Done!
I know now one thought of this, but it's very stupid of F1 to allow so many drivers to fly in one jet. God forbid it crashed.
They don’t give afk about net zero… it’s greenwash to avoid opposition PURE AND SIMPLE
considering how much F1 talk about Net Zero, a private jet and heli for each driver seems insanely counter intuitive
they could travel like just one footbal team
Best comment here!
Yeah I didn't believe Hamilton sold his to help the planet. He just rents one now.
@@SupremeUnicorn yeah, they all live in Monaco. Save location
You want them to catch the #11 bus? Envy is a such a pitiful character trait . . .
Great to see the current F1 drivers doing thier bit to get to net zero by 2123
Especially since Lewis lectures us on just how oppressed black people are in the UK and America. I can see all the torture he suffers, in a jet set lifestyle
@PandaHunt How can I,? I am watching all this from my African hit in the Congo
Are any of you actually surprised that the netzero talk is just hollow virtue signaling?
Lulu is such a fraud.
it's a facade, just like the rest of the globalist Net Zero Agenda. Communism for thee, capitalism for me.
2 words...carbon offsetting.
Me watching my paper straw dissolve as the hundreds of F1 crew members each take their own private jet to the same exact destination
aren't their headquarters in England all only like 30 kilometres apart? they could rent out a 747 to take together. this is so wasteful. and publicly they all spew their net neutrality bullshit. sure.
2 words....carbon offsetting.
Also, what's single used plastic got to do with it?
@@MsPinkwolf carbon offset just gives people an excuse to pollute more, in addition to how all those "carbon offset" programs way over estimate their savings.
@@rainonedavid3564 oh hush. You just want to criticise everything.
@@MsPinkwolf Tell me how those boots taste
if only i also had a private jet so i could play my part to help the environment
You could meet your friends in Davos ever winter, to plan the world economy so we all share equally in saving the Planet.
Luckily F1 cars have V6s instead of NA V8s haha its ridiculous..nice video:)
Exactly my thoughts...thanks god that the f1 cars that are running limited amount anyways are downsizing...
And more races every season to save the planet!
They dropped V10 engines despite of this happening on every race weekend...
Looks nice and sustainable
As long as plebs like us stop using fuel, more fuel for these rich hypocrites to use = perfectly sustainable for the next 500 years 😉
@@dereksbookshow much of your carbon footprint do you offset?
......and they tell me to switch off my tv at night, drive an electric car or drive less. This is so abhorrent.
Yeah, but the people telling you to do that all travel in private jets and helicopters, you’re the idiot that does what they tell you without questioning if it’s so bad why don’t they do the same lol
Toto's and Max' jets are insane
Nah, glorified buses with wings
Love Max’ hey it’s gorgeous
Max’ jet is so cringey 😂
@@leonardorossini2505 Judging from your previous comments, it wouldn’t matter what Max did or drove, you’re hate and bias would preclude any rationality from your comment.

Also F1, helicopters, private jets and jumbo jets schlepping them all around the planet.
Ah, so they should walk home 🥲🤔

I think most of them would prefer it without all the eco-green stuff and be happy just to be left to get on with racing. (Apart from Hamilton, jumps on every trendy bandwagon, of course!).
With such a tight calendar, they do not have any better option than flying in private jets. And they won't replace real Racing by sim Racing

So Lewis here's the thing, you may have sold your own personal jet to save the planet...but if your still using private jets it doesn't work.

This is my new favourite video in the history of the world ever. Good work
Subbed. Pretty cool video.

Nice job
Super awesome for F1's "NETZERO" goals 👏
The alternative would be pretty funny... All the drivers getting in line alongside regular people waiting for a Ryanair flight back to some airfield in the middle of nowhere where they have to get in line again to get a bus home.
Or NOT Ryan air, and regular airlines, with lounges and places to wait relatively privately. This is absolute nonsense.

Hey, but at least they are saving the planet ! 🙄🙄
Max's jet is sexy.
Very I am surprised he doesn't fly his own jet
@@lornapotgieter9024. I bet he would love to fly it himself but the team probably has it written in his contract that he cannot! 😅
Absolutely insane that they need to be brought to Schiphol airport from Zandvoort by a private helicopter. It's like a 15 - 20 minute drive tops. And why the hell can't they all board one big plane since they all live in Monaco anyway?
cause then you have to waste 2 hours at the airport doing check in and safety
2 less cylinders and a turbo will off set all of that!
How much budget cap is used for jet fuel and semi gas / shipping costs for the trucks /cars?
I have no problem with F1 drivers/principals who don't pretend being green and don't cry about climate change etcetera and own a privat jet. I do have a problem with them who do though, like Hamilton and Vettel.
but they don't have a problem with you.
hey mate, just wondering if you know where lewis and max usually land when in melbourne? cuz i wanted to take some pictures with them but i cant figure out which airport they go to
usually Melbourne International, but last time Max was the only one flying in Private.
Uber wealthy sport saying its going "green" when the team principals and drivers have private jets... LOL I will never understand society
But your limitations are personal so no need to take it out on others
The team principals and the drivers aren't the ones who make decisions on these things - that's the F1 ruling body.
I think most of them would prefer it without all the eco-green stuff and be happy just to be left to get on with racing. (Apart from Hamilton, jumps on every trendy bandwagon, of course!).
You couldn't make it up!
The reason for them "going green" is driven by the car companies/auto-industry that back the sport; they are the ones who benefit from F1 becoming more sustainable, in that they will profit from applying the technological advancements that F1 delivers to future road cars (and to other disciplines of motorsport), the environmental benefit of which could actually be significant.
they didn't say they are going green to save the world. going green is global politics. nothing to do with saving the world because last time i checked, the atmospheric composition of co2 is only 0.04%. not even 1% or 0.1% but 0.04% how does that affect atmospheric temperatures? oh and by the way i also checked the density of co2 and found out it is higher than those of n2 and o2 which make up 78% and 21% respectively. this means co2 sinks to the ground and doesn't go up to the top of the atmosphere to block any rays as they claim. it's all a pack of lies. all energy equations include the total mass of particles involved and the mass of co2 is negligible.
tell your friends to stop lying to the kids about the environment.
No matter how you look at it, there is no excuse for each F1 driver having their own plane or helicopter ride, even Toto Wolff has his own jet
Right. Imagine how much (environment) would be saved if they were all transported in the same jet? It's still a private jet, so you could not make the argument that it's not safe. Because the general public is so dangerous of course :) But us peasants just have to deal with that when we think about our vacation trip every 5 years.
So long as non of these racing drivers don't try to lecture me on being green and saving the planet.
all just trying to beat that 2030 Net Zero aye...
Big flex
didn't see Lewis "taking the knee" before boarding.
It is nice.
The carbon footprint of the F1 teams is just ridiculous
Co2 is the gas of life

