Mac, people are not necessarily shy speaking inside the metro / MRT. It's just that people are prohibited in speaking inside the train due to COVID-19 protocols hehe. Also BGC is actually in the middle of Guadalupe and Ayala so You can go to BGC via Guadalupe in jeepney, You can also go to BGC via Ayala in bus
Hi Mac, I’ve been silently watching your blogs since 2 weeks ago and always forgot to subscribe, finally I hit the red button today.😃 I just love your positive vibes and how you humbly interact with the locals. Thank you for promoting our Country. Missing my home 🇵🇭❤️. All the best from Germany.
@World Nomac Thanks for showing us around brother, I hope you have a wonderful time there. When are you planning to visit Malaysia 🇲🇾 😊? By the way excellent content 👌.
Guadalupe station is also an option for going to BGC, just take those jeepneys going to Uptown just at the back of the ABC Mall that white one attached to the MRT station, though you didn't get the first instruction from the ticketing which the girl said "Ayala Station". Ayala station is actually the same distance going to BCG, the difference is it is way more convenient as it has a dedicated bus going to BGC. Hehe, nice exploration. Cheers!
Just made me realized how there's so much thet needs to be improved in the public transportation infrastructure in Metro Manila. I'll be visiting this March and I'm already stressed just thinking about going around the city 😅 Hopefully this can be addressed in the next decade, especially reading about the subway that's being built.
There are three ways to get to BGC, you can take Guadalupe, Ayala or Fort Bonifacio SLEX. Since you are in Guadalupe, there are jeeps there going to BGC but the closest one is in Ayala where you can take the bus.
Much respect to the humble, hardworking, friendly Filipinos. Can’t wait to be there for Xmas holidays. It’s more fun in the Philippines indeed! Be safe in your adventures! Greetings from Canada ❤
You should've paid attention to the security guards and the person in the ticket booth, they said Ayala station. You see public transport doesn't always go directly to the place you need to go, and that goes the same with jeepneys.
You are an expert in blogging , thanks for the way how u portray the Philippines, its very kind of you to put Manila in higher perspectives, coz some people are still ignorant today that Filipinos are still backwards and we live in the on trees and there perspectives are that we are a very poor country. thank you World Nomac
Well it is true though that Manila still has problems. Even Kigali City in Rwanda looks more developed than many parts of Manila outside of BGC and Makati. We are a long way behind in terms of urban development.

You were so patient, understanding and really sticked to your goal of not riding the cab. More adventures Kuya Mac ;) I appreciate you visiting and exploring The Philippines. Enjoy your stay!
They really need to organise their mass public transport. This is appalling. Manila is still stuck being car centric when most modern cities are going towards green, pedestrian friendly and mass transit reliant which is more practical and easier to navigate.
@@ophanimangel3143 This is true. But there is definitely progress in this aspect and there will be more as there are a lot of ongoing train rails and subway train system construction. But then again, progress is just so slow 😅😢

Hi, Mac. Actually, these men whom you asked were right. You can go to BGC either from Guadalupe or Ayala. From Guadalupe, you'll just have to find the jeepney terminal near the train station. And from Ayala, thru the BGC bus. Still, congratulations that you made it! 🙂
I've been binge watching your vlogs, love your energy and the way you interact with the locals. Here are some Tagalog words you can use: 1. salamat po (adding "po" shows respect to strangers especially when saying it to an elder. "Kuya" means older brother. and "ate" means older sister so we usually say that to others older than ourselves. You can add kuya or ate when the person you're saying it to looks older than you). 2. Kamusta ka or kamusta KAYO? (How are you?) 3. Anong pangalan mo? (What is your name) 4. Masarap ba yan? (meaning "Is that delicious?" If you want to ask if that particular food taste good). 5. Anong paborito mong pagkain? (What is your favorite food?) 6. Alin ang paborito mo? (Which one is your favorite? You can use that when asking a filipino which food or item is their favorite). 7. ilang taon ka na? (How old are you?). 8. Ingat ka (take care). You can say this after saying bye to others. 9. Magkano po ito? (How much is this?) or you can simply say "magkano?" like how you've been saying it. 10. Gutom na ako (I'm hungry) or busog na ako (I'm full). 11. Gusto ko pumunta sa chinatown (I'd like to go to chinatown).
exactly. that's what I've been telling Mac. The constant kumusta ka, (you dont need to ask them how they are all the time, especially when they've just met you.just say "Hello" or "Hi".) and salamat kuya or ate, "Salamat Po" would be much nicer and pleasant to hear.
Finally, I am already a subscriber of your ytube channel I'm been watching your many vlogs and never attempt to subscribe now finally I made up my mind. Thanks for being nice to all my kababayans.

