Boracay West Cove Resort was ordered destroyed because there was an issue between two organizations fighting over the property and the title of ownership and as well the violation of the property developer for building over some natural areas of the island. The resort was put in the spotlight by a broadcaster in 2012, after complaints arose about it building structures on limestone rock formations. Pressure from media pushed the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to demolish portions of the resort that were found to be environmentally unsound. However, resort owner Crisostomo Aquino said he was not served a notice to evacuate or a show cause order. Aquino's resort personnel, upon his order, also helped in the demolition. Several weeks after, the Malay local government ordered to close the resort and demolish its main building. The demolition was due to a number of violations of the resort, which was called the “mother of all violations” in Boracay.
Filipinos are known for their hospitality and warm personalities! The natural beauty of the country is also a major attraction, with its stunning beaches, scenic landscapes, and diverse wildlife.
I agree, perhaps your breakfast buffet isn't necessary. Consider watching cable TV shows to learn more about presenting and camera use. I apologize for not being able to finish your clip; there were too many 'bros.' Remember, not everyone is American, so try using less slang and more universal dialogue next time.
Kumusta “kayo” is the plural for how are you. Kumusta “ka” is to a single person. Kumusta “kuyo” is not a thing here. You might have mixed up kayo and kuya (big brother) 😊. To be safe, just say kumusta! Add “po” to be a bit more respectful (kumusta po, kumusta po kayo).
Thank you for introducing your brother to us, I am now his biggest fan! That resort is awesome, it feels like I could live there forever! Boracay is really beautiful, thank you for taking me to explore places I have never been to in my life! 👍🤩🙏🙌
West Cove, a popular resort on Diniwid Beach, was one of the establishments ordered closed as the island was shut down for up to six months beginning Thursday, April 2018 The government found the resort operating without a locational clearance, and building, occupancy, sanitary, fire safety and business permits. Officials even called the resort structure "the mother of all violations" on the island.
Watching World Nomac patronizing Filipino products and services coupled with his tagalog words and phrases and high praise and respect to people he deal with is simply amazing. He is the man, the myth, the legendary tourist.
Wow!!! now I want to book a trip in Boracay hehe. Thank you Mac for the great video and hello brother😊 Stay safe and enjoy your stay in the Philippines😊
So happy to see you with your Bro... what a beautiful gorgeous place .. absolutely like paradise... the beaches.. the rocks & the green that surround the whole area... Love it
Wow, that was a fantastic long tour in Boracay. The first ruin from Diniwid beach used to be a Spider House. The next one is the Westcove as you already searched. The beach after Westcove is Balinghai beach and the hole you mentioned as a sewage hole was actually the passage way going to the other beach but was closed. The other side of that rock is actually the Punta Bunga cove where you ended the tour which is the Crimson. Those are 5-star hotels in Punta Bunga Beach. I actually have a sunset video at Shangri-La just today which you can watch on this channel. I left a comment to you 1st Boracay video and said: “I hope to see you around” and now I know this video was actually taken months ago. Thanks for the visit and keep safe always.

It's good you have your brother or friend as your companion.Thank you for being so kind to the Filipinos and have fun. You are like my 2 Uncle being so generous to the Filipino workers. Have a good Day always and forever!
I love the philippines so much. I go to manila twice a year. Everyone is so nice and polite. I always feel safe there. Will take my fiancee to Boracay next time I go in January. Have not been there yet.
Salamat Mac for showing this other part of Boracay, which also encourages your audience to share some history about this area. We didn’t know that you can walk to that area, nice that you and your brother showed it here.
Watching your vlog now, it’s so sad that Boracay Westcove is totally destroyed now. But, they had to comply by the rules. I celebrated my birthday there 12 yrs. ago. Nice to see my hometown again 😊
I truly enjoyed this video. The other side of Boracay. A path we would never be able to take. The low end the middle and the high end. Thank you for sharing.
So happy to see you exploring Boracay in the daytime and be able to see more of it although the weather was unpredictable. Feeling nostalgic Cuz I was there 8 years ago the second time around since I feel in love with this beautiful island and definitely will visit it again once we get back home . Thanks for sharing and enjoy your stay in the Philippines. 🥰
I hope you really enjoy our beautiful beaches herein our country ❤ when you will come back? Filipinos are very welcoming and we support you all the way World Nomac😊

The Ruins used to be the Spider House resort, very nice resort and in the next one is the West Cove. It was demolished during the Boracay clean up when Boracay was close for 6 months. No establishments are allowed on the cliff. But it used to be a nice hotel with resto and a diving spot. I used to live there with my partner. So many memories.
Thanks again for touring us around for free, sir Mac😊🙌. We appreciate you for loving and featuring islands in the PH🇵🇭❤️. More of this, soon!! Watching from S Korea 🇰🇷❤️
You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed watching my videos. Thank you for your support, and I hope to show you more of the beauty of the Philippines soon!

Whenever you say brother i will meet you in person come to afghanistan when its safe but i will find you somewhere outside afghanistan thank you for the reply.
I think that was the so-called island cove resort. It is a resort but because it violated some environmental laws and they dont have legal permits it has to be closed and demolished.
Those buildings didnt comply with Boracay’s rules. In 2018 President Duterte closed Boracay for clean up and for checking the establishments that didnt comply with the rules. So the tourist would enjoy the crystal clear water of Boracay, it was closed for 6 months.
Thank you mac you love our country and you appreciate our culture and traditions also you to eat our Filipino different dishes?hope you come with family and your fiance mabelle your group of friends RUclips?Godbless you take care of your journey.
Actually you can store your luggage in the hotel and they will issue you a claim tag usually good for 24 hrs or you can extend it by talking to the front desk. Make sure you take a picture of your claim tag in case its lost. I have done it so many times in Manila and Cebu.
