Poe and/or Last Epoch is waiting 😎.. Diablo 4 is like an abusive relationship, and we’re always the ignorant victims staying optimistic 😅.. tbh, just do urself a big favor and check out pretty much ANY other arpg if that’s what you want to play

@@olivierlanglois3214 To be fair LE isnt exactly any better in terms of pinnacle drops. Getting upgrades is somewhat easy i guess with the loot filter and crafting system. But if you want the pinnacle of a drop you have to be insanely lucky to get a good base item with decent stats and lucky in the crafting process to min max an item. And if its an item for legendary slamming, then you gotta be lucky to get the right unique with enough LP to make it worth it and obviously the more LP the better your chances of getting your best affixes but there is still that risk of completely bricking an item.
Leaderboards: Why offer cosmetic rewards that only streamers can earn? An ordinary player won't have a chance to get them .

visually d4 is way superiour than any arpg. That is make it better for casuals and kind of nothing you can do about it XD Dude even Diablo 2 resurrected is better quality than last epoch and i love last epoch. And gues what i'm not a casual player. So i can see shortcomings of diablo 4 but majority wont and majority is where the money is
@EnderElohim somebody apparently hasn't seen the visual updates with 1.0, or is completely dismissing them. LE is very visually appealing, more so than D2R for sure. On par with D4 arguably.
But if all you are after is graphics in a game then choose the style you like best and roll with it. LE is far superior in every other aspect and is also 100% casual friendly with a very low learning curve

I disagree with you respectfully. Last Epoch visually updated a lot compare to old times and i'm super happy what they doing with the game. Bro i'm typing this why leveling my mage right now on LE. Still visual quality of this game nowhere near blizzard quality. And it is kind of easy to see why. Blizzard still have better and huge team when it come to visual quality.
In many cases i prefer Last Epoch sure. But visually that included stuff like animation quality level design graphic fidelity it nowhere near d2r or d4 level. It far superiour than diablo 3 tough but that barely mean anything when diablo 3 looks like dog shit.

In terms of graphics Diablo 4 is vastly superior. The contrast levels for it are alot better aswell. Even with the new lighting changes in 1.0 LE goes from a bright day light map to a dark void style map and i can barely see anything on it. The conrast ratios are absolutely awful on LE I really wish they would make those dark maps a little lighter so i can actually see things. Diablo 4 has a great level of contrast where dark dungeons are dark enough to give enough vibes and atmosphere. While not completely making my game so dark that i dont see a thing. Equally the game is too bright to the point im squinting like i am in certain LE maps.
Overall in terms of features LE really does come ahead i dont think anyone can say its less superior to diablo, however i do like elements of both games, Heck even Wolcen had some good ideas. I really loved wolcens hybrid effect between energy and mana going from caster one second to rogue/scrapper the next swinging your energy bar to maximize resources.
It would be nice if blizzard would just take one minute, step back and look at the genre as a whole, see whos doing what and start mixing and matching features that players love. Im really baffled how blizzard seems to take ideas from other games but iterate on it in a much worse way.
For me personally though in terms of comparison, LE for me is good for indepth gameplay and character building, D4 for story telling and overall combat gameplay.
whole game needs an update. I play last epoch, so much enemy diversity. This game, same old goat men, cannibals, vampires. So boring. The loot sucks and is not interesting, the game is large, with nothing interesting in the game world to do or see. The voice acting makes me cringe. Being one shot sucks, and the skills are the same from level 1 to 70. I'm done with that game unless it gets a massive overhaul. Where the fuck is DIABLO!?! oh ya, we'll get him after they charge us for 2 / 3 more expansions. Forget it.
I was already loving the heck out of my sever necromancer. But I would love some kind of build that includes unstoppable, so I'm stoked for the changes. Don't get me wrong, I understand why people like and play other games instead. I like Last Epoch too!! I just happen to prefer the crispness and the graphics of D4, and I've played Diablo forever (I'm old) so I'm also attached to the world and the story. Can't wait till my Acolytes are maxish level (Lich and a Warlock) so I can play any one of the three I happen to be in the mood for.
I think this is the major issue with diablo 4, there are so many things wrong aswell as devs having such a lackadaisical attitude to player feedback that it really sours the game. There are many things that are just absolutely fantastic With diablo 4 such as combat, sound design, art style etc. Its hard to see whats great about the game beyond all the miss steps.
Unpopular opinion: I'm okay with the update. I was already having fun, and this will just make it better. D4 in it's basic gameplay, has always been (to me at least), an eternal grind in whatever area was the meta at the time (similar to d2, and d3), so I'm confortable with it.
Yes barb has been broken for 2 seasons now and "borderline" (it totally is)op with HOTA and charge and it's ok....necro minions you can get a 20% DMG increase as a consolation prize 😢

Incinerate summoning a flaming ring around you instead of being a reverse firefighter would be cool

