The ranger is rapidly becoming a real favorite to me. The fact that it was your Grandma's is one of the things I love about it. As is the case with all the work you do, it's going to be better than new. Thanks Sarah.
That frame is cleaner, and painted more thoroughly than new trucks. I have to say Sarah, knowing you're building vehicles that mean a lot to you, makes your channel great. Your personal attachment really shows!
"Mind your p's and q's comes from the printing trade. Typesetters had a large tray of cast lead type to set up printing, and the lead is reversed from the image it will print. So p and q are easily confused, especially if an apprentice had mixed up sorting the type. If you've never seen an original Linotype type casting machine, or seen hot lead type cast, you'd find it fascinating. Especially the pots of molten lead, which look dangerously like pots of clear cool water.
As a 17 year old I worked for the Wall Street Journal Midwest Edition office in Chicago. Most fascinating watching the typesetters operating that Line-O-Type machine with that big ingot of lead hanging and being melted into the machine. Good times. I love that Ranger already. Subscribed
I was under the impression it came from somewhere different. I was told that it meant mind your Pints and Quarts (in a pub setting) meaning to behave while drinking.
Your p’s and q’s explanation is correct to the best of my knowledge. There were contrary ideas advanced on this but I’ve been around both Linotype machines and metal type. FYI Linotype metal is a lead alloy that’s somewhat harder than lead. 👍🏽
1:35 thank you for being a good example and leaving the guard on your angle grinder. Another channel modding an XJ removed it and managed to result in injuries, and still treated it like this was normal.
You're perfect! You like Rangers, Isuzu Impulse's and can recite Vanilla Ice while fixing a frame in Daisy Duke shorts and long nails, and you have a very, very, very clean shop, which the majority of You Tubers don't have clean shops, just awesome! I'm actually looking for a Ranger build myself, thank you for the inspiration!
You're one the few RUclipsrs that make me smile almost continually throughout your videos. And yes, that bracket's going to bother you, as will the rusty torx(?) bolt... What innuendo? We're all adult here. We know what thing are ribbed for.
your detours into other topics are so amazing. I get lost sometimes and have to rewind and watch it again because I think that I blacked out but then I realize nope it Sarah.
Happy Sunday Sarah!!! I was a car handler at Jim Clicks back when those Rangers were new. That color seemed to stand out on those and the similarly colored Mustangs. The inside of yours is a total time warp. Stay excellent!!!😎
I like what the fella said about printing, and I'v heard it to be ''Mind your pints and quarts. A reference to the hobby of alcohol consumption, and not over doin it. Love your channel Thanks for sharing.
I love your videos because you build the vehicle if it came from the factory and it a longtime you didn't do a detailed one keep doing a great job beautiful
Wow, I wish I could have seen this back in March when I replaced the radius arms, springs and shocks on my 97 Ranger. Yours is so much cleaner and you can see everything with out the body on it, or the hubs attached. It looks great so far!
I got a bone to pick with you. I just remembered that you have an Amazon store link I used it months ago and completely forgot since. Sorry, I won't say how much I have ordered during that period of time.. To the point... I just created a link on my bookmarks bar to your store and who pops up with a link to a new episode? Letting you know how much some have you living in their heads rent free. The reason I saw your notice is do to an Amazon email to inform me that the remainder of my last order had just landed on my front porch. The bone is... occasionally, every once in a while, from time to time, every so often, just remind folks that your Amazon stor has a link in the discription so stroke victims like me won't forget. Amazing video production as ever... can't say that enough. That assembly content is pure ASMR gold.
I was taught mind your p’s and q’s was an old Navy term, barkeeps would mark a p or q for pints or quarts while the ship was in port and the Sailors would have to square up before leaving.
This Ranger is my favorite project to date! My dad bought an 84 new and I inherited it from him in 93 when he passed. I kept it five years, sold it to my best friend who drove the wheels off it. I really miss it. Great work Sarah!
This has been another great video, Sarah. Well done, and the Ranger frame looks great and the truck is going to look super nice when you get done . Your grandmother will be up there looking down smiling and saying that's my Sarah, go girl . I have to say it again, your an amazing woman, Sarah . I love how that you put so much detail into every thing that you work on and I have to say that I am a lot like that myself . If it's worth doing, then it's worth doing right and to the best of my ability . So I will see you later and always enjoy doing, doing what your doing, just being Sarah . Best wishes with the Ranger, till you get truck rebuild finished, and you can stand back, look at it and smile and be proud of what that you have just accomplished and dedicate it to your grandmother . As always, Jeffrey !!!
P & Q's old English bar tabs: P = pints Q= quarts, minding you Ps and Qs was to settle your bar tab. could be apocryphal. but as beer lover I'm going with it!!!
Always a joy to see your "hootenheisers and accoutrements"! Great progress on the frame and suspension reassembly. I have never seen this kind of work done before, especially with clean like new parts. This truck is going to drive like it's right off the assembly line!
I just snagged myself a brand new set of Bilstein for the Subaru they were specked out from race comp with special valving it took me like two years to find these struts that will fit my legacy! I’m excited !
Sarah you do excellent work! A true professional. That Ranger is going to look almost as awesome as you! I thoroughly love your videos keep up the excellent work. I try to watch every one of your episodes. Stay safe, healthy and have a wonderful week 🌹🇺🇸✌️
Note to Sarah .... on your front shocks, where is the rubber grommets and curved washers that are installed on both sides? Upper and lower rubber grommets and curved washers is what your missing to take up the slack in the shock stem......
My friend had an Isuzu I-Mark Turbo which came before the Impule. That was the first 5 speed manual turbo engine that I drove and that Lotus suspension was nice. Drove real well and it was a quick little car.
I know you're working your tail off but you make it seem like you're having so much fun! Not like me dropping a fuel tank earlier today. Wasn't hard to do .....I'm just..... old...... and out of shape..............Everything hurts!!........ Love how the work on the Ranger is coming along! Thanks for allowing me to watch; I feel like I'm part of something!
I use "accoutrements" almost every day to describe parts and accessories. "P's and Q's"; because kids, when learning to write, would mix up their lower-case p's and q's. Those Isuzu/Lotus cars were killer. SO much fun to drive! Thanks, Sarah! ✌️❤️🙂
Hi Sarah. I owned almost the same truck, only mine was a 98 Mazda. I miss the gas milage, should have kept it. I rebuilt the engine. It had spun bearings due to a stripped oil pump drive gear. I polished the crank and installed Teflon bearings. I put forty thousand mil s on it and it ran great, but it was to small to pull my camper. P.S. Thanks for the great videos.
I have a 2002 4Runner project that is exactly the condition of ur ranger but all mechanics i’ve spoke to said it was too much work. So i shall live vicariously through your vids till i have the time to take the leap. Admire your workwomanship as always!
The Ranger Things pun was very funny, cleverly referring to the fantastic show, "Stranger Things". It becomes even funnier when you realize that Sarah spent some of the time of this video "Upside Down", checking part and bolt placement on the Ranger. As they said on "Jurassic Park", "clever girl". Well done, Sarah!
You are my favorite rebuilder on RUclips because you take the time to clean and paint your parts and assemblies as you go. Keep up all the great work.
There’s a few others out there, Bad Obsession Motorsports and Tommyfyeah take the time to build cars thoroughly.
Your attention to detail… I have much respect!
The ranger is rapidly becoming a real favorite to me. The fact that it was your Grandma's is one of the things I love about it. As is the case with all the work you do, it's going to be better than new. Thanks Sarah.
I could watch this all day.
Sarah is probably the best and most meticulous mechanic I’ve ever seen! great attributes when working on and rebuilding cars!!
Your attention to detail is impeccable
You are a great presenter and know your stuff. Thank you
That frame is cleaner, and painted more thoroughly than new trucks. I have to say Sarah, knowing you're building vehicles that mean a lot to you, makes your channel great. Your personal attachment really shows!
"Hootenheisers" love it! You are doing a fantastic job on this restoration! Much respect !
Document while you disassemble is rule #1...
Love your attention to detail.
Great channel.. thanks

