Try to travel to the Southern part of the country and see the underwater river there an d one of the WONDERS OF THE WORLD. Boracay is more fun to see the beautiful beaches there!

hi, in your first ride of LRT, I saw the united nation station ... i believe you passed the central station, actually you can alight from that station which is near the manila city hall and across of it is already the intramuros, there's no need to go to makati or magallanes station except you like to go south then back to central though as city ride :)

Filipinos are very helpful by nature, ESPECIALLY to foreigners. They'll volunteer to give you directions without you asking if they sensed that you are trying to find your way. They'll do the extra mile to make sure you don't get lost. Should have taken the phone number of the taxi driver, he just ask for some tip on top of the meter reading. Worth keeping him to go around the city.
The Jeepney and the buses have franchise lines granted by the government. They ply only on designated routes. If they go outside their routes, they get apprehended. You can only hire them if you're asking to be transported within their route.

I don't like to ride taxi in Manila, they always take advantage to the passengers. Not like in Cebu and Davao.
