Praise God for this lesson studying along Hope Sabbath school class- even though they were wrong about the EVENT in 1844- His coming is certain. The event was His transition in ministry in the process of cleansing our sins- The Lamb slain, applied His blood for us in the Holy Place and transitioned to the Most Holy Place & when He stands up to declare those who are righteous, holy OR those who who unrighteous & filthy will then come to take us home to the promised prepared places. This is the blessed Hope indeed.
Greetings team members. Since we are in Great controversy I think it it is appropriate to give my testimony of how I got my first copy of the Geat controversy. I grew up in a farming community in rural Jamaica and was baptized into the sda church in around 1970 with a strong desire to learn. In the sabbath school class I heard they quote from the GC and began to pray a copy for myself, a.calpoter told that is $10,00 for a copy, so I gave him $1.00 until $10.00.but after 2,yes l could not find another $ Then I left home for skill training and got a letter from my mother saying that she had something for me, when I went home it was the largest copy with pictures in it, she said that her neighbor were throwing out books and called her and asked her if she wanted any books and she didn't know that I was praying for a GC so pick up the GC for me. To God be the glory l still have it in my book cace I read the Geat controversy from cover to cover and l am inspired the things that I have learned. My encouragement to all seventh day Adventist challenge your self to read it through the Bible and this book will prepare us to live in the last days.

I have shared with Mark Finley two times , in person, using 2 texts about HOPE, that is MORE relevant than the usual SDA eschatology, apologetic way. He still doesn't get it. Because of the usual approach many SDA look forward , in dread, to the 2nd coming. Many SDA pastors talk..."JESUS is coming soon" and yet how often do they say...but the ANTI-Christ comes first, along with mark of the beast, time of trouble, last plagues, death decree, SUNday law??????? . Monday's lesson quotes Luther Warren to...."get ready, stay ready" What does it mean to be "READY"????. "Motivated by HOPE "...to do what??
