Very easy to follow. My kit has the whole battery assembly built in so no need to install the batteries etc.. Very easy to get the Tumbler up and running. Response is a bit lagging but that's probably because of the Nano's processing power. It's great that the software is installed vs other kits where you have to scramble to find the right software.
@@tonysfun What are the symptoms? Does it turn left? right? You might want to do some basic troubleshooting like check the motors to see if they turn, check wirings, can you push it manually w/o too much friction? Maybe you can post a video and we all can see.
@@Omiefury Thanks for replying! I have it fixed now! What I did accidentally is to reverse the left motor and right motor. Now it stands up and balance itself!

On 11:25 it is shown, that the Tumbler "stands up" automatically. My Tumbler is not able to do this, he could balance etc., but is NOT able to stand up like this device! I tried to reupload the Sketches, but no luck. Seems to be to less acceleration to lift it up? Please help!!

Hello, I am looking for a little dolly car for my Osmo Pocket. I want to install a small camera on it and was wondering if you can program it so that it will go an object around in circles or it will go a straight line without intervention of me.
Cool toy, but unfortunately the wheels do only 1 thing, and that is spin. It’s not balancing, and the mode button only makes different lights flash. Assembled according to instructions.
Hi, I am a robotics student I was wondering if there was any way to make my own code inside of this. I want to make my robot follow a series of movements while balancing but the code is too complicated for me to understand. Please help
Right. I have just assembled this kit. Then I noticed that the position of the motors was not like in the drawings of the assembly tutorial, so I turned the motors. This video shows a better choice for assembling the motors because the center of mass of Tumbller is lower in this case. Unfortunately, I found the video after the kit was completely assembled. Not ready to change it back right now.☹
@@daniel-mircea Are you talking about the gearbox that is connected to the motor? As per my manual, my robot is higher from the ground. The other position would make it closer to the ground, but that isn't following the manual. Despite all assembled correctly, my robot doesn't stand up or balance itself at all! Any suggestions? @@tonysfun Yes, it's about the gearbox. However, the robot should be balanced in both positions of the gearbox. I t is difficult to say what could be the problem. You can add some lines to the code, to see if the microcontroller receives the signal from the sensors.
First of all, is your gearbox spindle closer to the ground or closer to the blue base? I follow the manual, that came with my robot, where the spindle for the wheels is closer to the ground! I've receive an email from Elegoo, where they asked me if the starting position is about 33.xx degrees, and it is, so the serial monitor and the resting position is correct, based on their screenshots. If I change the position from 33.xx degrees the results change. So the sensor is working as it should. BUT I just tried to reverse the motors left motor to the right side and left motor to right side! WOW that was the problem! Now I can lean the robot on the foot and after the power is turned on, the robot stands up by itself! The phone APP works - I must put the phone on top of the robot to connect. Once the connection is made, I can lift the phone and the app works as designed.
