Those who really know me know I love listening to foreign music. The second foreign band I ever fanned for was The Gazette. (1. Tokio Hotel, 2. The Gazette, 3. Gackt and 4. L'Arc~en~Ciel). To hear that Reita died yesterday was a blow. The Gazette really made me appreciate the instrumentals of a song. I was just bangin their album last week so it's crazy that I won't hear him play the bass again. (to paint a scene, a girl from my hood put me on cause limewire was the truth back then. I was blown away by the composition and just transcended. Baretta is the best song though)
I remember listening to this song often in the fall back of 2010. Made me feel confident. I'll never forget the feeling, because I feel it even now as I listen again.
Rest in Paradise, Reita. You did so well in life. I truly believe I'd see you live one day.

If I remember correctly. This song and Calm Envy are both about Reila. And Calm Envy is in my opinion one of the greatest love songs I've ever heard. And every time I listen to this song, it's hard to not hear the pain in Ruki's voice. And it is because Ruki never fails to sing with passion, and Reita, Kai, Aoi, Uruha's incredible musicianship that Gazette is one of my favorite and will always be one of my favorite bands.