Also, mind your P's and Q's was use aboard ships in reference to a sailor's allotment (pints and quarts) of ale.
Actually as told by a woman to me it stands for 'P*ssy Quivers`.
Your p’s and q’s explanation is correct to the best of my knowledge. There were contrary ideas advanced on this but I’ve been around both Linotype machines and metal type. FYI Linotype metal is a lead alloy that’s somewhat harder than lead. 👍🏽
It's sunday morning, and again you've brightened my day. Thanks Sarah...😊🌷
The dreaded frame swap! Sarah one thing is for sure, you are not afraid of hard work. So admirable. ❤️🙏🍀
All right stop, collaborate and listen, Sarah is back with her brand new invention.
All new is the Best when you put it all together. Makes a lot of fun
Your videos are always so joyful! You often say that you work all the time but you love what you do.I think that's important in life.
i forgot to say , THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE last week
Thanks
Your channel is atractive to many people because of your dedication, and is eye-pleasing bc of your beauty. A fan of Sarah Reagan.
Basic assembly is so much more when Sarah is doing it. It's the narrative and humor.
Sarah n' Tuned: Making car content and updating us on her nails, love it.
And they're real!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
1:35 thank you for being a good example and leaving the guard on your angle grinder.
Another channel modding an XJ removed it and managed to result in injuries, and still treated it like this was normal.
Seeing the MAINE plate makes me happy. Lived in Maine my while life.

