Christmas Comes But Once A Year

This channel is dedicated to Toy Inventors, so when I ran across this 1936 Christmas classic by Max Fleischer, I knew I had to share it. The cartoon opens at an orphanage on Christmas morning where the kids play with old toys that quickly break. Enter "Professor Grampy - Inventor," who hears the cries of the kids and saves the day through his ingenuity. I love what I do for a living and more than that, I'm grateful for what I "get to do" for a living. This cartoon was a reminder, and a great Christmas blessing to discover. So on a day filled with gratitude, I hope my fellow toy designers ( and toy lovers) find it as charming as I did. Merry Christmas from all of us at Seize the Play.
