Wonderful lesson with clear explanation. The only question that remains for me is the translation of أخذ, which you rendered here as "he began." I think the sense of the passage so requires it, but I searched the Arabic dictionaries online in vain to find that as a possible definition. .. .usually "take" or "pick" or "gather." Am I looking at the right verb? Thank you .
@@nevrwwbo yes that is right. But that is how it is. Arabs say it differently. The English would say.. he began doing something, the Arabs would say.. he took doing something..but then you have to translate it in a way that the English speaker can understand.

Walekumsalam, I am so glad that it helped. Thanks for the comment ♥️ And yes I think it is waw al haal. Usually waw al haal is followed by jumla ismia, here however it is followed by jumla f'ilia. But I think it is wawal haal, although I am not sure...thanks for the comment ♥️ also you know so much of the grammar, that's impressive, bravo!

Doesn’t فاخذ mean to take something or does it have multiple meanings?
When used before a verb, it means to start doing something.
اخذ يبكي ..
He began weeping, for example.
Sometimes, I find the word, ولو so how can we use the word ولو?
it means.. albeit .. even if it ... for example:
لم يقل لي و لو كلمة واحدة
He didn't say even a word to me.
