Thats why we're running pm/ppsh rounds as they have around 50% chance to pen on first shot for LL2 rounds.

I've been a kedr fan for several wipes but the SMGs feel too good with the 2x for me to go without, and PST seems to deal well enough with soft armor at high RPM for me to want to trade in the suppressor+2x to run PMM
klin (psv) and ppsh (lrnpc). leg meta / blunt damage not what used to be, but rate of fire is insane, it gets the job done if you dont whiff too much. for point fire the RFB (FMJ) and AKMs (PS) are working for me, transitioning from lvl2 to lvl3 traders.
I still prefer 5.56x45 warmage it is basically a quakemaker round that cost 50rub on the flee. If you use hk 416, all tho the gun may cost you a little, on the longer run is cheaper then the smg, the quake maker round is quite expensive compared with warmage while they both have simlar stat(same damge and simlar pen)
Your comment about the craft for SOST doesn't make sense to me since you can buy it on flea and you make significantly more money crafting wires which means you can easily buy the ammo in much greater quantities with the money made from the craft. And if you're going for hideout leveling the SOST craft still makes no sense since there are waaaay shorter crafts to alternate between.
Ppl sleeping on that aug a3 better stats all around stock 43 vert and 70+ ergo all need is suppressor and sight way cheaper and shoot faster then m4 for way less
Once you hit mechanic Level 3 your SMG build options are pretty much all viable. Kedr-B for that leg meta rat-action. MP5 for the SAS Larping and slap action. MPX for a plug and play 9mm laserbeam, 41 rounders are crazy good. MP7 for those who can't be bothered to make a full-sized M4 build but still want the firepower. PP-19 for those whom find the AKs to be barbaric and uncivilized. MP9-N for the people that want the Glock 18C as a primary weapon. PPSh for the homies that are tired of jamming. SR-2M for those that haven't unlocked the MP7 30 round mags. The Kriss Vectors for people who haven't built their gym yet. P90 for people who really love packing mags. UMP for people that put way too much faith in .45 FMJ STM-9 for nobody like seriously nobody uses this gun.

I just don't like 9x19, the ammo used to be weak because the guns are strong but current recoil makes all smgs equal so I'd rather shoot 9x18

Decent 5.56 is much more annoying to acquire reliably this wipe.
5.45 is just everywhere, like always, and 7.62 you get from scavs.
rpm is king when it comes to low recoil metas, no sort of modding will get you fire rate
