Robert Plant ( the singer) was asked in an interview what the toughest song for him live , he said “Since I’ve Been Loving You” not because of the range but because emotionally, he felt this more in his heart and he really poured it out onstage every night. You can hear his heart in this for sure .
Thank you for recognizing greatness. There are many people waking up to what we witnessed during this genre. It was magic...beyond words. I thought it would never die, but I was wrong. All of those amazing, gifted, artists are almost all gone. Maybe it can be resurrected at some point, but I fear that the current cultural rot will continue to get progressively worse. Sad
Love your reaction..they were in their early 20's and had been togther only since 1969. They were musically fused, 10:27 band focused not ego driven. They poured everything into their performances.
I was a teen in the 70s...best time of my life!! I'm 63 and I wish I had a time machine!! Yep PURE TALENT!! Watch more live performances! Yu will LOVE IT! Try Dazed And Confused from this concert....28 minutes of nothing you will never see again!! Also do Stairway To Heaven live from this song in 1973!!
We had no idea how good we had it back then, amirite? There was so much good music that we could afford to pick favorites, and look down on the bands we didn't like. ("Bob Seger? EWW. I like Springsteen; he's REAL rock and roll!") Looking back through the eyes of these reactors makes me realize just how good ALL of it was. And it's so great to hear how amazing our music was after decades of hearing about how old and "corny" Zeppelin is. YAY
Hi Julie....Dazed and Confused at the MSG, (the complete audio version), is one of the song why i told you, Jimmy Page, is the only one who could challenge Jimi Hendrix, sometimes.....He's going to like it, for sure....Peace from France ✌️🌹
It is the blues...they did alot of blues!! Keep going! It is so good because they are the greatest band to ever grace the planet! JPJ was playing keyboards on this and bass with his feet!!
I think this is my favorite live performance they do, they really put everything into it. Every song they do is amazing, & you can’t go wrong with any of them. These 4 men are the GOATS of their crafts, together they are ROCK GODS! No other band could ever compare, & no band ever will.
Every live performance by this band is perfection. Every song written and performed by this band is perfection. They are awesome and they are the GOATS and there will never be anyone as good.
I love your authentic and emotional reaction to this. I too believe this is the Best performance I've ever seen. I'm 77 and grew up with this music. It was so popular back then, I didn't truly appreciate how GREAT is was. You'd hear Led Zepplin music everyday and everywhere you went back then, and it sort of became background noise or elevator music for me. I wasn't a big fan or music freak in the past, but through RUclips reaction videos like yours, I'm falling in love with this band, watching them through your eyes. They are all such incredible virtuosos, yet work together seamlessly. They make most other bands look pedestrian, especially today's. I knew I was lucky to grow up in their time when the British Invasion brought our underappreciated BLUES back to us in America. But the depth of my good fortune is only now becoming clear to me. Watching you enjoy this is Golden. Thank you.
As you say. There's no replacement for pure talent. 4 men on stage with no gadgetry 50 years age, and with all the advances, what do we get now ? Everything sounds like it's from a video game. Electronic backing (and sampling), and wobbly effect autotuned voices. I'm over 70 now and the music industry is only interested in creating artists with little discernable talent. All the bands I used to go see did their apprenticeship travelling around in the back of a Van with their gear. Playing small venues all over until they'd done their apprenticeship as it were. Learning their trade. I could cry. Except! I have my vinyl collection and many happy memories of concerts and music festivals from 1968 and through the 70s seventies. So many great bands. I'm so glad I was born when I was. Keep on my friend. Love from the UK.
Good reaction. this show was done in 1972. Yes its live. And no autotune or other crap. When you have what i consider the best guitarist of all time(who also formed the band and produced theit albums), the best bass player/keyboardist ,the best drummer ,and the best vocalist ever, you have a pretty strong band. Very good chance they are the best ever. And no tricks, just talent/skill . And they where so so in sync with each other its crazy. There is always debate in these comments, some people prefer the studio versions because they are more "perfect". Others like me prefer most of the live stuff especially from this concert. I love SEEING their passion. and these live versions are longer, improvised, and never done the same way twice. Yet you would never know it by the tightness they play with.
*1973… but I agree with every word of your comment. Jimmy Page was a visionary who had the awareness to put together the perfect 4 piece band. His versatility as guitar player and as a songwriter/producer put him above everyone else. Everyone has their own opinions, and art is subjective, but this kind of talent is impossible to ignore. 🐉ZoSo🐉
I’ll take their live performances any day. You get to see the passion, the charisma, and creativity of the band when they change up the song every single time. They are so amazing. At 63, I still feel the same as I did as a teenager listening to them. GOAT 🔥🔥🔥🔥
