Looks so great! Real changes and improvements over time. I would love to see a season-ending “declutter” of the yards in preparation for winter. A final clean up of the gardening pots, etc. and maybe some pressure washing - including all of the toys and playground equipment. I think they’ll clean up nicely! Keep up the great work!
After years of gardening…I’ve realized that I love (and can grow successfully without killing): Hostas Black eyed Susan’s Zinnias Marigolds Lantana My friend bought the Lisianthus that’s purple. They were beautiful! I hope to get some next spring. Jodi, your transformations are awesome! You’ve developed quite the green thumb! Your flowers are stunning!
You've come so far, inside & out!!!!! You have great reason to be so proud of your hard work. Plus, you've gained a passion for growing beautiful things. ❤
Wow jodi You have done a great job thats alot of work, but it is nice you can be proud and say i did myself ❤ anything you put your mind to you can do nothing is impossible 😊thanks for sharing a have a good wed

Wow the garden looks amazing, well done on all your hard work and help from hubby too. Will you keep some of the thicker branches to line paths? Also does the tree guy have a wood chipper and you can use those chips for more pathways? Clarke is loving all the space too. Have a great week. Mary, Joes wife 🙇♀️👏👍💪🙏💐🦮
Wow what a project😮 You should be so proud of all your hard work. Maybe now your daughters will come out and help. They can rake leaves 🍁 Next years FAMILY PROJECT ❤🪻🌷🌹🌻
Jodi you should be so proud! It is truly a transformation! My yard was similar to that in the back when I moved In. Consistently working on it does wonders! Congrats!!
Owning a home is really quite a lot of work! I had to sell mine a few years ago because I just couldn't do it anymore, then I couldn't find people to even pay to do the work. And my yard and house was much smaller. I also tried planting some Cosmos one year. I was horrified by how huge they got! They dwarfed the front of my tiny home and my little garden.

You have made outstanding progress. You didn't know you had a green thumb. Regarding your petunias, I have discovered that they are squirrel salad. I had gorgeous plants and watched my squirrels sit and munch on the petals and leaves. I have almost nothing but bare stems 🤷♀️ Please also be mindful of squirrel homes when taking down the trees, especially as there could be babies. They will build dreys in the tree canopy and in hollow spaces of dying trees. Love the expansion of a back lawn. It will be such a fun space for your grandkids to play. With more sun, have you considered a small vegetable garden? It would be great fun for the grandkids to help grow and harvest. Under the new tree line, you could plant flowering rhododendron. The deer aren't interested in them. Azaleas are also beautiful flowering shrubs, but some deer really enjoy them. Hellebore is a beautiful shade flowering perennial. Bleeding heart and daffodils would give beautiful color. They also hate peonies, which have gorgeous blooms. Can't wait to see what you do next!
Hi Jodi, love all the yard progress. I found out the sickness I have is not covid, it's pneumonia. Don't feel like doing anything, but watching videos. God bless
Jodi, absolutely amazing and beautiful. If you keep the tree stump, the big one, why not put like little fairy houses or something like that? Make it a part of the garden you are envisioning.
Yes, Jodi, it's amazing what you have done in your gardens! Pat yourself on your back for a job well done! I know there's more to do. Getting those 3 big trees removed will help a lot! You should keep a written record of everything, where you put these flowers & why they didn't make it or just didn't make it because of the weather, etc! That way, you'll know what you need to do next year! But I'm amazed at how everything has grown so much! You do have a green thumb! Have a wonderful week & take care! Hi Jodi I'm pretty new here and I have been watching your declutteri ng videos when you first started! Got me ready to do my home ,thanks for your inspiration! Y the way I love your videos! ❤
Dahlias are a lot of work compared to normal perennials or annuals. Would pots be easier so you don't have to dig every year and can just stick some in the garage and divide every few years?
What if you plastic strip-tied two tomato cages together at the wide end, spray-painted them green, and then grew the cosmos inside them? The cages would disappear in the leaves. I bet the animals talk about the nice lady who put out the great buffet for them this summer. 🐰🦌🐦🐿🦗🦋🐝
I miss "The woods" NOT Be and feel proud Jodi, your yard is beautiful, Please give Clarke A hug for me. Also, y r u not using liquid fense on the plants that r getting eaten?
Jodi my lilac bush bloom a 2 nd time in August & September today is the 21 it bloomed in May never seen that happen before would you know why that happened ? ?
You never really talked about why you guys never gardened or removed the leaves with fall or spring clean ups. What made you not do it for so long and what made you start now.
As I’m watching Ali g the video I keep commenting like the difference in the “woods” is so large. I wonder if you ever miss some of the privacy of the woods from the neighbors. Even though I know you love the open space.

Porch looks so good. Just needs a little swept don’t ever sit back there with your coffee. Do you have a couple chairs back there
What if you plastic strip-tied two tomato cages together at the wide end, spray-painted them green, and then grew the cosmos inside them? The cages would disappear in the leaves. I bet the animals talk about the nice lady who put out the great buffet for them this summer. 🐰🦌🐦🐿🦗🦋🐝
Yes that’s a great idea. I think that would support them better than the netting I used.
I do think the animals and insects love my yard ❤️❤️❤️
U should be so proud of yourself as it looks amazing ❤ random question sorry, but are u going to start ur cash stuffing again? ❤
My zinnias were labeled 18 in to 2 ft. They got over 5 ft. I didn’t have the heat to rip them out , so I had a zinnia jungle.
Yes!!! That’s what mine were labeled too 😂😂😂
I miss "The woods" NOT
Be and feel proud Jodi, your yard is beautiful, Please give Clarke A hug for me. Also, y r u not using liquid fense on the plants that r getting eaten?
Jodi my lilac bush bloom a 2 nd time in August & September today is the 21 it bloomed in May never seen that happen before would you know why that happened ? ?
What do your neighbors think of all the work you guys have done?
You never really talked about why you guys never gardened or removed the leaves with fall or spring clean ups. What made you not do it for so long and what made you start now.
As I’m watching Ali g the video I keep commenting like the difference in the “woods” is so large. I wonder if you ever miss some of the privacy of the woods from the neighbors. Even though I know you love the open space.
Simply amazing what you’ve done.❤ like the vision you have fur future. All your flowers are so pretty, even at the end of season.❤
It all looks so great. Great job!
