Any tips for knee cutting with bad knees? I've always been afraid of them as had tonnes of knee surgery before starting Jiu jitsu. Good to see you're well mate ❤️
@chaseshepherd7242 someone sent me a huge list with close to 100 of my old videos on it. I'm so pumped haha. I really hoped they weren't just gone you know?
This is such a comprehensive, in-depth breakdown of the knee slice. Honestly, I’m surprised this was put out for free, this could easily be sold as a full course. Andrew’s already put out paid content on this, but now there’s just a crazy good resource sitting here on RUclips. Unreal.
Dude I hope BJJFanaitcs gets their stuff together just so you can get money coming in. If you do reshoot whatever please do whatever you can to promote the hell out of it cause the level of instruction you provide is different. Your method of teaching is concise, direct, informative and easy to understand. Let us know if you have any upcoming seminars in the NY/NJ area. Good to see you putting out content again.
If they don't, I'm just going to remake all of my old ones in a similar way to this video and figure out how to sell and distribute them myself. 🧙♂️ I could totally have a seminar in the area if you found a gym that wanted to invite me out 🤔
Thanks Andrew! Genuinely find that your delivery and articulation of ideas is fun to watch and easy to digest. Straight to the point and also pretty funny! We’re lucky to have you smashing out some content!
Thanks so much Andrew! This is so detailed as always and I find it way more palatable and better organized vs the old knee slice video. The voice over is a game changer.
@@WiltseBJJ I would like a video where you go into as much detail as humanly possible too, but that's for learning just how deep you can think of things. Not neccesarily to learn the move itself
@Timhttrsn I was wanting to make my instructionals kind of a half and half. First half this streamlined version, second half my interpretation of Danaher thought vomit where I just tell you guys literally everything I know.
I never know how to initially engage the seated guard player confidently. I kind of just fish around not really knowing what pass I should be going for. Do you have any advice on what I should work on? Thank you!! 🙏🏼 Edit: I might add I favor pressure passing but getting to advantageous positions is haphazard. I don't have a system or strategy. Thank you!!
No one knee slices like you my man. Do you prefer having head and shoulder over your hips when in headquarters or having your head leaned over their torso applying more forward pressure?
It's tough. Your grip breaking technique needs to be on point and you need to absolutely intuitively understand how to out 100% of your body into the grip break. It's technique + strength, with strength being a major factor, unfortunately. The biggest grip breaking tip I could give anyone is pull their arm away from you until the slack in the gi is completely gone BEFORE trying to break the grip. If you let the slack come back even a little, you'll likely fail
Thank you, Andrew!
Great to see you well!
Great to be well! ❤️🧙♂️
Share the video if you think it's solid! (Please ❤)

My specific issue is range (I can't even get close to touching heel to butt on right knee. Other knee is fine
Content like this is invaluable. Thanks for the repost. More please!

I had a blast! Thanks for bringing me in!
The depth of technicality here is mind blowing
Knee Slice is the best slice for a reason 🧙♂️

This is really good video man. Its one of the best instructionals on this topic i have ever seen. Brown belt from Finland oss!
I want to make super high quality instructionals 💪🧙♂️
Great format, it's clean and to the point. Keep going, this is the way for sure.
I tried to condense my two hour instructional into a half hour instructional. People seem to like it haha

awesome content brother!
Awesome.
Let's go Andrew👍💪
One thing I noticed is not just doing one undercook but two underhooks when slicing to get even more tighter.
Gracias 🙏 thanks EMPEROR

hey andrew! do you have any advice on a smaller person struggling to break grips against a heavier opponent especially in the gi?

Any peculiarities which would be different for gi?
It's really not much different at all
should be called the nutcracker
You should collab with other RUclipsrs. I'd love to see you go up against Jordan teaches JJ for example.
I'm sure there will be a point in the future where I'm no longer radioactive and some BJJ youtubers will want to collaborate. Just going to take time
Loved the buzzsaw series, but since i burned all my gis this is going to be great material to study
I feel you. My gi's also literally burned up haha. Fucking arson house fire.
what is a concussion compared to victory.. victory is eternal... PUT THAT ON A SHIRT
you're welcome.. oss