This was 73,pure magic.music at its best.ive loved led zep since early 70s.carry on down the rabbit hole ,their catalogue of music will amaze you.xxbest band in the world for me,i still listen to them 2day & my kids were brought up on classic rock bands.
Awe.....remember when we had real music. Real musicians that sounded this good without auto tune. Played instruments. Im so glad i grew up during this time! ❤🔥
Just an authentic, amazing reaction bud, it's reactions like this, why I love watching other/new ppl discover the greatness that they didn't even know that they didn't know about lol keep them coming brotha... 🤩🤘
A realy wonderfull reaction. I'm from Germany and i was 16 years old in this time. I had my first small motorcycle and was each weekend on tour for visiting a concert, open air or some other places to enjoy music like this. Wonderfull time without crime and nobody must be worry that bad things hapend. Now i'm a old man nearly 70 and i only can say, that i have had a wonderfull live when i was young. I think the young generation now in 2023 don't know what they are missing in there world of smartphones, social media and LGBT.
Jimmy Page, BEST guitarist of all time, period. He was unmatched with the almost surreal way he played each song. His natural skill combined with Robert Plant's superb vocals - Led Zeppelin RULED the 1970's. "Stairway to Heaven" LIVE 1973 MSG" - React to that - It will prove Jimmy Page reigns as THE BEST. Your mind will be BLOWN by this stellar performance!
How did you not know to expect blues from Led Zep ? They were heavy into blues based rock,.....plus hard rock, folk, etc etc. You could never stick one label on the GOAT. And yes live, not in 80' but in 1973 ❤
@@theneverenderreacts Hey Mr. Vola, I’ve been a pro-musician since 1973, please could you review Gary Moore playing Empty Rooms LIVE in Stockholm, 1987! It is considered by many musicians to be one of the BEST electric guitar solos of all time! ps. My grandparents had a bakery in Pangbourne, Berkshire a few hundred yards from the guitarist Jimmy Page's house overlooking the Thames River. That is the house where Led Zeppelin first got together!
It is the blues but beyond that it is music that brings us all together expert witness out there so I can watch you enjoy it as much as I do as we all do.
They may not be making new music as good today, but luckily we still have all the brilliance from the 60's-90's and the technology today puts this music in you home 24/7.👌👌 Back in the day we had to see it on tv when it aired. There were a few music shows to watch, you could hear it on the radio or buy the albums, saw the bands live in concert (that is something I still do, however many of these bands are retired and the current ticket prices are just plane stupid) and sometimes we could go to the movie theater. I saw Led Zeppelins "Song Remains the Same" in the theater at least a dozen times.👌👌✌✌👍👍😃😃
Ahhh... These are the guys that slayed Europe with the blues! Now, I'm not discounting the Slow Hand (Eric Clapton) but, Zeppelin brought it to a whole nother level!
I dont remember at what age i started listening to Led Zeppelin. I dont remember when i DID'NT listen to Led Zep...My daughter has been repeatadly instructed to play that song and that version REALLY LOUD at my funeral...
This Was Music!! Best rockers of all time. Grew up with these bands. Best guitarist and vocals around. Dive into more Led Zep! You will realize true talent! Dont miss out. Loved it! Enjoy - Try Immigrant Song, Stairway to heaven-live, Whole Lotta love, many more!
I grew up in the 1970's as a teen and this was the music I had running all day and night on the turntable. Growing up in Orange County CA, some of the movie theaters would play a midnight special showing the whole Song Remains the Same concert show that you are playing. They rigged giant speakers in the theater and blasted this concert and we had a front row seat to this amazing show. LZ was the GOAT! period. They set the bar high for anyone who grabbed the guitar, drums, bass and microphone to make their own sounds. It was magic. BTW... Any good band following LZ would say that they were heavily influenced by this amazing rock band.
While Led Zeppelin plays different genres, they were first and foremost a Blues based band. They just played it in a way that nobody had heard before, or since.
Love your reactions you reacted the same way we did back when it first came out. You just experienced one of the best live performances ever and you're understanding now how music has pretty much changed for the worse. The artist back then had to have natural talent there wasn't the technology to enhance the vocals etc. and they could play live as they could actually play the instruments, sing and write great melodies and lyrics.
May have got together in London, but only Jimmy Page and JPJ were from the London area. Robert Plant and John Bonham were from the good ole English Midlands
You are so right !!! Technology kind of sucked out the life of today’s music ! It’s all glossy and pitch perfect and it leaves me absolutely cold and rather bored . It’s mostly pretty shallow .
Music is like this. Luckily for us, all it takes is to ask for it, and it's right here. Im so grateful for video so we can see as well as hear this. The 60s and 70s were full of beautiful and experimental music. Btw, beautiful reaction.❤️✌️

