This band has carried me through all of my toughest moments in life, and at my age of 58, they continue to do so with this masterpiece! There is no other band out there who's music touches the soul as much as Insomnium does.

This band is my eternal love ….. much better music than any other band in the galaxy ….in short the best in the whole universe. I just love them.
A document of a monument. Well played. This is THE best Insomnium-album ever. A classic which deserved a place bewteen Master of Puppets, Reign in blood, Icon, Spiritual healing, The angel and the dark river and all those others.

@@hayovink9708 OMFG bruh. That album is in my Top 5 All Time list. It got me through some of the darkest times of my life. Everything about that album resonated with me. Even the album art is just incredible.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who loves that band and their early albums. Icon is just a masterpiece to me.

My favorite album by them. Highlights in the live stream for me are Out to Sea, Promethean Song, and Shadows of a Dying Sun (my favorite all time song from them); They are done so well.

I've seen other live videos and the sound quality level didn't reach the quality of their songs, but this Live seems the one of the best and closest to their original sound.

I've only just discovered this band. The guitar tunes are an absolute "wow" but I don't understand this throat singing style (I've forgotten the name of the technique). His "lyric" voice is good. I would love it if he used it throughout, like in the chorus of the Promethean song.
The Throat Deep Tone you are hearing is called Gutterals or more commonly known as Growling/Unclean Vocals.

Not usually a fan of pure distortion growls with no melody. I love screams but usually prefer them to have some sort of melody to them. I make an exception for Nillo. Mainly because of how expressive he is with them. My mum hates scream vocals but doesn't mind Nillo's, I have shown her a couple songs and she didn't mind them
They also just use them right imo so it doesn't feel as overbearing. Sometimes I feel like people implement them without having the right feel how it compliments or doesn't compliment a part of the song but here the composition is mostly very soothing for the vocal usage

Nope, it was the covid times, so they did the stream without him since he lives in a different country and traveling was made difficult back then. He's back on stage with the band on the current tour. ;)
