Ugh I relate so much lol. I’m currently rewatching suspicious partner after a couple of years and I’ve realized that while I’ve enjoyed many kdramas there’s only a handful that have this sort of essence that I can’t quite explain. There’s a feeling of comfort or familiarity even if you’ve watched it for the first time (or the themes are not necessarily comforting). I don’t often get it with newer kdramas for some reason although there’s some exceptions. Some of the dramas with a similar vibe for me are “secret garden” (although I remember I had some opinions about the acting of the main female lead), “you who came from the stars” and “ I remember you”. It’s a certain vibe that distinguishes from dramas that I’ve really enjoyed and dramas that I’ve REALLY enjoyed lol. But I totally get the feeling that u get when u watch a 5 star amazing drama and then regular good dramas afterwards, nothing feels the same 😭.

On the note of Mansfield Park, I had to read it for Uni and it doesn't get better. I'm sorry to say and I do love the book, my advise would be to try and find a audiobook for it because it takes so long to read.

So glad you loved semantic error!! Korea really does the bl genre so well. Really sad you didn’t like where your eyes linger but I get it. It’s super well known in the Korean bl world because it was one of the first to come out of Korea. I would definitely recommend Light on Me, it’s a really sweet high school bl and definitely one of my favorites. It’s 16 episodes but each episode is only about 24 minutes. Semantic error and light on me are my absolute favorites.

omg those waffle shots 😍 my favourite korean bl is probably color rush so I would definitely recommend that. it's only 8 episodes and each ep is ~15 min so it's very short! the 2nd season is kinda meh though and also completely unnecessary though so you could honestly ignore it lol. i was originally not gonna watch semantic error but now you've convinced me too!

I read 'little women' last year I think, it is a wonderful book!! Sis same, I speak Arabic, French and English. I read "people we meet on vacation" and wasn't head over heels for it but I still plan to read "beach read" and "book lovers" before judging if I love her books or not. Btw I finally did it and DNFed "a little life", at least for now. 😂🤡 I am now reading "the house in the cerulean sea" and finally feeling like I actually like reading again because I was starting to hate it lmao. ooooh. Mansfield Park is my favorite Jane Austen- though I have not yet read Persuasion or Northanger Abbey. And I have an unpopular experience of not enjoying Pride & Prejudice. I read Sense & Sensibility, P&P, then Mansfield Park and I really appreciated something different with MP since S&S and P&P have such similar structures. I think Fanny is such an interesting character and underrated/under-appreciated. I really like abookolive's video about her called Why You Shouldn't Sleep On Mansfield Park. But I totally understand people not being into MP as much.

I read 'little women' last year I think, it is a wonderful book!! Sis same, I speak Arabic, French and English. I read "people we meet on vacation" and wasn't head over heels for it but I still plan to read "beach read" and "book lovers" before judging if I love her books or not.
Btw I finally did it and DNFed "a little life", at least for now. 😂🤡 I am now reading "the house in the cerulean sea" and finally feeling like I actually like reading again because I was starting to hate it lmao. I love any type of vlogs from you. I am always waiting and eager. So excited to finish my exams and fully decorate my wall with favorite art from artists I love and part manga like yours. 🤩

I’m finally watching videos from people I subscribed to a while ago but I took a RUclips break and so happy I clicked on this video to start my morning! Seeing your manga collection makes me want to read more manga, I’ve only read 2 manga and I’m half Japanese, I feel like I’m betraying my culture’s art 😅 your aesthetic and vibe is right up my alley! I am doing okay but I’m dog sitting for my parents’ elderly dog who needs insulin shots and frequent potty breaks, plus taking care of my 2 year old, is proving to be a bit challenging for me 😵💫 also limits my reading time! ooooh. Mansfield Park is my favorite Jane Austen- though I have not yet read Persuasion or Northanger Abbey. And I have an unpopular experience of not enjoying Pride & Prejudice. I read Sense & Sensibility, P&P, then Mansfield Park and I really appreciated something different with MP since S&S and P&P have such similar structures. I think Fanny is such an interesting character and underrated/under-appreciated. I really like abookolive's video about her called Why You Shouldn't Sleep On Mansfield Park. But I totally understand people not being into MP as much.
