The best episode was when Herman thought Lily was going to have a baby, and Eddie and his friend were playing behind the couch and his friend had a little doll that looked like Herman and Herman saw it walking around the couch and he thought that it was a little baby Herman, that was mad funny to the max!!!!
The actor for Herman had a favorite episode, which was the one where he was turned human, because he had almost none of the costume on, so he was comfortable that episode of filming!
Fred was an incredibly talented man. Harvard educated, classicly trained actor, singer, songwriter, poet, as well as painter, illustrator, and writer of numerous children's books. He was considered one of the most genuine and kind people in Hollywood during his career. To play Herman, he had to wear 40-50 lbs of padding, makeup, and 5 inch platform shoes. Fred made it look so easy. He had such wonderful comedic timing.
This show was terrific. Every character was unique & Fred & Al Lewis were such great comics. They both were in Car 54 Where Are You as well thats a great a show too!
Absolute CLASSIC TV!! I LOVED Herman but I'd have to say Grandpa made the show! Herman and Grandpa's schemes were pure magic!!! This show is in my ALL TIME Top 10 TV series!

Fred Gwynne was a Harvard graduate who was multi-talented in many areas. Here you can tell he had some guitar playing ability forming bar chords! Too bad the role of Herman Munster typecasted him and kept many from realizing the incredible person he was!!
6:10 -- RE: The Reveal; No Joke, I had just finished looking up Fred Gwynne on Wikipedia for some reference pictures of how he looked without the Herman Munster make-up. There ain't much there! So, upon letting the video resume, about 30 seconds later....
Yo la veia de crio aquí en Madrid y era y sera mi serie favorita gracias a todos y en especial a Feed Gweney por ser el monstruo mas gracioso de todos...
What's not to like about Herman? He has the heart of a loyal puppy.

I wish Herman could have been my dad, instead of the ogre I had.
Him and Gomez Addams

He's a burly, roughly 6'5" Frankenstein's Monster with superhuman strength. Yet he manages to be adorable and endearing
gentle as a lamb
Older shows had so much creativity and were just special.
Yes I agree 😊 and hilarious
Probably at 7 feet in costume with the 5" asphalt spreader boots and the extension to give him a flat top head.
@@markantony3875 yes 😁