I've watched "The song remains the same" movie/documentary that this came from (MSG concerts) - I suggest any LZ fan who hasn't seen it - seek it out ASAP. Behind the scenes stuff is great - Bonham in his dragster! The robbery of the concert gate money, Peter F'n Grant greatest manager ever. On and on plus what a soundtrack !
This clip is from their concert film, "The Song Remains the Same", which their manager called "the most expensive home movie ever made". It's a killer movie, and you should definitely sit down and watch it. If you think Jimmy Page (the guitarist) cooks here, wait 'til you see the rendition of "Dazed and Confused" - TWENTY-SIX MINUTES of awesome guitar virtuosity. He's absolutely the best rock guitarist ever; his guitar was the _other_ lead singer in Zeppelin. :)
Led Zeppelin is the GOAT
why is this so good? it's Led Zepplin man...
Live at Madison Square Garden New York 1973 Best Concert in the whole world.
Greatest Band Ever!!!!
"Talent beats everything"... He gets it!
John Paul Jones was playing bass with his feet! 🤩

Welcome to Led Zeppelin...
Yes, they were that fucking good
Best reaction to my favorite band
Led Zeppelin does not
plug in to amplifiers
Led Zeppelin
plugs in to your SOUL
im glad you get it. and John Paul Jones was playing keybords and the bass with his foot.

"Who the F needs technology when you have talent" Well said and so true. Nothing like LZ then and now. Thank you for the review.
Best reaction in my favorite song, thank u man🤘🏻

Your exactly right talent trumps all and they have more in their pinky finger than the rest of us have in our entire bodies
Welcome to the black hole that is Led Zeppelin. The perfect musical storm ❤❤❤
cause it is the blues.............with rock.......unbelievable talent from 4 incredible musicians.
Ci sono i Led Zeppelin poi gli altri✌️

Falling in love with bass - The Lemon Song Led Zeppelin 2
It's shocking to think this is 50 years ago! No auto tune and people could play their instruments!
Great comments on technology. 100% live and no pitch correction. Greatest band in history.

I grew up in the 70’s listening to Led Zeppelin blasting from my sisters record player.

Led Zepplin is the shit!!!!! Keep exploring them....Your reactions are priceless!!!
Saw them twice in the 60s.. mesmerizing..Robert Plant pure sex appeal.Page phenomenal..loved them since❤❤

It’s not talent alone. It’s hard work and devotion to study music for more than a brief time to gain a high level of musicianship.
That's the best reaction I've ever seen. Put that song good for you man you're feeling it yeah

Early 70's. By 79 John Bonham ( drummer) drank himself to death and it was over.

So that's what I grew up listening to....😂😂😂
I'm guessing these boys from London England are new to you?
May have got together in London, but only Jimmy Page and JPJ were from the London area. Robert Plant and John Bonham were from the good ole English Midlands
Not a bass guitar, he's playing the bass with his foot pedals while playing the keyboards with his hands.
Well said brother! More. Please. Until next time stay well and popping for fresh.
Might be my favorite song and live performance ever. Subscribed for this.
This is Jimmy's page blue based song! This is Blues Rock zeppelin pretty much invented!
remember there was no autotune back then...you had to have talent
It is the bluea
You really need to watch Stairway To Heaven, again live at the same concert in Madison Square Garden. Jimmy Page's guitar solo in this is phenomenal
Overrated.
12-8 blues played as well as it can be a great group of musicians

1969 they put out the album
Saw them in 84 Nottingham amazing…

The way this guy says. Nobody told me Led Zep were good like this nobody told me says it all

The GOAT’s
You have to react to Stairway to heaven from Led Zepplin, it’s a must see
