I cried throughout the entire video, not because I get emotional at weddings, but because it's LOTR. As soon as Concerning Hobbits started to play I just couldn't hold my tears... LOTR movies and books are my whole childhood and adolescence, a big part of my story. Well, I don't need to explain to you fellow fans how magic Tolkien's universe is and how it might have touched your hearts as it has touched mine forever. This is the best LOTR themed wedding I've ever seen. Beautiful ceremony, beautiful couple, beautiful vows and every entrance was epic!!!! Blessings to the couple. Absolutely gorgeous, and the vows were wonderful! This is the wedding I wish I could have, costumes and all, but my family wasn't on board (they are footing the majority of the bills, so they have a say in what I can have). However, my fiance and I will still have a Lord of the Rings theme, albeit a more modern and elegant take. It will still be beautiful and memorable, and our usher has agreed to dress as Gandalf to seat people. I can't wait to share our wedding film with the world, and share our love of the world Tolkien created! Here's to 10-17-2020, and may the pandemic not snuff it out!

I am a full on LOTR nerd and I love this so much!!! I’ve always dreamed of a LOTR themed wedding and now I found a man who loves me enough to say that he is willing to do one (even though he hasn’t even seen it 🥹). We're planning a fantasy/medieval wedding for next Sept and this is just gorgeous. Was the grooms armor custom or where did you get it? That seems to be the hardest part for us. Finding "elven" dresses is simple enough, but armors another story 🙃
It was armor made and released by Windlass Steelcrafts. It was manufactured in India. I was able to find some of the last ones available from a warehouse that found them fallen from the shelves and forgotten about for years. I’ve been getting a lot of questions about them so I may end up trying to replicate them so people can have some of their own.
I love when the officiate of the ceremony who’s dressed like Gandolf, the wizard says if anybody can see just cause one of these two should not be together or something like that. You will keep quiet or something or like that. I love it.
