Hey Matt! Here’s a great tip:
Once you beat chapter 3, your level cap increases to 25, *level 21+ kamikaze* actually one tap the base on *2 star!*
This gives about *500 more xp than normal bomb rush,* making your xp grind far more efficient!
Another tip: since you beat chapter 3 *(stage 10)* you unlocked the butcher battler! But he’s not that great… it’s his alt form that’s amazing! *Chainsaw battler is a rusher that specializes in mowing down enemies,* he’s very good for *grinding xp and clearing peons.* Kind of like a better Kamikaze.
Whenever he kills a enemy Bla Bla bla it’s in his description lmao. U can use him to unlock faster xp grinding methods tho.
(The main weakness of chainsaw is *armored enemies)* he’s also bad against tanks or hordes of ranged attackers since he’s relatively fragile. So I recommend *timing him like kamikaze* to get the most value.
Final tip: *Fencer Battler* is actually extremely good for armored enemies! (Particularly *level 20 chapter 2* ). *His alt form* (Scherma Battler) is incredibly effective, as it does a LOTT of damage for a melee, with decent range, AND most importantly, *IGNORES ARMOR!* This Makes him extremely effective against Tanky armored enemies which are quite prevalent in chapter 3. Mainly bosses.
Even not including armored enemies, Scherma is a incredibly strong single target damage (522 damage at lv. 25). So I hope you take my recommendations to heart, and if you read this it will make my day :D

For a good comparison, Vulcan Battler is your *Teselan Pasalan* in this game. His raw DPS gets really high (higher still if you use speed buffs like Bugle), but if he has to reposition for any reason his firerate drops back to normal. Against any target that has a lot of health, he can ramp up easier than if he was just fighting crowds (which is better for Expo anyways.)
The mechanic that Black enemies use in this game is the *Deathmark.* Deathmark is the skull icon that appears on units; it records any black-trait damage dealt and, once the counter hits zero, will reapply all recorded damage to that one unit (sort of like a big 'bonus damage' hit on a finishing combo move.) Black Enemies are somewhat like TBC's in the way that they're fast glass-cannon enemies.
Once you've finished with Chapter 3 (or if for some reason you hit a roadblock), you might wanna go back and play the previous chapters' higher stars. You get an awesome reward for each chapter if you get through all 3 stars on each. Good luck with the later Ch3 levels, you're doing great thus far!

prospecter battler can be super nutty if you pair it with healer and slateskin battlers as it will have armor ON TOP of having 50% resistance letting him absorb huge amounts of damage and dealing good damage back. The healer will just make him near invincible with high enough levels for lower stars

Vulcan Battler is more to an Boss Shredder, use Vulcan on bosses or high hp targets since his ramp up style of attack "one attack next is faster but if it stops it resets" only really good on bosses honestly

(at the time of editing this, a new joke subchapter got released. its funny but it has enemies you havent seen yet that are supposed to be seen in other subchapters. however, its limited from september 14-28 so make ur choice)
I think it’s good to note that chapter 3 is an anti-tank chapter. Black enemies are also typically fast and have high damage, but have lower hp on average to compensate. What separates them from being solely glass cannons is that some have an absurd amount of resistance, which is where miner/prospector comes into play. dont rule out high hp battlers tho
Also, an anti trait doesn’t mean you have to immediately use it for a certain chapter. regular units could still perform better, but it is a nice addition of 25% more dmg and less dmg taken (which is pretty big if you think about it). It’s worthy to note it doesn’t amplify their abilities in any way (correct me if im wrong)
for example, flashlight battler has next to 0 dmg and is already pretty fragile, rendering his anti black status less effective. same can be said to cola but he isnt that bad. Vulcan, despite being anti-black, has his entire gimmick countered by how fast chapter 3 enemies are, or their abilities to kill backliners easily. Vulcan is a very strong boss killer, however.
like some comments mentioned, drafted and ninja are pretty much the chapter 3 versions of krip, so they can come in handy.
most anti-black units are good against their trait anyway so u dont gotta worry. its good to test and play around with different battlers anyway, so good luck and have fun!!!!!! (Sorry for this unorganized mess i rarely yap like this)

