fantastic and interesting lot this week....Happy holidays to you Extremely interesting Hong Kong card....I feel the gentleman got one heck of a deal on that one!!
I know nothing about postcards apart from when we travel we still send our grandchildren postcards. But I’m fascinated by your video and found it very entertaining. Loved the history aspect of your channel. Happy New Year.
Thanks so much! They are getting harder and harder to find postcards when traveling these days. Even Walt Disney World down here in FL offers few cards for sale anymore. Check out some of my other videos and be sure to subscribe!
Sometime in the next month could you please explain who postcard collectors are? And why are they willing to spend so much on these interesting postcards? Will they be able to sell their collection for thousands of dollars? Why are these cards worth so much?
@@Mr.Howell postcard collecting is one of the top three hobbies and combines history, art, postal history etc into a fun hobby. Cards can be bought for just 10 cents or sell for hundreds of dollars. Many of these cards had low production numbers and some are one of a kind. I've spent over $20,000 on postcard purchases in 2024 and my sales should more than double that figure. There are sellers and collectors in ever US state as well as around the globe. There are postcard clubs, shows, auctions and conventions. Collections are bought and sold all the time.
@@Mr.Howell you have to research each card using sales comps on eBay, making sure you use "sold" only. Other than that there is Worthpoint and other sites to look up comps for your card before you list it for sale
@@suyesmith the volume is really loud when I watch it on my end. I've switched to a wireless microphone now on my collar so should hopefully be sounding better
Yes sir.....I was wondering if you can help me sell my vintage postcards or how to get a better knowledge of what it's worth. Thanks in advance for any assistance you may provide.
Merry Chrismas and Happy Holidays! Hope you enjoy seeing what sold for me last week.

I have about 40,000 vintage postcards from Minnesota dated 1890's to 1903. Can you help me sell my postcards?
