Your compositions are superb and your playing is impeccable.
Thanks dude!
Awesome look on the guitar !
Nice looking guitar... sounds Great as well...
Super Shred Playing and the Piano was a Nice touch. Love everything about the Guitar but the Plain Headstock. Maybe Put BaldShredder on it for a Logo!
Amazing build! Amazing jam!
Huge fan of burl tops. Looks like a sweet playing guitar. Nice job.
Amazing, as usual. BTW, I'm still waiting for tabs for all your stuff. 😁
That is a beautiful build Richard! I really feel that way. It plays great! It has a very natural look. I will build one for myself when I can get the junk out of my garage...LOL. Shred on!
Thanks
I had a similar holy Grail guitar around the same time frame. Carvin guitars made a koa neck though that I just drooled over but it was sooo expensive and even now if you are lucky to find one they want your arm, leg, and dog for it! Nice guitar, turned out beautiful!
Yep, Thats a very nice jam stick. A 12" radius is also my favorite. Awesome song brother. Sounded fantastic.
Thanks dude!
Great video brother. Guitar looks awesome!!!
Cool! Didn't know you're also into piano stuff! Cool!!! The guitar really looks and sounds great!
It really does look awesome, I am also a big fan of natural look. That top looks amazing. Nice axe!
Nice, I came here as a suggestion from Sean at Scar My Guitar, the first video I saw was about a dream, and now I'm impressed...
Awesome! Thank you!
Found out about your channel through GuitarMax. Absolutely love your videos!
Awesome! Thank you!
Nice looking guitar and great sound. Good build bro.
From the description on the neck it sounds like they took the exact specs from the older Jackson/Charvel pointy headstock necks from the 80s/early 90s.... those are my favorite necks... I do think the radius on those are 12"-16" radius
Great work Richard, that guitar looks and sounds awesome 😀🤘🎵🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice Axe There brother...Love the guitar harmonies....
Very beautiful guitar. I like to use Tru-Oil
Excellent sounding guitar. Great tune too. Love it!
Looks great! A blue stain would be cool also .
Love that burl looks killer sounds great too then again you always sounds good nice keys work too man
Absolutely beautiful jam!
Glad you like it!
Always a fan, but this may be the best guitar jam on RUclips. Especially since you built the guitar. I tinker too, and I'm feeling inspired 🤘
Glad you like it! Thanks
Great looking guitar, Awsome jam 🎸🎹🎶✊
Glad you like it!
that sounded like paint it black meets cold as ice meets george lynch
Nice axe, dude! The track you wrote definitely has that Rocky 4, rocky in deep thought Frank Stallone vibe (the shred version). 👍
Cool, thanks!
Sweet Jam! That body certainly Pops like I knew it would!!! Can I have it back? LOL
Ha ha, I'm going to have to say no.
@@thebaldshredder yeah I kinda figured that! Looks killer and sounds killer too! Very well done!
The guitar is BEAUTIFUL and screams Charvel! First thing I thought of when I saw it. I definitely prefer the look of the direct mount pickups. I've watched your video before comparing Seymour Duncans to the Donlin pickups, which is what prompted me to buy the Donlins in the first place. Some excellent stuff.
Thanks for sharing the links and inspiring others!
Man.. looks awesome.. oil finishes are easy and look great.. goes with your style for dinkys.. but i pisked you for a flat board.. jackson ibanez type thing.. I was trying to revive my 1985 contemporary strat that i butchered in the 80's by cutting a hole for a Kahler Trem.. I think i need to get anew body.. I should talk to you guy.. paint it the pearl white as it was in the day.. this Strat was made by FujiJen since Fender stopped making guitars in USA in the mid 80's.. i will have to look him up.. and give a call..
Love it. I would love for you to build me one in a 22 fret 😊
Awesome awesome leads in your song. Very cool.
Beautiful guitar, it came great🤘
I feel that jam had some Tony MacAlpine influence!
🤘
Thank you for showing its all in the players hands!!
Hi Shredder love your new Guitar
Thanks, me too
At least, you found your Excalibur guitar, your ring of power, the ultimate sonic weapon
Yep!
Holy crap! Nice playin' man!
Hey, thanks!
Cool guitar Man
thing is really cool man
O.M.G.that was awesome man oh.man.WOW YOU PLAY SO GREAT AND LOTS OF LOVE PEACE ✌
A Bald Guitar for the Bald Shredder!! yeah!
Yep, lol.
I got in touch with Inyen Vina guitars and Richard Do responded to me..got me my price and will be ordering my custom guitar very soon..in your opinion which is the best or easiest way to pay them..he emailed me me their info for the Bank wire or the Western Union (money pick-up) as the 2 ways to pay them..
Yeah thats a nice guitar..I love my Alder KNE Soloist single slanted hum bodied build.. you did a great job on the build and as others have said.. Your playing is outstanding with awesome tone as well ! Oh yeah..I read about using Tru-oil gun stock finish and I have done 3 necks in it and it's another awesome way to do a neck.
I can't tell you which way is easiest. Check with your bank and see how to do a wire transfer, fees, etc. Then check Western Union. Which is more convenient and has less fees?
@@thebaldshredder Gotcha on that..I haven't used Western Union in a long time since started doing the Walmart to Walmart thing but try not to do any of it ! It all costs too much!
I am getting the flame top with the Dark Amber from the newer Charvel Pro Mod 24 model and their reverse headstock and your style back neck to body joint with the easy access..going to be awesome for a great price.
That song is fire!
