The Battle Bricks is a single-player Tower-Defense Styled game where you send units to fight against enemies who are able to fight back. Protect your base and send your units to destroy the enemy base. Obtain new units during your progression while you upgrade your units and base to become stronger so you're able to conquer through chapters!
This game is inspired by The Battle Cats.
As a fan of this game, I highly recommend that you play it again if you feel like it. It's really underrated and a fun experience.

Super glad you found this game! I'm a vet for this game (been playing since pre-royal flush) and the mechanical depth of the game is much greater than Battle Cats, which is awesome. Looking forward to seeing you do Chapter 2 and onwards!

the battle bricks actually has no traits for chapter 1 and special units that cost bricks are much more valuable then gambling. also the keybindfor the units is 1-8.
He found that out in the video.
Plus maxing out your first four units is great early on since maxed units are incredibly cracked early on

Hey Mattshea! Glad you're playing this game! Here some tips:
1: This game is more than battle cats, there are multiple units with many features making this diverse
2: There are stages where you will come to a stop (stage 20, and 30 for chapter 1) which tells you, you need to grind for xp for your units and/or base.
3: NEVER roll for a new battlers before Chapter 1
4: Sometimes special units can be unlocked to purchase in the shop, special units are typically unlocked after beating every stage multiple of 10 (chapter 1 is an exception as it introduces you to the game)
5: Just like battle cats, battlers have alternate forms, this does not only apply to battlers but enemies too (in a different mode 🤫)
Hint: NEVER SPAM CLICK THE ⚙️ WHEN OPENING THE GAME

I rolled a unit before beating chapter 1 and got conjuror (idk if its good or not)
I can confidently say from the late-game standpoint that early game (first few areas of chapter 1) is probably the roughest part of the game simply cause it feels very slow and your units are limited. Once you get past that section though the game becomes way more fun and fresh and theres way more strategies you can make. Would love to see more
That was improved very recently, apparently units spawn 50% slower on 1 star difficulty on casual/normal chapter 1.

If people tell you to play on the harder mode you might wanna prepare, I recommend doing it after the final boss of chapter 1
also you should of unlocked a subchapter, try playing it for bricks and xp

You’ve probably seen a bunch of people commenting on how clicking on the purple cogwheel logo in the loading screen unlocks a new mode, don’t try it. It’s much harder and as of now you are nowhere near prepared for it, I’d suggest finishing the first chapter before even considering touching on it

hey matt, if you didn't know there's sorta like "rare capsules" in this game, just press the "cards" button near the base button, but keep in mind, rare tickets don't exist yet, so you basically just have to use your bricks, this is optional but the units from the cards are sometimes extremely useful so i'd sorta recommend doing that, just... don't waste that much bricks
Its not recommended to waste all your bricks on gambling first plus there was a warning added in the latest update that screams at you for doing it before completing chapter 1

It's always great to see more new reactions and content to The Battle Bricks, I've been obsessed with this game for about a year now. It starts off pretty slow but as you progress the game gets a lot crazier and things ramp up pretty fast. Make sure to check out the subchapters too; there's a bunch of extra content there that unlocks as you progress through the main chapters!

Just FYI Matt, this game is still under development (even though this version is out of beta), and chapter four is being currently worked on with I think 7 or 8 chapters in total. This game can be VERY hard and grindy so if you continue this, good luck. Great video though.

Awesome video man! Love the battle bricks, btw there's some tabs below shop and loadout where you can claim badges, get free daily bricks, see enemy and friendly unit stats, and change settings. There's also a setting to view all 8 slots at once
Hello Mattshea, Im here to tell you a secret that you can unlock, which is a new mode! :D. You can unlock this new mode by spam click the group's logo (aka the purple gear), but this mode is extremely hard and buffs all enemies into their Alternate Forms, this applies to bosses as well. So I recommend doing this mode later on when you have beaten Chapter 1 for the first time
(Ye, I'm starting to see how much hate you guys are sending just for spoiling the mode. Guess what, I DONT CARE, There is nothing wrong with doing nice things for someone once in a while, so your rude opinions mean nothing to me, I seem like some of you didn't read the whole thing as i said "I recommend doing this mode later on when you have beaten Chapter 1 for the first time." This game is amazing. I played it. I have all the Ubers. I have everything including gold, bucket which is a secret.
I dare you to try tumore mode in the near future. If you guys don't know what tumore mode is, tumore mode is a special mode that is like the same as casual and normal but all enemys are in they're alternative versions. To access this mode you need to click the tumore logo multiple times. (The purple setting logo at the start of the game)

It's recommended to upgrade trowel for good defense,slinger for quick damage,baller for stalling, and paintballer for picking off the weaker peons

I love the way this game still allows for stalling and meat shielding. They added a very restrictive limit to your units, but added a character specifically designed to meat shield so you don’t have to sacrifice unit slots for protection. Beutiful.

Edit: TBB is kinda fun and gets more interresting later on, with enemies and units having more than 1 ability (like you saw with the 1st boss Paintmaster), and Traited enemies being different than TBC'S Traited enemies (which you will see what they'll do later on 🤫)
And please, Don't go gambling for gacha battlers, try out special battlers first 🙏

I love when good comes like these get found out by awesome RUclipsrs! Something I would also recommend is try out some of the subchapters in the menu like the Classic to make more XP! (And also focus on upgrading the battlers to make them stronger to tank more damage against enemies!)
This game has a thing called alt form,when you level up a unit to level 10 you can unlock their alt form usually costing more making it more powerful,but don't worry alt forms are optional to use which makes strategies,also you can unlock a mode by spam pressing the purple gear when the game begins to start up,but this mode is harder so be careful
Edit: people call it a cheap battle cats when they haven't seen the differences in gamplay

@@fancyman-vf2pr hear me out gang, it has a gambling system, has the base upgrades, unit upgrades and alts (obviously), special units, bases, and enemy types, all you could really consider as different would be unit abilities and the fact you can buy different banks, other than that there is literally no difference gameplay wise (it's literally just spawning units😭)
This game is pretty massive honestly, 3 chapters out of 7 are done, about 100 unique units, tons of unique enemies, a crap load of sub chapters, it’s a fun experience
There is a secret in The Battle Bricks where you click on the tumored logo during the log in scene and you will go to an extra hard mode.
the extra hard mode is called tumore mode and its really unfair

If you upgrade a unit to level 10 they get a new form. Also after you beat a chapter or subchapter there is a star system where it makes the chapter harder. With this star system you can change the difficulty by clicking the star. The less stars there are the easier. Finally the max amount of stars is 3 and you unlock 3 stars by beating 2 stars. Note: You also get a extra strong unit based off the boss of chapter when beating the chapter on 3 stars. You get the unit in the badge button on the home screen.

A tip for Trowel Battler. His walls is considered as a unit and will fill space in your unit limit. And if a wall is far away from the battle, The trowel battler will destory it with damage and make a new wall where the battle is concluding.

Btw here's a tip: Don't waste bricks on gacha, you should spend most of the bricks on Special units, such as Paintball or Speed Battler. (also the people that are telling u to unlock the secret hard mode, u shouldn't listen to them cuz the mode is REALLY difficult and unfair, requiring you to have your units either maxed (the max level is 25 atm) or have extremely rare gacha units. Just don't. Please.)

I haven' t beaten chapter 2 yet, but I can say that some of the bosses will be very hard. Don't be afraid to use strats.

Once you start the game, you can spam click the purple cog to unlock “tumore” mode. It’s pretty much just a harder normal mode that gives more exp
