about every map at 50-70 fps (factory and labs at 100-120) with only minor stuttering here and there, only map I can’t run is streets and that’s only as of recent as I could run it at 40 fps first few weeks of wipe. For ref. my laptops specs were a GTX 1060, i7 7700, 16 gb of ram although don’t know speeds off top of my head
LMFAO, I was just talking to my friends a few weeks ago about their min system requirements and that they were a joke. I'm on a 1070, i7 7700, with 32gb of ram capped at 2400mhz (sadge), and my system struggles, especially in fuller lobbies with a squad (damn near unplayable)
Let’s not forget that architectural improvements also matter here, you could have a intel core i7 4770K that OC’s to 6ghz and it will still be slower than a i3 13100 that clocks to 4.6. Same with AMD and their r5 5500 compared to a FX9590 that clocks to 5.4ghz oc the architecture differences are massive. It’s not just about clock rates, not all clocks are the same.
All clocks are the same from Intel 6th gen to 11th gen, they are the same arch. Intel ran their 14nm++++++++ till it they absolutely couldn't anymore. Never in my video did I compare frequencies across different architectures. Tldw Intel 14nm needed 4.4ghz to maintain 75hz refresh rate. 10nm needs 4.4ghz to maintain 100hz.
@@taeyeoff I’m well aware of intels tick-tock to tick tick tick woes, but the 6000 series is not the same as 7000 series, ie sky lake to kaby lake, there was still architectural improvements. My point still stands architectures will make a noticeable improvement, I’m not discounting your video, nor your research, I’m simply stating that you would likely benefit greater by using a newer more recent architecture. You could also likely have lower clocked CPU’s from a newer arc that would perform well. For reference my 3900X has very little issues with EFT, I have it paired with ddr4 cl14 3000 MHz memory with tuned timings as Ryzen is still very ram sensitive especially the zen2 3000 series You can see this difference clearly with benchmarks from hardware unboxed, Linus tech tips, gamers nexus, jays2cents etc etc.
the game is unoptimized and ram hungry you need a modern cpu so you can play or you ll experience stutter and freezes every minute or so i noticed it when i spawn and start moving the game is good but when i reach a point where im gonna encounter another player or scavs start spawning the cpu percentage go up and game freeze for 2 or 3 seconds and if you gonna play for a long time you ll find that ram is 15.9 and game become a mess but when i got a new modern setup its like a new game to me no stutters no freezes game is unoptimized as hell
I have a 4 gb gtx1070 and im able to run street barely but mostly my bottle neck seems to be Ram as i have only 16gb. works good offline but online my ram fills up too quickly
I have been told by many that my set up should not be able to play tarkov but i can JUST i have : CPU AMD A10-7890K Radeon R7, 12 Compute Cores 4C+8G 4.20 Mhz : GPU Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2048 mb GDDR 5 : 16.0 GB Ram . i cant play reserve at all i load in with 2 mins on clock and interchange also just as bad and beleive it or not i play streets all day no probs it does take between 8 and 22 mins to load game but with 50 mins in raid time at least i can play i do get low frames but i mainly play scav for something to do i am unemployed gave up job to care for my mum with cancer so i will not be upgrading any time soon . would love to do some pvp but my pc not up to it so ive become streets scav main i am lvl 15 without a single pmc kill . just use the game as my happy place to retire at the end of the day :)
Thank you for putting in the work and you have given me insight to where my computer could run talk off the best but currently my issue is dealing With Crashes That Send me to the bios screen with the error called WHEA uncorrectable error
i had this problem my mother board was touching the case causing a short one of the standoffs was to tight but i would also say if that does not work replace cables make sure all connections are in fully cause its a hardware issue crash then if that does not work 1 by 1 switch parts it would help if you have a computer store near you local repair places usually can help or if you have another working pc
i got a 4790, gtx 1070, 16gb 1600hz ddr3 and an SSD lol. SSD maxing (likely linked to ddr3) I GET CRAZY SPIKES, like 50-60fps then i move 5 steps and RIP stuttering then it loads then its fine again.
4790, gtx 1080, 24gb 1600hz ddr3 and ssd here (pretty similar specs) i also get huge spikes and it's really painful to ADS and looks like the engine for each fire gives aneurisma to my frames - i think it's about the calculation for the bounces. Not to mention the scopes with high ass zoom which caps half the frames.