Hey Matt! Did you know that there is a difficulty that’s even harder than normal? Besides the star difficulties, there is a “tumore” mode that uses alt forms for all units, some bosses are remastered, (this part was removed for hate 💀) and sub chapters have new units. To get this mode you have to click the middle of the purple gear when your loading in. Also, the alt form for speed battler is a pretty good rusher.

Hello Matt! Heres some pretty useful information on what to do now besides chapter 3:
Tumore mode, The secret difficulty that you unlock from clicking the pink gear when loading in, gives all the exp and brick rewards all over again, while also showing most enemies and bosses not only in a different design, but with custom abilities that are extremely awesome.
Also, i really recommend You max out ninja battler over other units, since he is a very spammable, fast and extremely strong unit at max level doing 150 damage per barrage. You should also use his first form to take out high health enemies, but he is weak against enemies with DEFENCE.

Congrats on getting to chapter 3. As you know this chapter has a thing called hazards and here's what they do:
    - Smog: will limit the range of all troops on the field no matter if its an enemy or not.
    - Flare: will sometimes set all troops on the field on fire. wont affect fire immune units.
    - Gloom: you wont be able to see the field at all except for when lightning strikes occasionally
    - Overclock: will occasionally give all troops on the field a speed buff.
Also 15:35 lowering the fire-rate cap means he will shoot faster. INCREASING the fire-rate time will make him shoot slower.

  • @IAroomba
    @IAroomba 5 дней назад +2

hey again matt, now that you've got butcher and maxed out your ninja for the time being i thought i'd give you a few more tips:
    - if you want cheap, single target DPS then ninja is best for this. if you want even more, pair him with noir or trainee/slinger.
assassin has less single target damage but has pierce, as you saw before. this makes him a cheaper, faster archer battler with higher DPS, making him good for taking out shorter ranged backliners.
    - butcher is, once again, cracked. he's got great dps and can tank a lot when he goes mad! his alt form, chainsaw battler, is a very powerful rusher, gaining a huge speed boost when he kills an enemy, at the cost of losing resistance!
there's a specific enemy in the upcoming stages which basically gives you enraged chainsaws for free.
    - flashlight and dr bright (stage 10 boss, who you killed) apply the blind debuff. this lowers the range of affected units, making melee/projectile units miss their attacks and pulling in ranged units so it's easier to kill with melees/aoe. this can sometimes save your units from dangerous attacks which otherwise would've been lethal, so it's a good thing to know when to use him.

