Strange to think how different their music style is now compared to when this was released. Don't get me wrong, their new songs are bloody great (heck, I listen to Falling at least 3 times a day), but these old songs still resonate with me in a way their newer songs don't
I think that, to be fair in this kind of comparisons, we should compare similar songs. Ninth has a ballad called Sono Koe Wa Moroku and I really thought of Pledge while listening to it, because it made me feel the same way. They are different, but it's the same type of track: a super sad romantic ballad. But I have this feeling too, sometimes, that their style is changing.. Just don't really think it has changed that much, there's still some traces of that style in the new songs.
2021 here--I don't really like their new songs at all. Too much screaming. Filth in the Beauty was probably the most screaming I could handle. I miss these ballads. I loved Chizuru and my all-time favorite: Cassis.

I grew up, now im 25 and I will never be grateful enough for all the emotions transmitted through the texts and the musical notes played. Reita, you were and will remain the greatest bassist Japan has ever known, thanks to the GazettE, to Reita for all this. My first ever Visual Kei band and they will still always be on top. Ruki's voice is incredible but after hearing Uruha and Aoi synchronizing their solos the first time I heard it, pure harmonious melody for this song. GAZERock is not dead!!

I know it's about love but whenever I feel sad and tired I just close my eyes and listen to this, it feels like a consolation to me, it feels like I'm being understood and the last part urges me to get back into life and live to enjoy everything I have...