Thanks
Not quite my vibe, but I do love slim D necks
I couldn't click fast enough. Been waiting for this for a long while. Great job here, Richard!
The best guitar I feel is the one you put together yourself. Hoping to get myself one soon.
Thanks a lot!
You need to do a course. Keyboard for guitarists LOL. I play a little keyboard, but I am terrible LOL.
Fantastic looking guitar…you nailed it 👍
Looks and sounds amazing, Richard! Which Donlis pickups did you use? I have a project guitar in the works and I'm not sure what pickups to install. You always get great tones with the Donlis stuff!
There's a link in the video description for the pickups.
Doh! Shoulda looked there first! Thanks man!
You made some great decisions on that guitar, looks awesome, well done! 😎
Thanks!
Nice guitar and playing. But, those first 7 or 8 notes on piano are "Paint It Black."
I guess there are only so many notes on the piano.
@@thebaldshredder I once wrote a song that sounded familiar for some reason. It took me a while to realize I had just put new lyrics to "Runaround Sue." At least you only did it for part of your song. LOL 🤣
Super love the new guitar. You and I apparently have similar taste. I wouldn’t change a thing on it, it look amazing!!!
Also, I really enjoyed your demo song! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks dude!
Looks and sounds awesome! But I'm a floating bridge guy, so I would put in a gold Gotoh GE1996T, gold hardware, and finish it the same way as you. I'm still deciding to pull the trigger on a KnE body, but I've already got numerous projects piled up and a getting less tolerant wife (if you get that you're selling another, right?) 😂
I also have numerous projects piled up. Bodies and necks.
Dude , i love that guitar that burl is awesome and those Donlis pickups sound totally amazing . Hope the honey moon lasts forever .
Dude! That guitar is absolutely badass!
Love the sound and really love the look. You've outdone yourself 🎸 🔥
Thanks dude.
That turned out awesome!
So am I understanding correctly that a 24 fret Musikraft neck fit on that body ok? Was it as simple as you telling the body guy that you wanted a body that would fit those specs or was there some work in getting the neck and body to fit together well? If it’s not too bad I may be doing one of these myself
The neck was slightly high in the neck pocket, so I sanded down a bit off the neck heel. But sometimes that is not even necessary.
Wonderful instrument and composition
I love the burl! What stain did you use on it?
Minwax. I mixed two colors.
Not understanding why you went with those parts that you used on a very high quality
Body and neck? When using a Musikraft Neck and KNE body i would went with the higher grade parts.
Gotoh or similar for the bridge and Duncan, Bareknuckle or Dimarzio for the pu's. To each their own i guess?
It's a hardtail bridge. It's simple and works fine. No need to spend extra on that. Same thing on the pickups. They sound great. No need to over spend for a brand name. I spent money where it was important... the neck! This guitar is perfect.
you are Mir Dinky!! hahahah ,,,very cool gtr, congrats!! I prefer the back wood color.. and yes no finish is cool and the best for necks, I sanded my N24F neck and feels way better.... how much did u spend in the neck and body/
Body 300, neck 250.
Sounds Amazing🤘 And she's Purty! Love the arrangement!!! AWESOME as usual! Looking forward to seeing & hearing the other one...GREAT JOB BUD!!🤘🙏👍
Thanks so much!!
As usual, what a wonderful sound and great playing.👍👍👍👍
What are the pros and cons of a reverse headstock?
Maybe there's a difference in tuning stability? No sure. I haven't noticed. So for me it's just a matter of looks.
You’re ready for a signature guitar
I'm just waiting for Charvel to make it!
@@thebaldshredder if you can dream it you can be it!! 🎸🎸🎸
Your composition is Very "Van Halen-like"!
Where did you get your t-shirt? 1971 is my birth year.
I got it on Aliexpress. But you can those on other sites as well.
Maybe my favorite composition by you Richard!
Amazing piano part!
And the melodic shredding to boot!
Killer build too 🤘
Thanks Andy
Hell yeah it looks cool! Also love the tone and you integrated the piano in nicely.
As much as I like these guitar build/review videos I have to say that the music you compose is a real treat for me. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Very nice! Good build!😊
Oooo. Just when I start thinking you can't outdo yourself...that was the most jaw dropping shred YET!
Just to be the nittitest of nitpickers. You should have added some background strings using that Fesley. Epic!
I need to get a shirt that reads, "The bald shredder gave me GAS". Hhahah. Gear acquisition syndrome. For those unaware. Lol😂. Killer playing. The axe seems legit.
Wow man that's such an awesome guitar I love it.😃👍❤️🔥⚡️🎶🎸
Thanks a lot!
@@thebaldshredder You're very welcome. Much love.❤️
Richard, I think you and I are not too different from one another on individuality. You might ask if others approve of your choices (at least sometimes), but you don't really worry about the opinions of other people when those opinions do not matter. No one's opinion save your own matters when you build your own guitar. For instance, if Les Paul was worried about the appearance of the "Log," which was his prototype "solid body" guitar that he cribbed together from an Epiphone neck attached to a pine plank with pickups, a bridge and strings, he didn't let it bother him. He even played it out, as Edward Van Halen did in his time. All that went wrong was that Gibson didn't like the way the "Log" looked and didn't appreciate what they would have had in a perfected, production-level "Log." That's why Gibson didn't predate Fender in introducing the solid body electric axe. Maybe Les should have gone into business with Leo Fender after all!😎
what is the action on this Guitar? and all the neck es 12 radius? which oil did u use?
Low action. Tung oil.
BITCHIN 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Outstanding guitar, stick to the good stuff. Quit trying to trash out of guitars