🇵🇭💖Mac, you MRT and BGC bus travels are the cheapest and less prone to overcharging compared to taxis, regula buses or jeepneys. Very good. We cant do anything about the traffic, you just have to get use to it or familiarize yourself on when traffic is less. Hello Mac, you are absolutely right, the old town Manila vs Ayala, Magallanes, BGC, and Makati really has great different vibes, most foreigners usually start their visit in BGC. There are a lot of things to see in that city. Too bad you did not start early in the day because you are caught in the peak time when everybody is going home from work. The first impression of foreigners, about BGC, it is like New York, Santa Monica as well as Chicago. I have been to Chicago and New York, and the high-rise buildings, you can feel it in BGC. A lot of high-end shops and restaurants. You need to come to the open flea market on the weekend where you can get a deal on good foods, fruits, and snacks. Really proud of you for exploring the two sides of Manila the old and modern. There are more lots to see, Baguio is our summer capital, with fresh cold air and you will see the breathtaking mountain views and how the people who lived there outside the city but it is also a city at the highest elevation. of course, you will need a car like when you visit Tagaytay. It is a winding road, it is called a zig-zag road. Have fun and there are more wonderful places to see in the Philippines.
You should get a AirBnB in BGC. You can get good deals and beautiful studios or 1 bedrooms with amenities such as a gym and a swimming pool too. You should do a collab with Mergim Vlogs or Make It Happen Vlogger Mike. They can show you what BGC is like and where to find what you are looking for.
Everytime you ask for direction ask. Look at your ticker. It will show you their all the station. Going to bgc you need to go to ayala station thats whete buses fly their route to bgc
Mac, below are my suggestions on d mode of transportation in going around from one place to another: 1. Within d City - jeepney, tricycle, bus, vans. (Every city in Metro Manila has different modes of transpo) 2. One city to another city - LRT/MRT train, Buses, Grab or regular taxis, Vans, ANGKAS motorcycle 3. Outside of Metro Manila/Provincial areas - Plane, 2Go luxury ship. Then when u are already in the province, the modes of transpo is mostly tuk-tuk or tricycle or ANGKAS or u may rent a motorcycle.
You are very polite, always saying Salamat ate, Salamat kuya, it’s like a rabbit warren too many over passes. Take care and enjoy your holidays in the Philippines especially in Makati. Enjoy your day!!
So sorry you got the info from person who probably did not understand your dialect. Anyway you were guided by guard the best informant. Goodluck Mac. Thanks for visiting the Philippines.
You could actually ride a jeepney to BGC (usual drop offs are Uptown and Market-market) from the first train station (Guadalupe Station) you dropped off. You can ask around there but there usually is a line of jeepneys in front of the guadalupe commercial complex which is the bldg connected to the MRT
Mahalo for this video..will be there in a few weeks. Having this video in English makes it easier for us to plan. Sending you positivity and Aloha🤙🏻🌺❤️
I feel bad for you. Seems like everyone you asked for direction gave you the wrong one...I wonder if they are from Manila?..I admire your patience...hats off to you!
am sorry for that experience... some people are a bit tired during rush hours going home especially with the huge traffic jam ahead in mind... you can also walk your way to BGC from Ayala station, it's not that far going way through Forbes Park. When you got lost in the MRT, you can drop at the next station and just advice the security guard you got on the wrong side of the train.
Nice to see you're in Makati & BGC, exploring other areas in Manila. I miss Makati. I thought you're in Nepal. Stay safe, Mr Mac. You'll meet a lot of other foreign vloggers in BGC. 👍
As others have pointed out, one can also take public transportation from Guadalupe to BGC. Walking to BGC from Guadalupe is also just a 25 minutes walk.
It’s good to see the confusing & exhausting side of travel…things don’t always go to plan. Your tiredness showed as you were not picking up all the info & cues
Definitely its very tiring to travel yet enjoying when you went to a place thats is new and very modern Places. Like also some new with that place will also the same since the location and everything is very confusing especially when you are commuting alone. Have a safe place Mac🎉

Hi Mac ingat palagi .
Mac you can get to BGC from Guadalupe station. You just get on a jeepney to BGC.
35:54 agree on the contrast. Just sad that Binondo is not being rehabilitated to make it more touristy.
Enjoy your stay! Love your videos 🎉🎉🎉
World Nomac thanks for sharing this amazing video.

Hello am a pilipino, Mac new subscribers, watching from Saudi Arabia, very good your content about your experience in travel in the Philippines
Goodmorning to this energetic man who visited in my country Philippines 🇵🇭
Everytime you ask for direction ask. Look at your ticker. It will show you their all the station. Going to bgc you need to go to ayala station thats whete buses fly their route to bgc
Mac, below are my suggestions on d mode of transportation in going around from one place to another:
1. Within d City - jeepney, tricycle, bus, vans. (Every city in Metro Manila has different modes of transpo)
2. One city to another city - LRT/MRT train, Buses, Grab or regular taxis, Vans, ANGKAS motorcycle
3. Outside of Metro Manila/Provincial areas - Plane, 2Go luxury ship. Then when u are already in the province, the modes of transpo is mostly tuk-tuk or tricycle or ANGKAS or u may rent a motorcycle.
Wow Love You Brother 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Say salamat po, don't forget the salamat po .
The person he ask is also correct its an alternative way goint to BGC.
Modern manilla definitely has greats places, those views remind me of the fabulous New York City 🏙 great video mac 📹
Ok Brother keep enjoying your walking !
Nice to see you're in Makati & BGC, exploring other areas in Manila. I miss Makati. I thought you're in Nepal. Stay safe, Mr Mac. You'll meet a lot of other foreign vloggers in BGC. 👍
Bro Mac feel and enjoy your stay in the Philippines we love...
Thank you so much, my friend!! ❤️🤩
As others have pointed out, one can also take public transportation from Guadalupe to BGC. Walking to BGC from Guadalupe is also just a 25 minutes walk.
Hi Mac have a wonderful day... Enjoy your walk‼️

From Guadalupe take also bus to BGC...market market...or go directly to mc kinley walk going down to Venice mall