That is going to look SO nice once it's done. No cutting corners on this job. Way to go.
I just enjoy watching your videos, and listening to you. I'm in aw with you and way you communicate to fans. You are awesome!
You're one the few RUclipsrs that make me smile almost continually throughout your videos.
And yes, that bracket's going to bother you, as will the rusty torx(?) bolt...
What innuendo? We're all adult here. We know what thing are ribbed for.
I was really surprized that you left that Torx bolt!
Now that's attention to detail......eye shadow matches the Ranger's paint. 🔥
Thanks for uploading. Super fun and informative watch. Making my 05 ranger feel a bit more accessible.
It's a beautiful day in Tucson
Thank You Sarah.
your detours into other topics are so amazing. I get lost sometimes and have to rewind and watch it again because I think that I blacked out but then I realize nope it Sarah.
Lol 😂
P&Q's. Your Please (P's) and Thank Q's (You)....or basic manners, that's what my mum told me! Thank you Sarah, more content please.😀 🇬🇧
Excellent progress. Amazing sunset. Thanks. UK.
Not sure why but your videos make me happy, Thanx!
Happy Sunday Sarah!!!
I was a car handler at Jim Clicks back when those Rangers were new. That color seemed to stand out on those and the similarly colored Mustangs. The inside of yours is a total time warp.
Stay excellent!!!😎
The full size trucks of that color seem to be highly sought after these days.
Great job Sarah
I had a 1991 Geo Storm GSI. Loved that car! I had so much fun driving that car
You MUST innuendo everything!
Been loving your time lapse\filler music in the last few videos ! Makes me smile and feel happy ! 😁
I like the "pints" and "quarts" explanation.
I like what the fella said about printing, and I'v heard it to be ''Mind your pints and quarts. A reference to the hobby of alcohol consumption, and not over doin it. Love your channel Thanks for sharing.

