Looks good on your Uncle Ben's Rice Palif! My question is... The regional trucks don't have freezers and I imagine that was a "freezer meal". How did you keep it frozen? Just in the fridge the 1 day? My freezer is very small and barely keeps anything frozen. A pint of ice cream will become kind of soft on once side because it struggles to keep it truly frozen. That's at max on the temp dial.
Very good question! It was a freezer meal and what I do is keep all of my food (as far as the meats and the freezer meal that is) in my freezer at home and will put it all in the truck refrigerator when I am about to leave out. I have my fridge in the truck set to where it makes really small ice slivers in my stored drinks but not freeze them and it does a really good job of keeping everything frozen for the first couple of days but it is obviously starting to thaw, but by Thursday what ever is left is thawed. I don't take anything to cook for Friday because I go home that day. Just kind of have to choose the food that doesn't store that long first like in this case I knew that I needed to cook the shrimp first or risk being very sick if I ate it later lol.
@@TwoWheelTrucker1 I don’t know that you’ll need it going home every weekend, but they do make a multitude of different sized AC/DC powered freezers if you have any room to spare under your bunk. You can find them on Amazon from $200-$1,500. Good ones can be bought in the lower price range. Just FYI. ;-)
@@cotjocky466 I appreciate the info. I don't have a freezer but I do have a colman electric cooler/heater that I've thought about putting on the truck but like you said with me being home every weekend I probably would never use it.
It really does look good😋
I like you cooking videos please do more of them
