      @@kommandant8272 Hi yeah the case is great definitely worth the money. I manages to get mine on ebay for £40.00 i think it was discounted but still worth it if you had to pay a little more. It comes with one fan and i added two front fans, dont have a custom cooler but the airflow is fine. I use a controller for some games and having the usb ports on the side is ideal. If i could post a picture of it here i would but yeah i recommend it.

    Well i own this case for 2 and something months now.. And its cool as hell. Althrought i don´t have beefy af and cool system, i had an mid tower case before with everything mATX in and it was big and ugly, so i decided to buy q300l. The build quality is pretty solid, screws are a bit tight tho. Installation of motherboard/IO panel was as good as in any other case, no problems with installing GPU either (but i dislike those popping brackets, they could really go with screws.. but you can buy them from Amazon). PSU installation was pretty simple and i recommend to stick all of the cables to the back before you put in PSU.. HDD bracket is really cool and i like it, but SATA cables may interfere with 24pin ATX power cable (but this depends on your routing scheme / motherboard). Installing SSD was a bit tricky (i mounted those rubber things backwards..) but pretty cool.. Cable managment support is pretty basic (pretty lot of tie points and lots of holes) but enough for 50$ case. I fit my Spartan 3 cooler without any problems.. and the positionable front.. well side IO panel is really cool if you tend to move too much on your chair and you may risk breaking some USB drives .. estetically, it is really freaking cool, i love those "cubes" and how they look in mid-light, but if you plan to install RGB fans/strips, the light may be actually so strong that the geometry effect dissappears and the light from strips/fans will cast really terrible circle shadows. And yes, the dust filter is cool, i actually had to clean it only once but its really convinient. For 50$, its a go-to choice for *any* mATX build. I give *8.75/10*

Personalmente lo recomiendo.

  • @NaturalHalfling
    @NaturalHalfling 7 месяцев назад

    Getting this for my own build, the dust filters that let you easily clean them without having to take the entire front panel off are so much easier to maintain for me. I think the front IO panel being on the side is actually really good for some, for example I usually position my PC so that the rear IO shield is facing me, because I think it lets the heat escape easier than if it faced the wall, so with the front IO panel on the side it's still easily accessible.
    If only the lower dust filter was more easily removable and the IO panel had a usb-c, then it would be perfect, but it's still good enough for me as is. Love that it's got the space for a 3.5 drive, I don't know if I could go without my storage.

    If this had been out 2 years ago, I would have considered it. I wanted a non-ATX small case. I built a powerful 140mm fan-based gaming PC in the Phanteks Evolv ITX. This MasterBox has the same sex appeal. Gaming motherboards support high-end integrated audio so only a GPU is needed. Unused slots are wasted space. My case is on my desk. With a windowed PC why throw it down on the floor? I want my guests to see what I put under the hood, not hidden under a desk.

I agree about the front panel location (side panel actually). I don't use it that much anyway and that's why I'm getting a motherboard with more USB ports on the back.

    I ordered 2 of these for my Ryzen builds. My gaming PC, MSI B350 Mortar, Ryzen 1600X M.2 SSD, for my office PC, MSI A320 Grenade, Ryzen 1500X 128GB SSD paired w/2TB Barracuda as a Fusion Drive. Currently they are in P300s, looking for a smaller footprint with better air flow.

    also note something about this case is that this shares the same components as the Q300P, the one with RGB fans and handles that can be installed to this. personally, I want to buy and buy the handles separately.

    Just saw that this was out today! Thanks for the review, Do you think this would fit a Corsair H80i and look good with RBG case fans?

    • @suicidalzebra7896
      @suicidalzebra7896 6 лет назад

      The H80i has a thick rad and is push/pull in standard configuration IIRC, so you might have a few clearance issues in the top or rear especially with certain motherboard VRM heatsinks. Mounting in the front could be a solution if the rear doesn't work out.
      As for RGB fans, it depends on which you choose and how good your cable management skills are. Just be aware that the case will likely be sat on your desk, so you'll want to make sure the LEDs aren't also distracting sat at the edges of your vision.

    Just picked up this case for a friend's build and share all the same complaints and praises. One thing that really puzzled me when building in the Q300L was the PSU bracket. What's the point of that? Seemed to needlessly complicate PSU installation and partially block the AC cable without bestowing any obvious benefit.

    Ok so i got one of these. Awesome case but i have to point out that when my fans were mounted to it, because of the cheesegrater design the fans got about twice as loud and became quite audible. Im using be quiet! fans aswell which were silent mounted off the case. No noise though if mouned outside the case. So I fixed this by buying two cheapo 140mm front fans and hollowing them out and using them as a buffer between the case and the cheesegrater mount. Bit of a ballache but worth pointing out for those of you who want a quiet build. It wouldnt be a problem whilst gaming as i have headphones on but working from home doing light tasking stuff the noise would be annoying as it had a drone to it.

    This casing came highly recommended by the dealer. And now I wish I'd watched more RUclips reviews. My GPU runs hot, fans constantly at 100% and I now have to buy more fans to try improve cooling - which the dealer can't guarantee will work. And the GPU fans are only about an inch above the PSU. What's the point of blowing hot air onto a hot device. As the presenter says... push the budget a little and get a better casing. I wouldn't recommend this casing for anybody installing a GPU.