Mip Streaming doesn't work on my end unfortunately, Ryzen 5 1400 with a rx580 4gb and 16gbs of ram. I wonder what it actually does. Quite odd to watch what it did on task manager though, locked my ram at 5gb usage for tarkov then a unity error popped up loading out of raid
Any tips for rebuilding an Alienware x51 r2 to run tarkov I k ow nothing about this but I have to play this game and I can’t justify a new pc after getting a ps5 recently
Thanks for making this video. I have a decent pc, 16 gigs of ram and still run the game on 30 fps or lower. Idk what to do have tried to optimize the game and run everything on lowest possible setting but still won’t work. Hopefully it gets optimized.
@@blackriptides in other words, you dont even have a Real Gpu, you are using a Vega graphics Apu, You are lucky to get 30 my guy.... You have a decent PC, That needs a Real GPU. You would likely double your FPS even with a crappy 8gb rx580.
@@blackriptides Because your CPU has the GPU built in (called an APU or iGpu on intel), thats using a dedicated portion of your ram to operate. SO you are not actually getting all 16 gigs to use on tarkov. Not to mention Your Apu is doing double duty, where as someone with an actual GPU would have the work split between the two.
So heres the deal Last year My Ryzen system Died due to Our Monopolistic Power company irresponsibility so I reverted to a FM2 system. Specs: AsRock FM2A88-HD+ (Top shelf FM2+) Athlon x4 760k 4 core 4 thread @ 4.4 Ghz all core NB at 2200 Mhz (I can run mine to 4.7 stable but that requires me to Put my Water cooling in I just couldn't be bothered so Antek C400 Air) 2x8 Kingston Fury X 1866 @ 2133Mhz WD Hard drive for extra long enjoyment of loading screens. R9 380 Sapphire NITRO 2GB This Runs on my Freesync LG 23" 75Hz. And on Factory It's a clean 75Fps. And Mid Mixed setting ( textures always on High because I cant be bothered) Woods and other big maps Run Decent around Low 50s to 60s, jumping to 70s in open areas But Have big drops Because of VRAM and the CPU just getting Overloaded when you need to render in Big Blocks of Buildings. So technically you can Run on Such shitty Hardware, but You can run, they didn't say have a playable experience.
So do you have a bit more of a detailed breakdown of the specific graphics settings you ran. When you made the comment on how it runs bad for laptops I was quite surprised due to how it preforms on mine. After I watched last night I ran some raids of my own to check how my system really stacks up. My laptop has a AMD Ryzen 5900hs Rtx3070 16gb 3666crucial ddr4. I ran 5 raids at 1080p on medium/low. After 5 raids my average was 57.8fps with 1% lows of 31.9. My laptop is far from top of the line. But I don't see that as unplayable? The setting I'm worried that may have been left on default is the LOD distance. No matter what tarkov leaves it at 2000m. When 500m is completely satisfactory. It's so rare to be able to have line of sight on targets over 500 meters that it seems ridiculous to leave that so high and had the most impact on my performance when I first started playing
me and my i5 4490 is ratioed to its max lol and idk why i havent upgraded from my wierd 24gb or ddr3 to 32gb. lol so cheap and im so lazy. gtx1660 6gb goes well for me. but im for sure bottlenecked in raid with my slow cpu and slow ram. killer asf video. THANK YOU SO MUCH. for taking your time to do these videos. i5-4490( up ratioed with intel boost on) gtx1660 24gb of ddr3 ram, i get 30-70 frames as pmc on streets. its playable. but not nicely. hoping a budget upgrade to a i7 4790k and 8 more gb of ram will help my frames. also im not on mdot drive yet. reg shit ssd.
I play in 2k, 3070TI 8GbVRam, Ryzen 7 5800x3d and 32Gb DDR4 3000Mhz, in streets i get some FPS drops to 80- some times, and when i use long range Sights i get 40-60 fps average, soo... to improve, i need more VRAm and better speed memory?
