Hey Jodi!! I’m your Christmas Nougat BFF from way back. You found some old ones in a drawer in your desk and ate them. I found some old ones under the couch and ate them. 😂🤣🤣 I just want to say thank you for posting and being so cheerful all the time. Seems like all the videos popping up on my feed are of the craziness in the world and I’m so thankful that I can count on you to take me away from the noise weekly. I meannn, plus, you are real and I need that in my life. Take care!! ❤
Oh my gosh Holly we are BFFs forever now. Christmas nougats found just about anywhere should be eaten ❤️❤️😍😍😂 I love that!! Awe thank you for your kind words
Hi Jodie , it’s looking great. Our summer is going now in the uk. We had a lot of rain this week. My step daughter gets married on Saturday so it will be a busy weekend xx
Hi Jodi, you've done such an amazing job in your yard, especially in the backyard! That was fantastic your hub started cleaning the backyard before you did! I guess you made an impression to keep at it. It takes a while to achieve your goal & that's a big yard! So pat yourself on the back for a good job well done! Thanks for sharing it all with us! Have a great week! ♥️☺️🫂🐾🦋🧶🧵🪡📓✏️🍄🍁🎃🌹✨️
I was so happy to see you back out there filling bags. I find it oddly satisfying to see the leaves removed to see the cleared areas. The before and afters last year were so dramatic! I'm curious to see what the stones look like under there.😊 Great job!
Jodi your yard is looking beautiful. I enjoyed the view from your back yard toward the house. You and your husband has done so much and it looks BEAUTIFUL.🌻🌼🌷🌺
Fellow Michigander here... You have accomplished so much and all your hard work is noticed and appreciated by this gardener. My motto is "Don't quit until you're proud." and I'm still working on my gardens. 😅
Wow, Jodi! Your yard has come a long way! Great job! Had a handful of squirrels on my porch today. Had to close the front door because they kept coming back. I try to feed them once a day. They’re little pigs when you have peanuts! It gets expensive. I buy a bag from Meijers when I can. Hugs to all! Your neighbor from southern Michigan.💜👍🥰
For the bush you may try and put a metal barrier or something around it to hold water and keep it very wet for a few days and slowly u'll be able to dig it out. It will get root rot and come out. I'v done it to mine. It's still hard work but it helps and will come out. I'v also had larger trees that I have dug out around them and then took a small chain saw and cut it out and low as I can. This maybe a option for you to do as well.
Hi Jodi, i have been sitting on my side porch in the mornings with coffee and have humming birds buzzing my head (red hair). 5 feeders spread out and bunches of hummingbirds. Have a wonderful week. God bless.
Staying sain with MY Dunn family. Hi Hi Hi Clarke. Gave up on planting Jodi, "THE SON" came home to "His" home, for his once a month visit to help with the lawn care, while I was caring for "HIS" Our, whatever,,,, puppers. He whacked alot of the perrenials down I had planted😢😢😢😢. Whatever, it's his yard. I will continue to love yours. I was so hoping to see your little squirrel buddies, hoping they are OK. Your plants look just beautiful. Lol, you made me laugh today. Ty. When you mentioned the bee suit, I remember we'll, when I saw the preview, before I clicked on, I was like oh gee, Jodi has gone to the moon and back, Lol, let's see what's up. I know it wasn't funny for the hubs, I will never forget that expression on your face, Lol,,,Here we go, What now? Also, so sorry about Clark's line breaking, that's a bummer. Have a great rest of your week, Stay safe, Enjoy
Good Morning, Sunshine!! Lol well, we will soon be closing the camp up in October. The summer goes By too quickly. But I am in the process of accomplishing what I set out to do. when I found the camp for sake on Facebook marketplace what attracted me to it was the out building had purple flowers painted on it. It looked so cool. Well, after owning it since the end of 2021, I decided to paint the out building differently. I painted the window frames a lime green, I repainted the sunflowers a bright yellow, and now the purple flowers are being painted a bright orange, salmon, red, purple and an aqua blue.and the stems are a lime green. The who!e area pops. I ordered sunflower lights for the nightime. This past weekend I spray painted the outdoor swing a glossy black, it came out looking new. Now to work on the deck, stain and Seal it. Next year, God willing, I am painting the outside of my camper, for a fresh look. And freshing up my garden with top soil. Never a dull moment but I enjoy the results. Thank you for the tips and tricks. I will be working on my yard also, at home. Luv ya!!😎😊
I've not had good luck growing asters. The rabbits eat the flowers every time, whether I plant them in the ground or keep them in the pots. The only thing that worked for me was to spray deer repellent on them, but every time it rains you have to reapply it, and it's expensive. Good luck! Maybe try sprinkling some cayenne pepper around the asters too. That may work.
