If you think about it in the way of the Lego, all the plane had to do to NOT get flooded was not opening the door. If they didn’t do that the wouldn’t have been flooded and they could’ve waited for help.
The fact that the plane didn’t sink and kept floating despite all of his attempts was really insane.