8700k 5ghz 16gig 4200mhz rog 1080ti 2000mhz and a 2560x1440 144hz monitor. I have no fps issues on gsync because I'm not a n00b and I set my cas timing better then xmp. If you want to help others, think about what they're running the game as devs. Most likely ECC memory because they don't have time to play around with memory errors because they waste their time on "squads" or what ever they want to call that abomination tarkov cod remake. Some memory will act faster then others at the same frequancy because of this and by tightening the timing and raising the oc you can power through it. THOUGH ddr5 may correct this or just using ECC ram that costs a ton. Run a bench and compare to these, would like to see that outcome. **Also want to point out virtual memory is only good if you have that space and with tarkov enlarged log problem. They could run into an error and bluescreen "kernel heap corruption" while making the problem worse as it logs those errors reducing the drives space. I seen a 21 gig log file and only after deleting to make space fixed the issue**
My friend has 32gb ddr3 1600mhz ram and cant even load into a raid he was able one time to load into a offline raid and he could play just fine. Can someone help?
You're doing gods work. Sadly, games running this bad has been normalized the past decade or so. Everything optimization wise had been downhill after the Witcher. Remember how bad Halo Infinite ran it was disgusting.
Thanks bro! your video saved me so much of time, I'm using the Rx6700xt, Ryzen 3700x, 32gb of ddr4 3200mhz, do you think if i upgrade my cpu to 7800x3d and DDR5 will help in terms of fps??
when a friend asks how much tarkov costs i tell them the price on the website but deep down i know that its a lie. Personally the game has cost me over $1000 due to PC upgrades lmao. For everything else i do (csgo, league, music production & photo editing) my pc is now wayyyy overkill but this one game pushed me to spend a lot of money (a lot for me at least) on pc parts. Its actually atrocious how bad this game runs, even with my current setup i still barely stay at "playable" fps. I dont think ill ever be able to make the most of my monitor's refresh rate in tarkov.
Awesome tests! And how much is the loading loot time of those min spec PCs? Played on 3700X with GT730 always got 5min+ loading. Seems GPU related issue
(I'm not good with PC Parts) Im planning to build a gaming PC, a budget one, but a vaming PC nonetheless. Can my build run EFT on 1080p? AMD Ryzen 5 4500 AMD RX 5500XT 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz 512GB NVME M.2 SSD 1TB HDD
great video put some things into perspective for me. I'm being held back by my gtx 970 but everything else is fine in my pc build for tarkov. Do you have any recomendation on how to make my game look clearer though? Everything passed 75-100 yards is so fuzzy its hard to see. i have a AMD 3700x, 32gigs ddr4 of c18 running at 3466mhz(it wasnt stable running at 3600 and wouldn't post), b450 gaming plus max mobo, gtx 970 with windows and tarky on 970 evo m.2 500gb. any help would be greatly appreciated !
are you playing at 1080p I assume? Assuming that's the case - Higher resolution monitor would make the biggest difference in how the game looks, maybe post FX, and sharpness settings could help but you'll have a tough time running high res on a 970 so there's not going to be much you can do to make it look that much better without upgrading your GPU.

I mean just adjust the system requirements and maybe give refunds if they feel like not being Russians for a day
@@spliffuz2153 so being russian makes you a bad person? Good to know
@OneS I mean historically, yes their country represents war and famine. They aren't the most evil, but they have a history of neglecting and suppressing the voices of people, like am I supposed to feel bad for the Russian people who are going to war with Ukraine? I do but I don't
minimum requirements are for rrunning factory offline with no ai present , its still playing the game right?
@@ones9308 no being Russian makes you an alcoholic, which normally means you’re a bad person
i subbed literally because how much effort you put in! 30 raids with each set up bro i haven't played 60 this wipe
Streets gets as low as 40
Lenovo legion 5. I got the same thing. Runs wonderfully. Even at 60on medium high setting with little stutter
Great video. You could throw in a couple settings that increased my fps dramatically:
1) Check the box for running both the launcher and the game exe as admin.
Bro bro bro plz can u tell your setup, what gpu and memory u have? And how much more fps u got from this life hacks?
