Indeed, the French pilots are incredible, but let's not forget the mechanics that allow crews to carry out their missions safely. After 30 years in the air force, I find that we do not pay enough tribute to all the specialties that surround and allow the realisation of missions.

well, most of the pilots seen in this video were from the Marine Nationale
The French make some killer aircraft both military and civilian. I had a chance to take a maintenance check ride in a FanJet Falcon and the pilot let it all hang out! What a hell of a ride in that beautiful jet!!
As you know the Falcon is, like the Rafale, a Dassault Aviation product too!
Just cause you are not used to those check flights, my father was a pilot in the 0g caravelle and it can be very impressive for someone not used to those kind of "move", still they are done within normal limits.

@@reductio1000 Japan by definition does not have a carrier, Russia's carriers are beat down, the UK's carriers are only for vtol or stol and do not look like what the US has, they don't have the cool catapults and can't take big planes like the Hawkeye
👍🏻 Awesome true, only 🇫🇷 and the 🇺🇸 can do that ! UK and Japan does not have catapult systems on their aircraft carrier… that does not look the same at all…. It also restricts a lot the capabilities of their jetfighters as you need to be low on fuel or ammo or both !!!
Japan don't have aircraft carrier since 1945, Uk don't have nuclear powered aircraft carrier and can't go more than a few month at sea@@reductio1000

I am still fascinated by that training session in which a French pilot in a Rafale was able to shoot down an F-22...
You shouldn't really be, the F-22 is less manoeuvrable than the Rafale but that's because it never really was intended for dogfighting, which is an incredibly rare occurrence nowadays. The point of the F-22 and stealth jets in general is to stay hidden from enemy radar and lob missiles at the enemy before the enemy can return fire.
@@Turbonyan That is fair and true, because if an F-22 gets into a dogfight, it's doing its job poorly.
@@Turbonyan the F-22 was design to be a pure air dominance jet. With internal payload, that's a shame rafale can outmanuver it while rafale never was design to be a dogfighter.
Here's the truth. Passiv stealth doesn't works against any radar onpoint. Only activ one works ; electronic warfare.

J'avoue que je ne connaissais pas cette reprise instrumentale de _Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),_ et je dois dire qu'elle est excellente et qu'elle envoie du lourd. Un bel hommage à ce monument de la pop des années 80.
C'est sympa d'avoir invité un ancien à la fête, je veux parler bien sûr du Mirage F1 *!* Quant à l'Alpha Jet, c'est également un ancien, mais il est toujours en service en France, contrairement au Mirage F1.
À ce propos, j'ai l'impression qu'il y a une petite erreur dans la description *:* dans la liste des appareils, je ne vois pas le Mirage F1, mais je vois le Super Étendard *;* or, j'ai eu beau chercher, je n'ai pas vu un seul Super Étendard dans la vidéo. C'est peut-être moi qui fatigue, et peut-être que quelqu'un va me corriger. 😅 Sinon, alors "Super Étendard" figure par erreur à la place de "Mirage F1".