4:11 AAAAAAAA THAT’S MEEEE!!!!! SOLO HIGHLIGHT RRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH
As always, great episode, and expect to see me in many more comment sections to come!
Now then, without further ado, onto our program!
    *Stage Hazards*
These are gonna be appearing all throughout Chapter 3, and they can drastically change the difficulty and intended strategy for a stage! Their effects can range from fog forcing all units to fight in melee distance (ranged ones included!) or intense heat slowly killing your backliners and softening up your meatshields to be broken through, among others. You can check for Stage Hazards in the screen displaying stage enemies.
*Chainsaw Battler - Insane Rusher Potential?*
As I predicted, you got Butcher Battler at the end of the episode. Now, all you gotta do is sink some XP into him and boom! Chainsaw Battler! Chainsaw sports a high walk and attack speed, easily categorizing him as a rusher. However, he TRULY shines with his ability: whenever chainsaw gets a kill, he gets an insane walk and attack speed buff ON TOP of his already absurd numbers in those departments. The buff has a limited duration, but the timer gets reset every single time he gets a kill! This effect can EASILY snowball into Chainsaw soloing entire stages depending on the situation. To top it all off, Chainsaw is both Anti-Black AND cheap to deploy for his value! You should definitely check him out next episode :D
*Drafted Battler - Krip’s TRUE successor!*
I know I said Expo would be Chapter 3’s Krip, but that was BEFORE I realized that you’d gotten Trainee Battler from the gacha! Drafted Battler (Trainee’s Alt Form, which you seemed to forget to switch to throughout the entire episode despite unlocking him quite early 😭) is essentially a cheaper, slightly weaker, and much more spammable Krip, that also targets Black enemies! What I want to focus on is the SPAMMMABLE part, because Drafted stacks are much more powerful than you’d think. All you need to do is use Battler + Trowel (or Battler + either of the two meatshields I’m going to mention a little later) and keep a steady flow of all three units going into the fight. As a bonus, this strategy is a very cheap investment, only requiring a minimum of $500 to spawn all three units! This helps you save for Bank upgrades or Noir with more peace of mind.
*Ninja v. Assassin - Is Assassin actually better?*
Now, I know that the unit stats page says that Assassin is basically Ninja but with piercing, but it fails to mention a VERY important detail. Did you ever notice how Ninja’s description says “throws three shurikens?” Well, the damage number listed in his stats is actually damage PER SHURIKEN! This means that Ninja does TRIPLE the damage that Assassin does, and at a faster rate!
“But what about the pierce?” Well, the issue with Assassin is that because of attributes like Defense and Damage Resistance (Chapter 3 being filled to the brim with the latter, by the way) he loses out on so much potential damage that could’ve been used to just shred one enemy. Assassin’s whole niche is easily overshadowed too, with the likes of Banhammer and Grenade being able to do his job but better. The choice of which for, to use is ultimately yours to make, but personally I’d recommend Ninja over Assassin. (Side Note: the aforementioned Drafted Battler Stacking strategy works really well with Ninja, too!)
*Miner & Spartan Battler - Underrated?*
I’ve mentioned Damage Resistance quite a few times throughout the program, as I can’t stress enough how much a prevalent issue it is during Chapter 3. Well, guess which unit just so happens to be a meatshield that IGNORES this annoying stat? Miner Battler! He may not seem too good at first, but he can shut down some very annoying enemies, chief of all being the one that’s been arresting your units and rendering them useless. Do give him a shot some day! Another meatshield I want to bring to light is one I mentioned last time: Spartan Battler! He’s VERY tanky, sporting high health, defense, and being strong against Black enemies! But, even though he’s a meatshield, he possesses a great offensive utility in the form the Spartan Kick, which he uses to knock back and potentially kill enemies below half health. A good Spartan stack has some impressive pushing power, which is going to become especially handy given some of the backliner enemies you’re going to run into throughout Chapter 3.
    *Expo/Vulcan Battler - FRAUDS?*
Many have said that Expo and Vulcan have fallen off and aren’t very viable anymore, and to their credit, that take does have some merit. However, Expo and Vulcan still have their use cases and in said cases, they can do their job well! Expo is the cheaper, more spammable option with splash damage to boot, and his ramp up effect is quite potent, especially with Bugle. However, his issue is that he doesn’t stand at a safe enough distance to where he can reach his full potential easily, being prone to getting caught by area/piercing attacks. Vulcan, while being more expensive, can alleviate this issue by using his extended range to better gain momentum, and when he does, it will work wonders. The description didn’t clarify, so I just want to clear up that it means to say that at max speed, Vulcan can fire much faster than Expo at max speed.
Now, for the use cases. Vulcan specializes in bosskilling, being able to melt away HP if given the right support. Due to his fast fire rate, he is also decent and mowing down crowds too! Specifically in Chapter 3 with a certain miniboss and some of the later bosses in Tumore mode, (when we get there) you’ll find Vulcan to be a useful asset. To put it simply, you’ve just got to wait for the right time and place to see Expo and Vulcan prove their worth.
That’s it for today’s program! Hope you enjoyed reading this and took some of my advice to heart! See you guys next episode!