“facebook market and a credit card” is my favorite joke, awesome video and glad to see those needing help getting it
Im kinda nerdy when it comes to computer stuff but I learned so much in this video like this for example 6:30 , really great video
i have an AMD 2600X CPU,RX570 and 32 GB RAM and for the past days/ weeks i kept dcing like you did. i always thought that it would be my crappy internet connection, i saw at my connection when scavs/ raiders loaded in, sucks to know, that i now need a new CPU and motherbord just to play tarkov again.
after activating XMP my PC started bluescreening randomly, so i turned that off again.
very informative video. thanks for the 100+ raids you redid after the update. i would have done 3 again and shipped it lol
i played my first couple wipes with r5 1500x, 16gb @2400 and a gtx970
It was definitely playable but I had to stick to woods/customs and would lag really hard anytime i tried to use a tac30 or vudu
i think i was ranging between bout 50-55 fps on woods with a decent bit of stuttering, pretty shitty without gsync (1920x1080, lowest settings)
I still played the game A LOT and really enjoyed it so your minimum requirements are very accurate.
My current PC is pretty much exactly what you put down for recommended, r5 3600, 32gb @3200, 2060 super 8gb
also really accurate, i stay at the 75fps mark a majority of the time on med settings
That was a really impressive video! Congrats my men. But I have to say a few things:
- That is on the worst scenario, worst performing map in first minutes (which is good, but bad at the same time)
- In my opinion you dont need that much gpu power, played recently on rx5500m getting always above 60 fps on 1080 native, and I have friends with bad gpus playing pretty well. Even integrated 680m can 1080 the game decently. The only problem is vram though
- Thats without using fsr2, which can be activated always and should be enabled specially on minimum requierments hardware
- Minimum requirements are usually set for 30+fps on lower than 1080 anyway...
@@crisnmaryfam7344 then I will add further examples with Marauders, and Ground Branch. Glitches ≠ raw performance.
@@crisnmaryfam7344 Yeah, beta for 6 years, hardest cope I've seen today.
i have a friend that played tarkov on a system about as bad as the minimum requirements for years, only thing was he had 2gbs of vram instead of 1. he played the game like that and was able to get around 40 fps at all low 1080p on all maps, listen i have absolutely no idea how he did it either
I liked the idea for the game and was also amazed by STALKER series, so I promised myself that one day I'll buy beta pass, so I had to be ready anytime ;)
Almost exactly 3 years ago I've bought my standard pass and launched the game with my i7 4720HQ (2,6÷3,6GHz), GTX 960M (4GB) and 8GB of RAM, but I just had to rise it to 16 GB (CL9 but only 1666MHz - motherboard limit). Compared to official requirements doesn't look so bad, huh?
Because EFT is only game I play and I don't play so much I also don't feel strong urge to buy new PC, so I'm playing on the same device to this day xD
Yea, it's hard, close gunfights often becomes slideshow, so while people are afraid of pocketwatch, delivery from the past or pendrives at the beggining of the wipe, my true nemesis and biggest roadblock is Friend From the West pt. 1
I won't tell you how much FPS I've got, because I don't know xD I dont want to run any unnecessary programs and also ingame fps counter will_lower_your_fps_nikitalaugh.avi
2 years ago I've bought EOD and I don't regret xD
Idk, maybe I'm masochist (also wipe with 20 lvl to flea was one of my favourites haha), but aren't we all? ;)
One my friends wanted to play one day, but he just get rid of his PC, so he did a zombie with old parts (I thinks specs was similiar to "minimal") and even most maps couldn't even load there were some successful raids on factory and woods :D
Funny part is that major part of the time I played with UNDERclocked CPU and disabled boost (so max 2,6 GHz) because I found it optimal - heat became more important than anything else, but I no longer do that since few patches and lazy make-shift cooling upgrade by own idea (there was days that I was able to run 2 and sometimes quick scav before cpu completely throttled so I had to do breaks or manualy throttle cpu for in-stash time that I sometimes forgot to undo while going to raid hehe).
Yeah upgrading from a 580 to a 3060 did nothing on my side, ive only see some stability and +10-25fps when i upgraded from 16gb to 32gb ram.
I can't imagine doing over 100 raids with horrendous FPS. Thank you for sacrificing your sanity to inform us.
Well done everytime you make a video I always find it insightful
i was planing to buy the game, thanks to you i think i just doged a bullet
I just want to say your video is amazing and I can't even imagine the amount of work you've put into it, so congrats for making this masterpiece.
