I loved the original movie and had been hesitant to watch the musical... Then this movie came out and I watched it out of curiosity and was blown away! It was SO good! She played a great Matilda!
She is so adorable. It's true what they say. Talent comes in all shapes and sizes. And ages! 😄 I watched this film a couple of weeks ago. And while there are a few things that I felt could have been more like the book, I loved it. At least it's in the right country. Unlike the 1996 adaption where the characters are American rather than British.
Yesterday my room was SO messy so I cleaned it and I decided to watched Madilta for the 3rd time, and when it finished I still had a bit more to do. I was so bored again so I said, “yk what, let’s watch it again!” The movie is amazing it has got to be my favourite! Every character was fabulous. I’m learning all the songs their literally the best😁
Matilda is just cute before she becomes the character of Matilda I know she is very curious character when she gets to school in the movie and very certain creative
This movie was great but personally, I liked the og broadway version better. They took out some songs and characters and hanged some stuff in bad ways.

@@biffee5373 Honestly, there is barely any Irish in her accent. The only time I caught the Irish was when she said "down". But, that is what happens when you do not speak a language. A person's accent develops based on the primary language they speak, and the accents of people around them. I learned a while back that many people in Ireland actually do not speak Irish anymore. I know the language is not dead, but fewer and fewer Irish are speaking it as time passes.
