In a way, I think that Antasma was genuinely terrified when Mario came rushing into the Dream World. I mean, look at what he does when Mario arrives: he transforms into his battle form. He doesn't transform for Dreambert, he just kicks his ass, and chucks him out of the Dream World. But when Mario appears, he transforms, which seems to be a complete overreaction. I mean, he's a mass murderer/committed genocide (since we have no idea how large the Pi'illo population was before he attacked), and is very powerful, even when he's not at his full strength. You can't tell me this dude wasn't scared of Mario, since he completely avoided directly fighting the twins the entire game (creating Dreamy Mario to buy himself some more time, and giving Bowser a hand in Dream's Deep) after the tutorial fight, which was just Luigi's dream.
I mean he knew he wasn't able to take them in a fight he was probably betting on getting the dream stone and probably why he even needed bowser in the first place
And yet you stand courageously amidst the shatterer of the Nightmare Stone, in his very own never ending nightmare. Betrayed by your rival, he was abandoned and left to fight on his own.
Ironically I never played Kingdom Hearts or Dream Team before, and when I one day saw a mod of Mario in that game with this music playing, I thought it was normal Kingdom Hearts music

Sticker Star isn't really an RPG as much as it an adventure game, Dark Bowser isn't really Bowser himself just Dark Star taking the form of Bowser, we all know Shrowser is a bonus boss and Not The final boss, and Bowletta is just the first phase of the fight
I mean it wasn't so much that Bowser was the final boss it was more the fact that Bowser was the true antagonist considering Antasma was teased as being the villain and browser being manipulated.

I have a funny story, when I was completing the game for the first time as a child, I didn’t understand every mechanic as in I never knew the store in peaches castle restocks. Then Antsma was a grueling 1 Ana a half hour fight. Until I died and spent 2 more hours fighting it until I finally got to repeat it (but not as bad) with dreamy bowser.

Dream team technically has three final bosses almost back to back. Giant bowser for the final giant fight. Antasma as the final dream fight. And dream stone bowser as the final real world fight.
This song is still my personal favorite from Dream Team, I remember it kinda reminded me of the Tetris Type A theme when I first heard it. It goes HARD as always.

It would be cool if AlphaDream didn't go bankrupt and made a Game while you can play as Antasma or Bowser to stop Mario and Luigi, but Antasma and Bowser will have different roles. Like Antasma is trying to rule the Pillo Kingdom and be the Ruler of the Dream World. And Bowser trying to rule the Pillo Kingdom too and stop Mario and Luigi but the same happens when Bowser betrays Antasma. Just a suggestion (:

Several year later, i finally played this game, and getting to this point really was a journey. I'm just kinda disappointed that I was so overleveled (and with basically all gears and extra points trew in to boost the attack) that I cleared this battle in 9 turns and didn't get to experience this theme
