Why do you continue to call Dandilion/Jaskier "The Bard" even after the revelation of who he is? It's minor but it was bugging me..

I thought they cut that part out from the book because in the book he immediately tells Geralt what he did and that he deserved his curse.
But I guess they show wanted to save it until the end for more drama. Worked either way I suppose.
Finished watching season 2 and had to come here to clarify parts where i dont understand. And yes ive reach till the end of your recap. Nicely done

love your recaps. they've been helping me out since season 1 lol. I feel like we got a bit of foreshadowing that Ciri's father is still alive, because I took in that when she was in that alternate universe and when everyone who was truly dead was drifting away to sand, he wasn't. Not the way everyone else was. Also, I know I'm not the only one who doesn't really root for Geralt and Yen as a couple.

Decent recap mate, but u really need to work on your pronunciation:
- the "Kaer" is Kaer Morhen is pronounced like "Care"
- its the "Wraiths" of Morhogg -- not "Wraths" of Morhogg
- why not call Triss by her first name, like everyone else
- its "Cahir" , not "Cahar"
Also, that was not Ciris mother during the Dol Durza... the baby in the vision clearly has brown hair. The woman choking triss in the vison is actually Lara Dorren, and the baby is Rhiannon.
why did killing Varina turn Nevelyn human? she wasn't the one who put the spell on him

I've never watched the Witcher. It constantly shows up on my streams. I listened to both of your seasons recap. I'm ready to hear you tell me about season 3. Very entertaining!
I am more of a Sci Fi guy then fantasy. I would probably never watch this show if there wasn't a sci fi element to it. The Witcher utilises a multi verse in which even our world still exist. In Witcher 3 Ciri accidentally portal to a place where "People rided in self moving chariots and metal birds" . She was implying that she visited earth. Just like in their universe, monster and elves did not exist until portals opened from other worlds that brought them in along with chaos (Magic). I believe even in the book, Ciri ocassionally visted London and New York simply because she just could. So there has always been a bridge between the witcher world and our world with the underlying of sci fiction to glue it all together. From the outside it looks like a simple fantasy story. But technically their timeline aligns with our modern day timeline. Just in another universe or planet.

a correction: wraiths of mörhogg = the wild hunt it's not a sphere it's just another name for The Wild Hunt, mostly the ones that calls them that is the people from Skellige, like Eist, Ciri's grampa.
