I know this is late but just fyi if you ever play it again the co-op level is how often they listen to your radio commands (pressing z, x, c you know 'hold this position' etc). So you can boss them around like that.
Pala before starting a game of Condition Zero or 1.6, type this command in the console: "hud_fastswitch 1", this enables you to switch guns without pressing mousebutton1!