It's coming along nicely Sarah. Grandma would be so proud to know what you are doing to her Ranger.
I admire the amount of time and work that you do.♥️
Yeah, I noticed you look rested and also noticed, you always look amazing. Not that I was lookin or anything.
Wow, I wish I could have seen this back in March when I replaced the radius arms, springs and shocks on my 97 Ranger. Yours is so much cleaner and you can see everything with out the body on it, or the hubs attached. It looks great so far!
Hey Sarah . If you took a few days to rest . We will be here when you get back.
Your attention to detail is awesome.
Great video Sarah

Bound to be the cleanest 94 Ranger in the world! 🌎
So satisfying!
I love the smile and the look on ur face when u watch or talk about the Audi (baby) 😍👍
This Ranger is my favorite project to date! My dad bought an 84 new and I inherited it from him in 93 when he passed. I kept it five years, sold it to my best friend who drove the wheels off it. I really miss it. Great work Sarah!
Thank you so much for a wonderful video Sarah

I loved the Geo Storm. Really dug those eyelids above the headlights that would raise a little when you would turn the headlights on. Good times.
Because New Hampshire
Live freeze or die. Love the work you do Sarah!
The Ranger is looking great and black frame glasses rock on Sarah.
HAD to give a like at 4:43 for the jingle. I was thinking it in my head and you started singing it 🤣
I never tire of the Norm Abrams reference.
Ranger is spotless.
Sooooooo cute with the glasses
Love your happy workshop.
So amazing! Grammy would be tickled pink!
Always a joy to see your "hootenheisers and accoutrements"! Great progress on the frame and suspension reassembly. I have never seen this kind of work done before, especially with clean like new parts. This truck is going to drive like it's right off the assembly line!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes! Twin traction beams!
You're the best love your sense of humor
Another great installment in the Ranger series. I couldn't help but smile when I saw a Ranger drive past yesterday, albeit a contemporary model.
I just snagged myself a brand new set of Bilstein for the Subaru they were specked out from race comp with special valving it took me like two years to find these struts that will fit my legacy! I’m excited !
Nice work Sarah! Robert Van Winkle would be proud!
I had 2 Storms - a slow slushbox, and then inherited my old man's GSi with a 6-speed. It was a riot, like a go-cart minus the helmet.
Sarah you do excellent work! A true professional. That Ranger is going to look almost as awesome as you! I thoroughly love your videos keep up the excellent work. I try to watch every one of your episodes. Stay safe, healthy and have a wonderful week 🌹🇺🇸✌️
Excellence, thank you Sarah!!!
Love the eyes!
Cool video thanks.
So far this has been my favorite build on this channel. Awesome job!
You continue to be my hero
Australian fan watching great videos 😁🇦🇺👍
the old parts that make on to the reframe are survivors! Great work Sarah.
That is one gorgeous chassis! And the truck's not bad either.
Note to Sarah .... on your front shocks, where is the rubber grommets and curved washers that are installed on both sides? Upper and lower rubber grommets and curved washers is what your missing to take up the slack in the shock stem......
Smart and pretty too! Very nice job.
You are at your best in this video. All the ‘accoutrements’ of your brand, including ‘that’s what he said’ comedy inuendos.(sp).
Gran-ger is looking good. It is going to be one sweet ride. It will also help in picking up all those big car parts that don’t fit in Gump.
My new favorite RUclipsr!
My friend had an Isuzu I-Mark Turbo which came before the Impule. That was the first 5 speed manual turbo engine that I drove and that Lotus suspension was nice. Drove real well and it was a quick little car.

Thanks, Sarah! ✌️❤️🙂
Ranger is really coming along, nice work!
Seems like Sara never takes a day off. Enjoying the Ranger content. "P's and Q's"- because small case letters are inverse reflections of each other
Pints v’s Quarts, drinking
Mind your Ps and Qs is a typesetting term when printers would manually set the letters in place backwards.
There's nothing wrong with having OCD, it will come in handy when you start working on Suzie Quattro. Keep up the good 👍 work.
Hi Sarah. I owned almost the same truck, only mine was a 98 Mazda. I miss the gas milage, should have kept it. I rebuilt the engine. It had spun bearings due to a stripped oil pump drive gear. I truly love your OCD because I spend a lot of time making things look Perfect. Which is why a one week project takes me 6 months!!! 😂🤩👍

Loving the ranger build
Sarah ceramic tint the windshield and back glass 70 % front 25 %rear and a dash cover