Great garden progress. The front beds look good and I love astors in the fall. More good progress in the back too. I would think your hubs is getting inspired by the progress made and what your back yard could look like. Yay!
Hi Jodi, the yard is really coming along. All of your hard work is paying off. Believe me,if the bunnies like the flowers they will get them. I had some beautiful flowers like those along my walkway,I left in the morning for work when I came home the bunnies ate the flowers and left all the green. I wish luck on your flowers 🌺🌸
Well done, Jodi! I'm in Georgia, originally from Ohio. Our weather is finally cooling down, so I'm hoping to be able to get some yard work done. The heat 🥵 means I don't get to much in July and August. I so enjoy all the gardening you do, as well as dealing with house plants. Enjoy your beautiful fall!
Yay!! I always love to see your garden updates, Jodi! You provide such joy in this world! ❤Thank you!! 🎉 I’ve been doing some decluttering in the house & am giving away 3 bags of clothes and a box of cups & other household items. It feels great! 🎉
Hi Jodi! I literally just found you today! I watched your basement videos, garage and now I’m going to watch this one! I think you are amazing 🎉 and I love your mindset on decluttering. Anyway, so happy to be a part of your channel! ❤❤
I'm with you about summer staying longer. Western NY probably gets the same kind of weather as you. Summer is too short and winter is too long. The gardens and yard look great.
I ordered 9 bare roots. One is doing pretty good. Most didn’t come up. I won’t be ordering bare roots anymore. I’ll stick with plugs or plants or seeds. I love your mums.
I don’t know how Sponsorship works but why don’t you reach out to a Company for a Chain Saw. You and your husband could do a lot of cutting those small trees. You work so hard and appreciate you sharing. God bless you and your family.
Happy Tuesday Jodi! You may want to try putting some Biotone in the hole when you plant and then Flowertone/Plantone about once a month for more blooms. They are organic and awesome fertilizers.
Do you have any bee balms? If not you need to get some. The bees and hummingbirds LOVE them and they are a pretty tall flower. They come up every year and they will be perfect for your climate. I live in Northern Ontario and I never had an issue with them. They are a hardy flower. Hugs xoxo
Hello Jodie, l love your gatdens. I wish i could help you. No garden here (condo rules). Keep it going, lady. I had to laugh at you when you were talking to yourself. Take care and keep on planting. ❤
What a big change and the evidence of hard work in your garden now compared to when you started. I think you guys have did a fantastic job! Looking forward to what next summer brings. I kept two ferns alive in GA. heat this summer and all my indoor faux plants look great. haha Hey...just get hubby to wear Clark's collar when he is helping in the yard and he will know where the line is. 🤣🤣 That might just out do the bee sting story. haha. Just kidding I think. 😉
Ok so many things in this one comment made me laugh 😂😂😂 Yay for the faux plants looking great and seriously genius idea to have hubs wear clarkes collar 🤣🤣🤣
Hello! I enjoyed your video as always. I live a little south of you in Northeast indiana. My black-eyed Susans and purple coneflowers were always the gift that kept on giving. I gave away many and was able to move them wherever I wanted them because they made new babies every year. I keep meaning to ask, what is the story of the fake flowers that you have in your garden bed? You must have mentioned them at some time but I missed it.
Hi jodi, I’ve had the same thing with my rudbeckia not attracting pollinators despite it saying pollinator friendly. Mine too has only been in the ground a few months. Fingers crossed for next year x
