Just a note for @6:50 - I agree that loot filter is probably still useful, but once you get to WT4, I imagine you're mostly going to be hunting for gear that drops w/ whatever indicator they decide on using to denote that it has greater affixes on it. I don't see myself tempering and master crafting on a piece of gear that doesn't have at least one if not two greater affixes on it once I get pieces to just fill in the slot initially.
There are some great changes here, especially with the Codex and more chances to upgrade in a way that fits the specific build.Looking forward to checking it out!

We still need loot filters and there is still not an end game that can compete with POE mapping, but it is sooo much better the direction they are going. If the S4 mechanic isn't terrible like S3 I will give it another chance.
They need to add loadout swapping to the game. They had this in Diablo 3 and if they don't have it in Season 4 then I won't be back. It is ridiculously irritating to have to change all my gear, skills, and paragon board to swap from a fire sorc to an ice sorc.

While i like the updates coming and can see the potential. However, they completely didnt make the locker thing so you can save your build and change to a different one. Where is that?!? Its ridiculous they wont do that. Also, how about more bank space. The updates are nice but lets address everything not some things and say nothing of the other issues

itemization is NOT fixed, its a click bait, what they did was remove alot of the damage on tuesday modifiers ( some still exist, ) and added some crafting modifiers you can add to your weapons, but mostly you will have LESS affixes on items and not new ones, also the defensive aspects of armor with close/distant/dmg reduction is also gone and is now much more rare in the categori just ( damage reduction ) so i would NOT say its fixed, i would say they trimmed the fat on an allready boring affix pool, and they should add more fun affixes instead :),
ALSO, they should have leveing in a certain skill increase its aoe size or other aspects OF the skill it self as it ranks up

Sounds like they are listening at least. huge quality of life improvements. itemization being a key thing. being able to upgrade our codex powers is incredible. helltide in ALL difficulties is fantastic, everything about this sounds like the kinda update i been waiting for really.

I'll return when I can put aspects into the codex.. looking at my storage characters made me feel sick and I just had to bail in season one.
He literally talks about that in the video and there's a note in the notepad that says ''all legendaries can be inputted into the codex of power''.

Looking at the way the development teams work it really seems that the people responsible for even numbers are the A team! So season 4 should technically be a banger... 😊 I'm actually excited to see what happens when this goes live... I'll give it a try I know it's not going to compete with mapping and the end game of path of exile but this is definitely heading in a better direction.
I wonder if we'll get the Backpack Stash Space, that we now use for Aspects, to use for regular stash?

Everything seems good except Uber uniques still only spamming Duriel and now added Andariel, the twin less evils… I knew they will be adding bosses to drop Uber uniques. Hope that the new season mechanics don’t make us grind another Uber.

Itemization is better, it's still the same trash system just simplified and now you can rng roll a bunch to force you to keep actually bothering to look at drops.
But now it's time to watch all the content creators scream "OMG GAMES SAVED HYPE!" so people come back, try again for another week and realize it's still the terrible game they disliked before and leave, but not before Blizzard gets to report on strong seasonal return metrics.
This does nothing but validate to Blizzard that you can release shit and so long as people are financially incentivized to put that shit on a pedestal the system works.