Until they fix itemization and endgame they should not nerf things mid season, if they do then nothing changes anyway were still doing the same dull duriel and malphas farm but we'd just be weaker just like the nerfs they did before season 1 we still just used the same builds but they were worse with little to no new variety.
By all accounts Last Epoch is amazing that’s great but not releasing on console is a massive fail. Nearly all D4 streamers I watch are playing a game I can’t play and therefore have little to no interest in.
I thought I would give you a view and comment even though I am enjoying LE and don't I am switching back to D4. LE team clearly plays ARPG and found neat innovations and good solutions to problems in the genre.
Most patches are riddled with bugs and a PTR can help with that…bad decisions and lack of vision though that’s on the devs and I can’t see that changing for the better
PTR is a huge leap forwards. This should allow them some time to get the patch out for player to test which should theoretically allow them a little more time to make improvements to the overall game while players are busy testing and giving feedback. There are asome insane number orientated players out there that have the uncanny ability to show blizzard numbers and tell them how to balance certain skills. So overall PTRs are a huge pplus to the game. The oversight to not having one from the start is just either idiotic or narcissism on blizzards behalf for them to believe they know what the players want and getting it wrong 95% of the time.
No way it's enough they added to problems. I don't want anymore aspects taking more bag space etc

Ah, actually Barb is miles away in power. Evem the camp fire livestream shows that barb racked up 298,000 kill points while the next best hitter was 198,000. That was a whopping 50% more powerful. It should be nerf'ed by a bit like 10 to 15% while buffing the next 3 builds by 20% to 30%

But I've been playing helldivers fun as all hell very entertaining especially with the community they got all in game chat bought a PS5 just because of it and my brother peer pressure me lol
Just wanna say diablo has wayyyy higher peaks at season launch and patches compared to last epochs launch. The game isn't better, it's just newer. It may have launched a bit better than d4s launch but idk what all the hype is about. I prefer D4 and I've played both quite a lot
LE has around 120 dev all together, diablo a couple of thousand.
Diablo has longer history, more money, more dev, more marking and the a lot of people hart cuz of D2 and how many people still believed that 4 gonna be the real arpg after 20 years.
You can compare LE by visuals, or how many people played it at peak. But its gonna be fals.
You need to see how many builds, replayabilty, learning curve and depth the has and in this case D4 falls down massively compare to a game made by a couple dev, not to mention some of them never even worked in gaming industry before.
I am not saying D4 is that bad a lot of people saying. It is enough for 3-4vdays after every season start. But that not you expect a company like blizz
I don’t get the hype behind last epoch. It’s very dated in almost every aspect. Doesn’t look appealing at all
I'll play. Name a game with a better crafting system? D4 - virtually non-existent. PoE - sure you can craft an item at the bench. Or the Bestiary. Or the Hideout. Or the Harvest. Or the fossils. Or the ... you get the point. To me LE is the Goldilocks of ARPG - not too hard (PoE) not too easy (d4). I still play the other two, but I am liking LE the best.
You clearly havnt played it. The new release made things significantly better. The gameplay is decent but the thing that makes the game superior to diablo 4 is the very reason we play these games in the first place, character development and customization. Last epoch has an insane level of character decelopment from your class, to your abilities to your items. In this aspect it is really fun.
I played and do play each season for two or so weeks usually max out of character maxed out a double swing charge barb extremely fun. And got the best gear feasily possible closest to high level as physically possible. Hating the grind of forgotten souls once again and a hell tides. This new dungeon thing couldn't give a shit about. Just like the zir dungeon last season didn't care for it. Played five of them charged right through them no issue went okay. That was kind of pointless It's just so slightly harder nightmare dungeon why do I care. And this doesn't give you any more content for the mid game or early end game. Where you need the more content because you're done with the season you're done with all the intro bullshit and it's just an endless grind of hell lol. You need more mid to early endgame things to do. The one thing about Diablo 3 rift dungeons was their completely random they're taken from every single terrain map dungeon across the entire game so it's constantly something new every few minutes with a new enemy every few minutes where we just replay the same dungeons over and over and over again and it's boring after 20 minutes maybe. I got like I don't know 750 plus hours in this game like I play it way too much at the beginning of each season because I want to play through it and see what's new and check everything out and then go oh that sucks lol. Season 1 only got a druid to level 75 gave up after that season 2 and 3 maxed out a barb had a hell of a time messing with different builds. Probably go rogue next season cuz I haven't played rogue since launch. But they really got to change this mid to early end game otherwise I don't think I'm going to get past the seasonal content maybe hit level 50 not too much farther past that. The hell tight grind with forgotten souls I hated it this season more than I ever have. Season 1 I barely played hell tides I got forgotten souls non-stop off destroying legendaries and uniques I would just run through a hell tied get a couple fiend roses and I was good to go. Ever since season 1 they made it a pain in the ass and total downgrade.
LE is still 1000x better than d4

Comparitively D4 is just a bad game. The systems are naive and amateur, the design team is clueless as to how to design a game because these people are not gamers. They are not a part of this community so they throw shit at the wall and hope something sticks. Look at the nightmare dungeon designer? Do you really believe Queen Antifa has ever played a Diablo game?
