These prices need to come down.
They can’t and it’s not by choice the reason these bikes cost so much is sadly due to emissions the amount of rnd money that goes into these emissions compliant exhaust is a lot also why the r6 was discontinued
The zx6r is also probably Kawasaki’s best selling bike so atleast it will stay around

I’m not surprised it’s selling well. I hated the front end styling of the last generation. That’s why I didn’t buy one. This one looks way better. The 40th anniversary edition with the 90’s throwback color scheme is sick AF. I’m snatching one up.

Never liked kawi but bought kx 250 this year with rebate. That bike is absolutely perfect. Definitely getting a z6xr now I was up in the air between a 2018 r6 but turning into a kawi junkie 🤘

I really like how these new ones look but I love the fact that if my bike breaks down it’s probably my carbs which is a small thing compared to all the sensors and EFI in a newer bike.
Man I would love me a last year (2003?) ZX-7R, or even older for that matter. Epic front end on it.

Just got one last Thursday black on black super sick however it’s been raining a lot and all the sudden I gotta work a bit more often! It had 4 miles on it when I purchased it and has maybe 100 on it now. Not even broken in to really get a good opinion but so far only complaint is I can’t hear or feel as much on it, super quiet and purrs rather than roars!

@@Bold_as_a_LionI’ve owned both, the Kawasaki is a better bike especially if you do road and track, the R6 is completely gutless until 10000rpm.
@@ST-kq9py I’ve owned the R6. It performs at higher revs. It’s meant for the track. The R6 beats the Kawasaki at high revs alllll day.
@@Bold_as_a_Lion they both perform at higher rpm, the latest ZX6R has a 15T front sprocket instead of 16T which is the only reason the top speed is less than the R6, after a sprocket change they are the same at the top, however the ZX6R has a much better useable midrange and drive out of the corners in comparison to the R6.

These are sweet but the front fairing looks so wide/fat. I’d love to see it sculpted down to taper in another inch or two from each side.

No quickshifter at all. Still throttle cable, not ride by wire.
@@amococ2487If it has rider modes it can have a quick shifter. My 21 zx6r had a quickshifter but only upshift

Because of the revised cams and exhaust to meet emissions regulations. Notice several things. About 6 less horsepower, 1 ft lb of torque, and 1000rpm lower redline than the outgoing model.
not true at all. They are slower than the 19-23 STOCK and are FASTER when tuned.
@@blizzthebike what’s the top speed u have hit on your 24 gps? i have a friend with a tuned 24 but tuned 19-23s has been able to hit more top speed, many factors, different tunes, mods, tire pressure im sure but he claims he can’t hit 160 which is advertise from the factory, it’s the only thing that’s deterring me from a 24 but i might be completely wrong just what i’ve heard

Im kinda disappointed, not by the bike itself but what emmisions have done to it. Less power and torque and 1000 fewer rpms from the outgoing model year.
At least they didnt scrap it like Yamaha did with the R6

@amococ2487 that's not how it works. These new cams don't have the capacity to flow more air than the previous model years. Meaning it is incapable of generating more power than the outgoing model without a cam swap or forced induction. If it can't allow enough air into the cylinder at 16k rpm before the valves close you're only losing power... which is why a higher profile cam in necessary for more rpms.

Dumb question why is the back wheel always on a mount
For video purposes: so the bike is standing vertical, not on an angle on the kickstand). For maintenance purposes: so you can service the bike easier(I.e. chain)

$11k for a 600cc bike. 😢 man I’m old. The last time I bought a 600 was like 20 years ago , cheaper sure, but they definitely weren’t as sophisticated as these new ones. These look so good though

I'd rather add some money and buy a CBR1000RR-R SP and it wont leave me foe the rest of my life..thats the honda reliability..as much as a fan of nike, thats totally worthless putting that much on a shoe..most i'd go is like 40k for shoes..that also after a lot of convincing myself