Smog: makes *all* units and enemies have less range by 1/3rd
Flare : pretty self explained, burns every unit and enemy (makes the screen orangish)
Overclock: resets every unit's and enemies' cooldown while also speeding them up for a bit (makes the screen yellowish)
Gloom: doesnt affect ur units but makes it harder for you to see, the only way you can see is when it thunders. (shouldn't take a while for it to thunder though.)

Hello. I recommend buying Banks and Cannons with your bricks, since they can help you a lot in the earlier game and are crucial for the later game.
I can quickly explain all of them right now:
    Cannons:
    - Gatling - Does high DPS for a short time but lacks splash damage
    - Slammer - Gives extra health to your base + INSANE Damage but lacks some range
    - Recoil - Does very small damage but is able to send back and stun mini-bosses and bosses (Unlocked after beating Coil Chaos)
    - Treasure - Gives you money and makes enemies drop more money when you kill them for a short time (Unlocked after beating Chapter 2)
    - Absorber - Summons a tanky wall on the nearest enemy (Unlocked after beating Chapter 3)
    Banks:
    - Investment - Gives you less money at the start but the upgrades are cheaper and it has +4 levels
    - Powerhouse - Gives you way more money than the regular bank but the upgrades are more expensive and it also slows the recharge time of your units (Unlocked after beating Chapter 1)
    - Detonator - Majorly increases enemy bounty but your base is on timer and if you don't upgrade bank in time then your base will explode (Unlocked after beating Chapter 2)
    - Ignition - Gives you money very slowly but when paired with units that can give you money or the treasure bank then you can keep up with money; every upgrade it makes your units go way faster for a certain amount of time (the time increases with every upgrade) (Unlocked after beating Frost Legion)

Hello Matt, If you ever wondering what special unit you should be buying next. I would HIGHLY recommend sparta battler.
    - He is similar to bucket battler of having armor but instead he focus on special target and anti black.
    - He will also kick the enemy when they are half hp (i think) providing a bit of knockback or a quick take down of a peon.
But his alt form is when he get good.
    - On his alt he lose armor but get resistance, his kick ability get replace with an one time charge ability which is similar to motorbike/hyperbike (or express cat ig) but got better knockback and deal quite alot of dmg.
    - When close enough to a target he will charge foward in great speed to the frontline, raming his targets and knocking them back or even straight up killing them. He can act as a quick emergency meatshield or a mini tank if needed. He is very vesitale, can be used in almost any stages, quite cheap for a quick minitank and got a decent fast cooldown.

