And Lester finally acknowledges, it's not her he was lusting for, rather it was his own youth he wanted to recapture.
I miss when people used to speak in low, intimate tones like this…now many people in movies and online speed talk and shout to get attention and be funny.

Lester I'd say is a great depiction of Depression. He's really down, but he also has great compassion for those who are in a vulnerable state.