I though Hamilton was all for the environment ??

Bit confused, you stated in the last video that Albon travelled with Horner, didn't see that here?
yes that was 2022, 2023 he flew different

LXSCO is alonso. I think he took Alex and Bottas with him.
The vistajet to Bologna was likely Fred Vasseur + more Ferrari crew (they arrived like that)

@@julianr.7186 Other wealthy people brainwash them into 'the agenda '
Oh shut up! He does what he wants, not what you say, stop picking him apart, that’s getting old and senseless 👎🏼
The fuck are you talking about...? Try some facts instead:
-Hamilton sold his jet.
-He stopped driving any of his supercars (sold all his ICE cars) and made his personal vehicle a Mercedes EQ. Directs his contracted Merc promotional work towards specifically Mercedes' EVs.
-Insists on any prearranged airport chauffeurs to be EV if possible.
-Invested in Extreme E and has his own team there.
-Carbon offset his entire career since 2007. Now, purchased carbon credits are controversial but at least he tried on this front.
-Eliminated single use plastics in his household and Mercedes workspaces.
-Similar to Seb's underwater Miami thing, he uses his public platform to talk about deforestation, waterway depletion and pollution, and industrial agriculture.
-Went vegan.
-Was involved in the overall Mercedes F1 team decision to make their travel slightly more green (sustainable jet fuel, biofuel for land freight, carbon credits and offsets again). They claimed they reduced emissions by 89% when comparing 2022 to 2021 triple header.
-Voiced support for the Just Stop Oil protestors being people "fighting for the planet" even though for obvious reasons he was not onboard with their tactics.
| "Climate change is a serious threat: every one of us has the responsibility to protect our future and the future of the next generation. With the industry I'm in, I'm always going to receive negative attention, but we don't have to be perfect to be part of the solution. As a powerful voice in my industry, I have a responsibility to effect change from within Formula 1 as well as all the other activities in which I am involved." -- Sir Lewis Hamilton |
Literally the same ideology people were praising Sebastian for when he went on question time and stuck to his guns despite the Canadian political backlash.
I never understood what my friends meant when they said there are double standards for Hamilton, until I joined the F1 internet/social media community.
‘Good on them’ says Lewis to the Just Stop Oil protesters. As he boards his private jet while looking down his nose at the serfs such as you and me, toiling away day in and day out underneath all of our ‘privilege’ that he suffers ‘without.’
I can respect the others such as Max and Fernando. They make no apologies and don’t pretend to care. They’re genuine. They’re racers who just so happen to be reluctant famous people not celebrities. Who I don’t respect is the arrogant celebrity who happens to be halfway decent at racing. The one who cares about fashion, his A List ‘friends’, his Met Galas and sparkly gown/suits, his weaponization of victimhood (as if he’s some kind of victim), his ‘I feel so vulnerable’ when someone else is burning up in a fire, his…disingenuousness.
Who ARE these people who support him?!! Surely not every British person is sucked into this web of fakeness? There’s other British drivers to cheer for! Do you think Lewis gives a single duck about the average Brit? He can’t stand you! You’re ‘an oppressor’ to him!
Makes a bit of a joke of cost caps and saving a few litres of fuel to be "green".
and yet Lewis tells me my car is killing the planet OKAY PAL
9:53 was that last guy DC?
Disgusting image of how green F1 is.
No they love what they do. That give sense to be strong
..it's how I expected them to travel, the origin of the sport has always been high end and these guys are millionaires and this is more than likely the best way to give them security in travel, but the sport has always been elite, hence some of the paddock entry prices of $10,000 or more...
Very eco friendly 😂

What a shame in terms of sustainability
So glad I washed that can of beans before recycled it

@@robertstallard7836 Many of them debrief after the race and during back to back races they train/gather data on the sim the week prior. Their reserve driver is at the factory doing sim work leading up to the race so that they have as good a setup as possible for Practice 1. Most of them also do video calls now to discuss team issues/performance but you can tell a lot about the lives of these drivers through social media now. Max and Lando were in Monaco the last couple of days and so you can assume the others do the same thing too. They all fly private anyway so it's not like they need to be ready for a commercial flight. As long as they show up right before what they're contractually obligated to be there for they're fine.
