    I know who you are now. Subbed, my lynx is on the way. But even with the firm ware, redundancy is important for safety. I will be doing this anyway. Thanks man!

      Redundancy is safety rule number 1. Anyway I'll keep my charger lower as well, but I will keep an eye on the cell balance in case the lynx onboard hardware is responsible for balancing and incase it'll only do it after reaching a certain voltage

    Good video on a good topic. Bought batch two on purpose to see if they'd fix it by then. Set my charger to 150 V now, hopefully the cells keep balancing well

    I think there should be a setting what voltage should the wheel to be charged to, or percent. For example 70,75,80,85,90,95 and 100%. But only when balancer can handle this and balance even when battery is not full charged.

    Very nice! I subscribed. So after the P.S. news at the end I won‘t have to open up my charger. :)
    Is the firmware already out or do we have to wait a couple of days?

      Afaik it's being tested atm, the voltage limit will be adjustable on the wheel, they're some videos circulating on telegram

    hi, let's say I rarely do a long trips and want to make sure I don't get a trouble while hard brakeing when 100% charged up. Do you think in that case is reasonable to set charger let's say to 149V (which is around 90%)? Do I get the same level of cell balancing with this?

    • @leoenin
      @leoenin  2 месяца назад +1

      149v is about 98%. If you don't start riding from the top of a mountain, just set it to 150-151.2v, and you'll be fine. The BMS will balance the cells accordingly.

    How are you liking the Lynx vs the V13?

    I got my pidzoom C200 today and adjusted the voltages on my charger as you’ve instructed. Before I adjusted, I didn’t pay attention to what the stock charging amperage was, but now after adjusting to 151.2v the pidzoom is only reading 3.6amps charging at around 480-490watts. Does that potentiometer adjust the amperage as well as the voltage. I thought I’d asked before going back into the charger and re setting it to stock, with in my case was 152.6v.

    • @leoenin
      @leoenin  2 месяца назад +1

      Nope, shouldn't be that. A potentiometer primarily adjusts voltage. It is a type of variable resistor that can be used to divide voltage in a circuit, not directly control current.

      @@leoenin ahh cheers mate, is it also possible if you can check what amperage your stock charger is charging at?

    Do a couple of free spins to burn off charge.😜

    You are supposed to charge up to 95% less if you live in sloped areas.
