I think its underrated how much of a brutal defeat this was for caustic. He was completely exposed and you could see it on his face. There was always a subtle sense that a lot caustics hype and big moments in battle rap were less about the quality of his bars and more about the controversy he created, the fights, the jefferson price type stuff ect.. Rone does a whole scheme about how caustic is more of an private detective than a rapper and I think that verse really nailed it. And then Rone sort of uses that idea against caustic suggesting that he'll expose the fact that caustic doesn't always write his own stuff. At the mere suggestion caustic in one bar essentially admits that its true, but that everyone does it, and that he gives and takes. He then clearly tries to lie about Rone doing it to, and it was clear on his face that it was all bullshit and he was just hoping he could make up a lie that would freak rone out because rone would be so scared that people would think it was true that he would lose his shit, but rone stood his ground. So now, I'm going back in my mind and wondering if the stuff about jefferson price was even true, or anything that he's ever said was true, or if it was all just a scheme to try to get guys shook. This was a blow to caustics entire career.

As I’m watching round 2 go into round 3 I see Caustic possibly winning it but Rone took frees and writtens and put it all together to successfully rebuttal Caustic’s angle. 2-1 EITHER WAY. This is a very interesting battle because Rone hand picked this... but I have the feeling even though he came home with the W, it didn't end the way he thought. It's like that saying "won the fight, but lost the war", although Caustic's performance wasn't as animated as Rones which led to him losing, he absolutely exposed EVERYTHING that people don't respect about him being the champ. I'm not entirely sure why people think the battle was shit. Sure it was a little unconventional without the common gun references and how-I'll-kill-you verses, but it was personal. This battle was about way more than a necklace. They both brought out each other's character. People want to talk shit about Rone's delivery, but it works for him. He isn't ICE or Shotty, so he does what makes him unique. Caustic brought up a lot of facts regarding their past and they hit hard. The difference is, there was no rebuttal from him, and that proved everything Rone said in round 3 about him borrowing rhymes and being an average opponent. I wouldn't say it was a decisive 3-0, but Rone delivered and dropped bars that shook Caustic to the core. The fact that he even had the balls to call out Pat is ridiculous. Just my observation though...
Rone got the better flow and Caustic got the better punches and delivery IMO. Cool battle.

His 3rd was solid, if his timing wasn't so off I would say Caustic 2-1. But this battle had sum weird energy, not surprising Rone won