What If Chapter 3 Enemies were overdetailed!!
Important basic parts are in bold.
*Darkheart* - The man and the myth. He has a short cooldown when encountering an enemy and deals *20 base damage. When his triple attack ends, he has a long windup for you to attack! His entire mechanic of slashing is meant to fit with the so called Trait Effect. When the trait effect reaches zero, it deals triple the normal damage!* He also has *NO resistance* and also has 10 walkspeed! He can easily be an annoyance, like every black enemy.
*Outlaw* - Its just cheddar he wants, and money.. And your base.. He has slightly extra health than darkheart and deals 20 base damage! *Something he excels in is something really niche, which are targets immune to target effects which is useless for now.* He has no resistance, 2 cooldown and 8 walkspeed. He also has the same range as *Darkheart.*
*Penny* - Who knew pens hurt so bad??? She is the first enemy in the entire 3 main chapters in normal mode to have *RESISTANCE!* I will not go over resistance since it was explained by like, 10000 comments. *When she gets hit, she will go [+ENRAGED!], attacking and moving faster while having splash damage on her pen. Something that is good is that she has 2 less range than *Darkheart and Outlaw!*
*Patrol* - *STAP RIGHT THERE!!!* You’re going to JAIL! YEAH THATS RIGHT!! ITS THE POLICE!!! I have *30 RESISTANCE, 30 BASE HEALTH AND 8 RANGE!!! I CAN JAIL YOUR BATTLERS AND MAKE MY FRIENDS IGNORE THEM!! HAHAHAA!! I ALSO GAIN 60 MORE RESISTANCE WHEN I JAIL… ALSO I HAVE 12 WALKSPEED BUT NOBODY CARES :(*
*Butcher Battler* - FREAKY for meat.. Its the butcher! He has 25 base damage with 5 range, 6 walkspeed and one cooldown with 80 health!
He has no defense or resistance… but.. *Upon attacking 3 times, he will gain a small sum of resistance and go into a crazed state, attacking quicker and walking faster while laughing! This lasts for a short while though, be on the RUSH!*
*Amputator* - Dont let this dude cook!! He removes LIMBS! This dude can be a really big pain later on, however thats no biggie. *He has 60 resistance with 80 health. He deals a WHOPPING 60 DAMAGE WITH A 3 COOLDOWN! He also walks really fast, making him a big threat if your not focusing. Fun fact about psi/noir:
He is based off 2 classic roblox gears (bio craft energy sword for regular form and the noir periastron for alt form) and both of these gears come in different variations/colors
there is also another uber rare unit similar to noir being the uber rare "Mu" who's alt is Crimson also having a weapon part of the periastron family but red
also be careful as noir's speed can be a downside which you will encounter from chapter 3 stages 21-30 from a certain enemy with a red laser gun (try to get rid of him whenever you see him)

*EDIT from September 15th: The Battle Brick's second anniversary update released, every 5 stages is 50 bricks and every 10 stages is 100 bricks in that Subchapter, there isn't any XP but it's definetely worth a try since it's going to last only for 2 weeks and its also the first limited-time subchapter ingame, btw the subchapter is basically filled with jokes too. By the time you read this comment it might be just ending in 9-14 days left*
To clarify better with the stat system since it was a bit poorly explained in the last 2 videos by the way!
    - Damage Resistance is the green stat icon, it reduce damage by whatever the percentage of the Damage Resistance is. For instance, a unit with 10% Damage Resistance taking 100 Damage will only take 90 Damage instead. - Another example: a unit with 50% Damage Resistance taking 10 Damage will only take 5 Damage.
    - Armor is the one with the blue icon stat that should looks like a shield, basically any damage under the Armor value will default to 1 damage. For example, a unit with 30 Armor getting hit will cause any damage equal to or under 30 to become 1, any further damage will be subtracted by the armor value.
Also, Miner Battler ignores Damage Resistance, it can counters enemies that have high Damage Resistance, Almost every Black Traited enemies have Damage Resistance so that might be helpful.
Oh and there's this mechanic called Magnification. *(I'm going to be talking about this since no one seems to be explaining)* During stage selection, you'll see there's a button that should look like a red triangle with a question mark *(It should be on the top left)* , you can see enemies stats and Magnification there, You can see the percentage of magnification on the left, for example 200% Magnification doubles the enemies stats, essentially 2x enemies stats.
    1 Star - Regular
2 Star - Magnification is 1.5x higher and Unit Cost is 1.5x more expensive [ XP Gain each Stage increased by 50% ]
3 Star - Magnification is 2x higher and Unit Cost is 2x more expensive [ XP Gain each Stage increased by 100% ]
Stages mostly have different Magnification, For example Chapter 1 - Stage 30, Doomspire Brickbattle have 200% Magnification, Chapter 2 - Stage 1, Warm Up having 150% Magnification, those Magnification can be increased by doing on higher Stars which means they'll be harder but have more XP gain *( I honestly recommend trying them out! )*
By the way, to unlock Tumore Mode you have to spam click on the Gear *(Autoclicker would help)* as soon as you join the game in the Intro and a cutscene would play out.
Tumore Mode upgrades enemies to their Alt Forms as well with 2x enemies stats *(Basically Tumore Mode on higher Stars is extremely difficult)* and you get 20% more XP.
    - You should do Tumore Mode on higher stars once you think your ready, since Tumore Mode on higher stars have a high Magnification, basically even *higher enemies stats.*
By the way, completing *Chapter 1 on Tumore Mode on 3 Stars* unlocks something special, same goes for the other Chapters.
Tumore Mode is more like a late game content though, you should instead try out playing Chapter 1 on 2 Stars [NORMAL] and progress to Chapter 1on 3 Stars [NORMAL] and maybe even Chapter 2 [NORMAL] on higher Stars, they're highly recommended I'd say.
    [NORMAL] - Normal Mode