One thing tho, I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX 1660 Super (which is pretty much like a GTX 1660 Ti) and 16 GB of DDR4 3000 Mhz and I don't get 75fps average on Streets (in fact, I dont get that avg fps in any map).
aim for 3400-3600mhz memory 32gb and uclk 1:1
@@taeyeoff FCLK is the main thing. but yes 1 to 1 is what you want. Anything else is to big of a loss.
MCLK - Bog-standard memory module/DIMM frequency
UCLK - memory controller frequency. The thing that operates and sends commands to the DDR array. It also abstracts away the 10's to 100's of memory modules into just one big memory pool. It's possible to make this go 1/2 the speed of the memory modules (eg 4000MT/s and 1000MHz controller)
FCLK - Infinity Fabric clock.

Careful suggesting the gtx 970 because it have enough vram. There was controversy when the card came out cuz it only has 3.5gb of the fast stuff
That card is definitely good enough I had one for a long time
Nah dw with the fake 500mb is basically high speed MIP streaming
For reference my 3900X has very little issues with EFT, I have it paired with ddr4 cl14 3000 MHz memory with tuned timings as Ryzen is still very ram sensitive especially the zen2 3000 series
You can see this difference clearly with benchmarks from hardware unboxed, Linus tech tips, gamers nexus, jays2cents etc etc.

i got a 4790, gtx 1070, 16gb 1600hz ddr3 and an SSD lol.

WD Hard drive for extra long enjoyment of loading screens.
R9 380 Sapphire NITRO 2GB
This Runs on my Freesync LG 23" 75Hz.
And on Factory It's a clean 75Fps. And Mid Mixed setting ( textures always on High because I cant be bothered)
Woods and other big maps Run Decent around Low 50s to 60s, jumping to 70s in open areas But Have big drops Because of VRAM and the CPU just getting Overloaded when you need to render in Big Blocks of Buildings.
Does tarkov using up all 12gb of my vram on 3080 ti in 1440p an issue?
I would not recommend playing Tarkov at all under 32gb
@@mrfamilyfriendly4370 he talking about his gpu...
If youre not noticing any hitching or frame drops that'll mess up your gun fights then it don't matter
64gb minimum
usually eats up my vram as well.
What is "PAge filing"? thanks!
My friend has 32gb ddr3 1600mhz ram and cant even load into a raid he was able one time to load into a offline raid and he could play just fine.
Can someone help?
nikita : "guys the game is in constant progress of optamization, we are working on it".
"Soon™ the game will be out and playable"...
bsg is using our GPU and CPU to mine crypto
5+ min loading is normal, you can run the game with a gt730 but you will se improvements with a better cpu
all this is awesome data, keep in mind we play with friends and streaming their screens on discord- which leaves me fps in the TEENS on streets.
(I'm not good with PC Parts) Im planning to build a gaming PC, a budget one, but a vaming PC nonetheless. Can my build run EFT on 1080p?
AMD Ryzen 5 4500
AMD RX 5500XT
16GB DDR4 3200Mhz
512GB NVME M.2 SSD
1TB HDD
So im looking to build a gaming PC. Would a Ryzen 5600x with a 3060 12gb gpu and 16 gigs of ram be decent on Tarkov?
double your ram make sure its 3200mhz+
@taeyeoff I appreciate it. I've now convinced myself to just get a RTX6750xt gpu and will definitely double the ram
great video put some things into perspective for me.
Add Tarkov.exe to Nvidia Control Panel, Manage 3D Settings, then apply an image scaling filter and add some sharpness, I use 40%.
are you playing at 1080p I assume? Assuming that's the case - Higher resolution monitor would make the biggest difference in how the game looks, maybe post FX, and sharpness settings could help but you'll have a tough time running high res on a 970 so there's not going to be much you can do to make it look that much better without upgrading your GPU.
ill try this out, ty brotha
yeah 1080p, it just looks foggy passed a certain range and even in the menu the cursor looks a bit fuzzy, it's strange.
if performance isnt an issue then turning up object lod to 2.5-3 and overall visibility to 1000-1500 might help
are those specs you tested and recommended still relevant?
