This guy reminds me so much of Bill Nye the Science Guy. 🤔 💚 love this video!
Thanks so much! I can't think of much higher praise. I love Bill Nye!
@@EccentricNature you're quite welcome! I grew up learning about and loving science because of him. 😊
Yes i was thinking the same thing. 💕NonnaGrace

Wow it' like you made this just for me lol. I've been drinking it for a while and knew it was good for me but I didn't know many of the other information. It's really good with lemon and honey.
I probably did. I had a request for it a while back and put it on my list. Was it you?
@@EccentricNature Nope lol. I didn't know you took requests.
@@EnergyAndLightAwakening I do try and cover what people want. :)
Interesting. Just drank a cup of Eastern White Pine Tree (10g) steeped in distilled water for 3-4 minutes, drank it, and definitely felt a decongestive effect along with mental clarity. Doing it for the Suramin mostly, but don't know how much suramin is even in it. If anyone knows please let me in on it.
It hard to find. I could barely find proper vitamin and mineral contents on pine needles. But from what I've gathered. suramin doesn't naturally come from pine needles. It is often combined with pine oil for use, but that's it.
that's so interesting! I never would have known all the benefits. Ok so hopefully everyone will watch to find out which ones are poisonous before they start drinking their Christmas trees ✨✨👍👍 Awesome job on this!
I certainly hope they do!
Just love your videos Erick 🙌🏼Thanks for making them so much fun xx Cathi xx 😘
Thank you Cathi, I really appreciate it! 🌱🙂🌱
I wonder if pine nuts would have similar benefits. However, some people can’t eat certain varieties of pine nuts without getting “pine mouth”. I think I’ll stick with pine needle mulch, and pine tree hikes, and listening to pine trees on a breezy day. 🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
Might be. Though I would assume as a nut it'll be slightly different.
@@EccentricNature Enjoy your tea!🍵🌲
Just remember...don't pick any under 'foxes' height😉🐶🐾🐺
Will do! :)
I first learned of pine needle tea MANY years ago when I was in the Boy Scouts. We didn't know any of this stuff but we knew there were pine trees all over and there wasn't any coffee! Thanks Erick. I wonder why few folks have looked into this?
That's cool they taught about it in Boy Scouts!
Plenty of pines around here. You need to do a live stream on how you tie your tie. Is it better to steep fresh needles, or will dry needles work as well?
The only thing about fresh needles is to make sure they are washed properly. You can use dry needles. If you are finding them while foraging, the same washing needs to happen. And they are dried it will change the properties slightly, but they will still be there.
Wow I had no idea.. thanks for the info ❤❤❤❤❤ and of course the fun way of bringing it, as always 😀😀😀😀😀
Thanks so much! 🌱🙂🌱

Great information as always, I think I will skip this tea.
No worries, it is an unusual one.
Thanks for the tips 😀 have a bless day brother prayers and peace of Jesus hugs 😀 🫂 🤗
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it. 😊
Hi brother Eric wow didn't know they made pine tea wow
Yeah! Very cool how so many common plants and trees are still edible.
I'm in the south, it's almost only yellow pine but it's not on your list. Do you or anyone reading this know about yellow pine tea
Yellow pine has been used to describe Ponderosa Pine, which is mostly poisonous to animals. If you have any other variety of yellow pine, you are probably okay.
You can tell he drinks it face looks great! Good job bro!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it. 😊
Hi Dear Friend! Nice video. Have a happy weekend!🙏😊👍32

Thanks so much! I really appreciate it.
Love your channel man; quick question, is balsam fir considered a true pine?
It is an actual pine. And is one better than the other, not necessarily, they may just have slightly different benefits, but not by much at all.
If we could ever get back as one with nature, alot of our issues would be solved.😢
I absolutely believe that.
oh i need help with the cholesterol , very intresting
Hopefully it can help you.
You definitely didn't definitively tell me a thing LOL
Hope you are well, take care.
And I never will... ;)
You take care too!
yep. ...even ponderosa pine needle tea !
Brilliant!

Pregnant women should NOT DRINK PINE NEEDLE TEA!!!!
Why do you say that?
@@EccentricNature I have recently been looking into the benefits and the warnings.
It seems that it was used in ancient times to terminate a pregnancy .
I have read this or heard it a few times so far while searching pine needle tea and it’s usage. Just thought it needs to be known. I appreciate your information and it was no slur against you 👍🏼
@@leeturner3750 That's good to know. I didn't do a lot of history research on this one, more just modern research. So that's an interesting fact to have. Thanks!
@@EccentricNature no problem 😉 your info is a part of my understanding of something I hadn’t heard of before last week.. and then three times in a few days Pine needle tea was in my attention so I had to find out as much as I could...
I am definitely going out tomorrow to find my pine needles in the local area and start enjoying the numerous health benefits of this very beneficial gift from nature ✨
Cheers 👍🏼
Awesome 👍😎 new 🆕 friend
Thanks and welcome!
I feel as though my comment disappeared 🤔
Huh...did you have another comment? Maybe it did!
This is not exactly my cup of tea. 😎
It is a peculiar one.
I always love your content, Eric. I learned of this last year, I was completely thrown by this. I had no idea or have heard of this. Thanks for the full run down. Most definitely circle back around this if there’s more research. Take care friend😉
It is one of those odd things that is right in front of you very often and it just doesn't dawn on your to say hey, you're a type of leaf really, I should be able to use you. 😊😁
I drank fir needle tea about more than 10 years ago. It was good 😃👍Have a nice weekend.
Awesome!
What a great tree for a natural resource. You can make pine needle baskets and so many medicinal uses I just learned👍🏾
Yup! More than just a pretty decoration and oxygen source. :)
@@EccentricNature 😆
Why in the beginning of your video you had a list of pine trees you can use for tea, one of them being balsam fir tree, but later in the video you state that balsam fir tree is toxic? Please clarify. Thanks.
eeghads! This is what happens sometimes when I do these videos by myself. I went back and checked my notes and for some reason some herbalists had listed balsam fir as bad. But by all accounts, it really isn't on the toxic list. So thanks for noticing! I will fix the video accordingly.
@EccentricNature thank you, just wanted clarity cause I think that is the type I have...
@@karensavageau4622 No worries!

Hello Eric, I just love this information. I never knew it was made into a tea. Now to find out what kind of tree I have I will make tea if it is not poisonous to me. 💕NonnaGrace
Happy tea making!
Fun filled informational video my friend. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching Bryan!
I know pines can aggravate asthmatics, but maybe drinking the tea can balance the scales? Our pine tree was blown down in the high winds recently - good news we have more! Cheers Erick! Experiments coming up!
I didnt see anything specifically about it hurting asthmatics. But it is something that can trigger allergies, so it is possible.
Wow this is so cool to know
Thanks so much for watching!
Juniper tree too?
Juniper is used in lots of ways, tea is one of them.
Excellent.
Thank you! Cheers!