    18:18
I don't know if Matt knows, but if you're reading this Matt: I'd say about 80 - 90% of the black enemies have a lot of resistance. Like those dudes who look like doctors? Have roughly 80 or 70 resistance, don't remember from the top of my head. Even the units that you wouldn't think would make sense to give resistance, such as the dude with the black sword, Darkheart, has resistance. Also notable mention is that the dude who says, "Stop right there!" only has minimal resistance, but once he "detains" one of your units it climbs up insanely high, making prospector very useful against him.

I will explain them to you
Fog-Reduces range and makes it harder to see
Flare-When your screen turns orange it means it's taking effect
It gives every battler (including enemies but except those who are immune to fire) the fire effect
    Doing constant damage
Blackout-you can't see anything like at all
The only way you can see is by the lightning strikes every once in a while
Stun grenade(I forgot the name)-It stuns every battler on the field including enemies
Shock(I forgot the name)-it makes every battler including enemies a speed and attack boost
It also resets their attack cooldown
Also drummers buff gets better on alt form

really random tips for chapter 3 (normal/casual)
stunner or any de-buffs that can slow down enemies will be really helpful to take down penny, penny is kind of overpowered once you get to the last areas.
the next 2 bosses might relay on rng depending on what units you got. though its not really gonna happened.
if you dare to go deeper into tumore. (the harder mode) be prepared for the worst suffering that could happen.
yes you do get a reward for beating 3 star (*Insert Final Boss of some chapter in tumore*)
you get tumored versions of normal units. one being impossible to get basically. Unless you do a game breaking bug (Which could get you banned for abusing them)
I Recommend you buy gamb- I mean summon cards on a uberfest. theres.a huge chance your gonna get at least one uber.
Final Tip. Take Breaks if you're suffering from a stage. sometimes you have to wait for a actual good unit (like noir)
or if you just Wishing you could end your computer.
Also, Theres an upcoming update on 15th September.

Some tips for the rare battlers, all of them have their own respective uses. It's not like TBC where only a few rares are actually useful, but as for the rares in TBB, Ninja is a stackable Backliner-Rusher, he's probably the highest DPS unit you've got right now (Excluding Noir for obvious reasons), And Trainee (My dear boi) Drafted is a Krip alternative, but a lot of people think, including me, think he's just a better Krip. Cheaper, Wayyyy easier to stack, and has better traits, as Krip has red targetting, and a lot of red enemies have defense, and Krip is terrible againts those. While Drafted has Black targetting, and IIRC, no Black enemy has defense. (Excluding Tumore)

Matt. Vulcan battler is a literal minigun. If you get a good amount of meatshields with him behind them. He will shred EVERYTHING infront. His attacks get faster firerate every bullet. He will be EXTREMELY useful after you beat chapter 3. as there’s a “hardmode in the game” called tumore mode. Join the game and spam click the purple gear till your screen glitches. He is very useful on the final stage of Doomspire brickbattle tumore. I won’t be explaining how stage 30 20 or 10 works. But say you upgraded your battler to lvl 10. You get the blonde battler. In tumore mode it will instead make the battler a blonde battler. It turns all the enemies into there “Alt” form. But Vulcan is surely useful with meatshields at the stage 30 of tumore.

Prospector Battler doesn’t really work much in most cases. While he has the resists and armor ignore, he just struggles with fighting due to short range and low damage. For breaking the armor you should just take Fencer, he is far more impressive.
Expo Battler is the one I couldn’t find any use for, mainly because I unlocked him too late and stacking him becomes impossible because of how many enemies start using piercing attacks. Vulcan is cool but way too expensive while he doesn’t really add anything new to his niche.
For Ninja try using his first form more, he is far more effective.
Drafted Battler is amazing, he is easily replaceable.

    heyo, nice video
noir is crazy strong if buffed with armor, with healing it makes him a powerhouse. thanks to the fact he has 50% resistance, his effective health is twice as much, but what makes it insane is the fact if he's healed, it will be twice as efficient, compared to healing a titan.
ninja and drafted make a crazy strong combo, spammable single target dps, do NOT overlook this dps, as the fact it's spammable makes it stack much more easily, thus get insane dps, also the sound effects for such are quite.. satisfying
i beat chapter 3 by spamming 4 units the entire time, ninja and drafted being among them, also no ubers or super rares included.
i noticed you have fencer battler, he's the armor version of miner battler, instead going through armor

  • @AlcheMelody
    @AlcheMelody 5 дней назад

Hey Mattshea. you talked about Vulcan Battler seeming not as appealing as Expo Battler, there are some bosses in the later game (such as the Tumored ALT Form of Turking, who has a massive DoT aura around him) that Vulcan Battler outranges and absolutely SHREDS. however since you are on the early parts of the game, you shouldn't use Vulcan over Expo battler as Expo's splash damage is better overall.
Expo/Vulcan battler are only mainly only good against bosses because their fast firerate diminishes when they move. it's great for bosses that are getting close to your base that you quickly need to gun down. Vulcan and Expo require a lot more strategy compared to other battlers, however when used optimally can become some of the best units in the game!

You should really replace the Cannon I'll give you information on each one so you can decide
Gatling: it may not have splash but it can shoot 20 times so more damage
Slammer: this one is a bit situational with the units you have I'm not sure how many times enemies will be very close to your base you will rarely use this
Recoil: it's kind of horrible for normal stages but for bosses it's pretty good for example doombringer is way too close to your Base and he's going to do damage to it now? send him right back now stall and push him back again and your base will not get attacked unless your units cannot handle the peons
treasure: if you think money is a problem then just get pirate or tix collector in your loadout and you will never need this
Absorber: wiki is saying it has 90 resistance it's good for stalling but just like slammer it's pretty situational

its great that youre playing ch3 now!
    whats new?
beware black enemies, attacks from them trigger a counter which goes from 3 to 0, with the hit that drops the counter to 0 dealing EXTRA damage!
watch the hazards, for the battle is about to get hectic!
hazards affect allies and foes, check their effects in the Enemy Lineup!
darkheart - fast, powerful, last hit skips counter from 2 to 0!
outlaw - trowel battlers beware, his crowbar deals splash and double damage to walls!
penny - one hit is all it takes to anger her, gaining splash damage and deadlier attacks!
amputator - super tanky, high health and resistance, AND he heals every hit?!
patrol - locks your units, making everyone ignore them, also has high resistance when holding units!
mad scientist - his table pierces infinitely, anything hit is slowed!

Vulcan battler is a great ranged DPS unit which can be stacked given you have enough meatshields, i believe it is good for boss battles. Also the Bugle/Drummer battler is a great boost for units such as Vulcan and Pirate as the increased attack speed (i think 20%?) gives them a huge boost. works well with meatshields too due to the movement speed boost.
Another thing, there is a bank (i forgot the name) that passively increases the attack speed and movement speed of all of your units. This paired with Drummer battler on units such as Vulcan makes them basically become DPS machines tearing apart anything in their paths.
Oh yeah true form of Paintball Battler is a great backliner too since it ignores defense and has one of the highest ranges in the game, basically the Dragon Cat of this game.
